“Frances took such great care of my fur babies! I felt 100% confident leaving them with her. They were free to have full reign of the home as if they lived there. They also had a nice big back yard to explore if they wanted. She gave them extra perks like watermelon on a hot day (we talked in advance about treats) and a cooling mat to lie on. Don’t look any further! You’ve found a gem 💎”

“Beth was amazing. We have probably never felt at such ease when leaving our puppies behind when we travel. She updated us daily and sent pics of them having the time of their life. Highly recommend and will use Beth again when we travel. 🐶💯”

About: I’m an animal lover but dogs hold a special place in my heart. I get excited to see any dog and enjoy giving them the attention they deserve. I’ve owned dogs of my own for most of my life and have experience caring for older dogs with special needs. I work remotely and travel part time for work. While I’m in town my schedule is very flexible to fit your pet’s needs. I’m happy to be someone you and your pet can depend on I care for pets as if they were my own. Dogs are easy to love so giving them attention is the simple part but dog owners can rest assured as I’m detail oriented and can keep up the same schedule they have when you’re home
“We were so happy with Kendal and Dre. Dexter seemed so comfortable with them and their pup, Zeus. They were excellent keeping us informed with text messages, pictures and videos. Kendal even gave him a goody bag with homemade treats and a toy bone. We have already booked them for another stay next month. Thank you for making us feel comfortable leaving our baby with you both.”

“Mirian did a great job caring for Kayli while we were away on vacation. Mirian sent a photo most days just to reassure us she was adjusting well, especially considering her vision and hearing issues. Mirian was always quick to respond to any questions we had.”

“Jewell is a true jewel!! My nervous pup flourished with her and her sweet pups. My dog is a singlet and isn’t around dogs a lot !Jewell’s pups welcomed her into their home and became great friends with my pup. I appreciate the socialization she received while staying with Jewell. We will be using her again. She is amazing, her home setup is perfect. Jewell is fantastic for nervous dogs. Highly recommended!”

“SUPER, Tiffany and her family treated my dog (Mazie) like family. Especially, thru the hard time of Mazie not knowing where and why she was there. They texted me to keep me informed and we worked thru it together. Mazie, adjusted and finally relaxed and everything was good.”

“Dr Hope and Scott are amazing dog loving people. I did not ask for walks because they have a great backyard and it is huge to let my dogs get the exercise they need for the 4 days. They are happy to be home but they enjoyed their time there. This won’t be the last time we will book with her.”
“Stella's 1st extended stay with Lizbeth & Earl and she could not have been in better hands. We were able to leave town and had peace of mind knowing Stella would be loved and cared for just as if she was at home!!”

“Audrey and Karson took very good care of Rebel and Freya. They kept us informed and answered our calls on a short notice booking. Would highly recommend and will use them again.”

“Jessica was wonderful. I felt at ease leaving my pup with her and her 2 sweet doggies. She was communicative for drop off and pick up. She sent plenty of pics and videos while I was out of town. I would rebook in the future should a need arise, and I recommend her, especially if you’re nervous leaving your pup as Jessica gives off a calming and kind presence.”

“It was the first time we had to leave the dogs for so long and they were very well cared for. Not once I was worried or concerned about them. I would get pictures, videos and updates on them and they looked like they were living their best lives. They were happy and a dog can’t lie so it says a lot about Andressa and Alex. I’m so glad I found them a good loving place to stay when we are out of town!”

“As most pet parents can relate, I was very apprehensive about leaving my furbaby, Bentley, with someone new while we were out of town. However, after a meet-and-greet with Nicole and her husband about a week before, I felt completely at ease. They were warm, welcoming, and very friendly. I got to see exactly where Bentley would be staying and meet their two sweet dogs—everything was clean, organized, and their fenced-in backyard was a big plus. Bentley usually gets along with other dogs, and he had no issues at all with theirs. Throughout his stay, Nicole sent me daily updates and plenty of photos (often more than once a day), which really reassured me and showed how content and well-cared-for he was. When I picked Bentley up, he was happy, relaxed, and didn’t experience any of the stress or stomach issues he’s had in the past after staying at boarding facilities. Nicole truly treated him like one of her own, and I couldn't be more grateful. I would absolutely use Nicole again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible dog sitter. Thank you, Nicole, for taking such wonderful care of Bentley!”

“Betsy was very loving with my dog, Lucy! She communicated with me the entire time I was away, which I really appreciated! Her dog Frida, is now Lucy's new best friend. Betsy has a nice fenced backyard that the dogs were able to run and play out there. She also sent me picture updates and I could tell that Lucy felt right at home. I HIGHLY recommend Betsy and Frida as your next Rover option!”

“Eve. There is so much to say. She is perfect in every way. A lot was happening in my life and she was steadfast in being there for me and for Olive Forever, the Greyhound. I needed additional days at the last minute and am so grateful that she was available, I would book her anytime for any reason if Olive needs someone to care for her when I cannot. Olive clearly fell in love with Eve.”

“Danielle watched my dog for a couple of nights and made the entire process comfortable for me and him, it was my first time leaving my dog without a family member and I was super nervous, she made sure to always communicate, she sent pictures while I was away and even accommodated him when he wouldn’t eat his food, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter as she took care of him like her own! Thank you Danielle!!”

Carla was amazing with our sweet boy!!! This was our first time leaving him and she took such great care of him! She sent me many videos and photos of him and that made me feel at ease while on vacation. I highly recommend her and this will be Brownie’s go to place for sure whenever we travel!

Hannah is simply the very best! I wanted to have our senior dogs in a calm environment and Hannah's home was the perfect spot. Hannah sent updates/photos and I never had a moment's worry about our "old men" being well taken care of. If Hannah's calendar is open for your dates - book now!
Maggie had a great time at Daniel's. Of course she did. Daniel knows dogs. He is attentive and caring. He provided frequent updates and photos. Maggie enjoyed spending time with her new friend Kahana, running and playing in Daniel's large fenced yard. She told me she is looking forward to her next visit.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
