“Joan was absolutely amazing! I asked her to pick up Thor on my wedding day and dropped him home. It wasn't an easy task because I was busy and Joan patiently waiting for us. We requested the service for two days and Joan was so helpful. He reached home safe both days. But the most wonderful thing is that we found a small surprise at home that she left and that was extremely special ❤️ I recommend her 200% it was a great experience.”

About: I have attended formal dog training classes. I have fostered 40 rescue dogs for the past 3 years. I currently have three of my own and two fosters at home. I believe fostering is not just about providing a home, but is also about building trust and respect, teaching the rescue dogs basic obedience and social skills. I hope I can help you with your pet care needs with my experience. I currently work at home full-time with a flexible schedule. I can provide dog walking service any time of the day including weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced - in backyard. Doggy day care dogs will have multiple play sessions with my pack outside. They will also get walks daily.

“Tatyana was amazing with Teddy! She took such great care of him and treated him like her own. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such loving hands. Highly recommend!”

“Angelina took great care of my two dogs and two cats! She provided lots of walk/play time and quality time with them to make sure they were loved while I was away. She always kept me updated and provided pictures. I will definitely book with her again”

“Dylan is a great dog sitter. I have a little dog what does not like many people and though she was still scared she warmed up to Dylan and let him walk her. He provided great notes and daily updates. I am very hesitant with who I let watch my dogs but I will for sure be using Dylan in the future.”

About: Experienced 3-dog owner Scott Shanfeld provides reliable, loving pet care. Skilled in handling all personalities and safety-focused, I’ll treat your pup like family! Pet care fits seamlessly by structuring your mornings and evenings around routine walks and feedings, while midday check-ins or longer weekend blocks handle extended service bookings and administrative tasks. Providing in-home pet care—whether it's overnight house sitting or dropping in for visits—is all about maintaining the pet's regular routine to keep them stress-free while their owner is away. Because pets are usually most comfortable in their own environment, keeping things consistent is key. Here is exactly how a professional in-home pet care setup typically works: 1. The Pre-Service Meet and Greet Before any care begins, a crucial first step is meeting the client and their pets at their home. This serves a few vital purposes: Introductions: Letting the pets get used to a new face while their owner is there to reassure them. Routine Walkthrough: Learning exactly where food, bowls, leashes, toys, and cleaning supplies are kept. Logistics: Securing home access (keys, lockbox codes, or alarm instructions) and collecting emergency contact info for the vet. 2. Maintaining the Routine The goal is to replicate the owner's exact schedule as closely as possible. Feeding & Medication: Serving precise portions at the exact times the pet expects them. If a pet requires medication (pills, ointments, or injections), getting clear instructions and tracking doses is a top priority. Exercise & Play: Going for walks, playing fetch, or engaging in interactive play to burn off energy and keep anxiety at bay. Bathroom Breaks: Ensuring dogs get out at regular intervals or keeping the litter box meticulously clean for cats. 3. House Manners & Security Caring for a pet in a client's home means treating the space with total respect. Home Care Basics: Bringing in the mail, watering plants, taking out the trash on pickup days, and alternating lights so the house looks occupied. Cleanliness: Promptly cleaning up any pet messes, wiping muddy paws at the door, and leaving the home exactly as it was found. 4. Communication & Updates Sending regular updates to the owner is one of the most important parts of the job. A quick text with a photo or two during a visit or at the end of the day goes a long way in giving them peace of mind while they are away.

About: I grew up with always having and taking care of 2+ dogs in my house. Since I always had many dogs in the house, I was asked to dog sit frequently, as well. This included over night stays, administering medications and food, potty breaks, and walks! I absolutely adore dogs and their different personalities. I I adopted a Jack Russel Mix that is now about a year old. She is my best friend. I would love to put my love for dogs towards any pups that might need some care while their parents are out and about. I recently just graduated from college and am starting a Master’s program shortly. I am free mornings and afternoons for drop-in visits and walks for your pup. I can easily walk dogs on a in a designated area or let them roam in a fenced backyard. I can crate them/make sure they are safe and secure before I leave.

“Catherine was terrific with our cats. She came over before the stay to meet our boys and learn their schedule. Shadow is usually stand off-ish but took to her right off. He gets insulin shots twice a day and Catherine handled that perfectly. We have already booked her for our next trip.”

Parrish pet parents share their Rover experiences
Jamie was everything you could want in a sitter. attentive, knowledgeable, communicative and professional. this was our first time taking a trip over a week long, and we were very worried about leaving our senior boy alone for that length. but he and our other cat quickly warmed up to Jamie and I'm so pleased with her work!

Bethany was fantastic with our pups! She was so helpful— recognizing that there was a gap in drop ins while we were away (totally MY error— I copied over the wrong day!) and reached out to ensure the pups were covered during that gap(they wouldn’t have been!)— and filled that gap when needed. When we returned — the pups were happy and healthy — and even our normally anxious pup was in good spirits! Highly highly recommend Bethany!

Melissa is so amazing. Luna took to her right away, which was awesome. She provided updates all the time and really took care of Luna as if she were her own. My wife and I are truly delighted we met Melissa and will definitely have her watch Luna in the future. Thank you for everything

I needed a last minute drop in on my dog, and Ivy responded quickly that she was able to help! Ivy is very responsive and sweet! She came on time, made sure Birdie went potty, had food and water, toys and treats! She even gave her snuggles which makes my heart so happy! She sent lots of great pictures! Would definitely book again!
