“I am beyond happy with the boarding services Gaby provided for my dog! She is the most trustworthy, sweetest and kindest person and has the cutest family. I know Strike just had the best time staying with her and playing with her kids! 😊 She kept me updated everyday and sent tons of cute photos and videos. In the future I definitely plan to rebook with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter or longer stays such as boarding.”

“This booking was great! They accomodated last minute changes very easy. Yoshi seemed relaxed and himself after the boarding which means he was in good hands.”

“Lexie and her family were great with my senior dog. They took amazing care of him, and I received updates and photos daily. When I came to pick Bailey up, he was happy but I think he wanted to stay longer! lol Thank you Lexie for taking such great care of my boy!”

“Autumn was fantastic with Hadley. She kept me updated with how she was doing and it looked like my baby was having a good time playing with her dog. I will definitely call on Autumn again when the need arises.”

“Rosalva and family were amazing hosts for Gemma and Skyler. They provided a safe, clean, and loving environment for them filled with snuggles and walks . There was constant communication and pictures along the way and our pups were extremely happy! Thanks for taking great care of our puppies. We will definitely have you watch them again!”

“All went very smoothly. We appreciated the meet & greet beforehand. Brian & Julie have a very dog-friendly set up and we're glad Horatio was there to welcome our lot. We will definitely ask to book with this family again.”

“Brian and his family were absolutely amazing with my dog Kobe! Kobe has some anxiety being away from us and Brian made him feel right at home! We were sent lots of pictures and updates as well. Kobe went on walks and got lots of outside time. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian as he really treats your pets like they are his own. Will definitely be using Brian again!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities since I was 15 years old. Friends and family trust me to feed, walk, and spend quality time with their pets. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I also have experience with puppies, and I always follow each pet’s routine closely. I’m a stay-at-home mom, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Your pet will rarely be left alone and will get plenty of playtime, potty breaks, and supervision. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays, with a flexible schedule to meet your pet’s needs. I provide a safe, clean, and loving home with a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play. I have two friendly Poodles and a Pomeranian and always do slow, controlled introductions to make sure every pet feels comfortable. If a dog prefers space, I can easily separate them. I also offer crate care if needed and follow your pet’s routine closely. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates for peace of mind while you’re away.

“Donna was a wonderful sitter for our penny. At 6 days before our trip, our original sitter had a family emergency and Donna was available to keep penny for the week and it was a fantastic option for us. She treated penny as her own, and sent pictures of our happy pup throughout the week. Penny was happy, well taken care of and safe while we were gone. Thank you Donna! We will definitely use Donna again and recommend her to others!!”

“Linda was very patient with Monty and she provided a loving space for our dogs to feel at home. Once he settled down he was attached to Linda's side. Linda sent several photos and it was nice to see our dogs and Linda’s dog all getting along and clearly feeling at home. Thank you for taking care of our dogs and the assurance that they were well cared for allowed us to truly enjoy our vacation.”
“This was our third time rebooking with Rachel—she’s simply the best! We really appreciated the morning and evening updates with photos. Always reliable and caring.”

“Ania was so great! I felt comfortable leaving my baby with her after a meet and greet. She was in regular contact. Lots of photos and updates. Nora is a 4-time rescue with separation anxiety. It was wonderful seeing her so comfortable being away from me. Made me far less anxious about leaving her. We will definitely be going back!”

“Jackelyn was excellent. We did a visit prior to his stay. She was so warm and welcoming to both I and Russell. He took to her immediately. She allowed him to run freely in the house. I received pictures and updates daily. Jackelyn actually taught Russell to sit and lye down. We’re back together and he is kind of moping around. I’ve already talked about anther upcoming stay. I believe he’s found his second home. Thank you so much Jackelyn. 💕💕💕🐶🐩🐩”

“Maggie is an 86lb loving dog who had a great time staying at Abigail's! I couldn't have been happier with her stay at Abigails! She was there for 10 days and everyday I received pictures of Maggie having fun or sleeping. It was so nice to know that she was happy and having fun with the other dogs. She'll be back to stay with Abigail soon! ”

“I cannot recommend Lynn enough! She always goes above and beyond when caring for Celine and treats her as if she were her own. Celine is always happy, well-loved, and well taken care of when she’s with her. For this stay, Lynn watched my dog for the weekend of my wedding. On the day of my wedding, she went out of her way to bring my dog so that I could capture some photos with her before the ceremony. That thoughtful gesture meant the world to me and made an already special day even more memorable. Reliable, caring, and truly exceptional. Lynn is the best dog sitter I could ever ask for!”

“She was absolutely wonderful! So kind, caring, and attentive with our pup. She gave us lots of updates and photos, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our dog and made sure she was happy and comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving! Overall, an pawesome experience! 🐾❤️”

“Janie is amazing! She took great care of our senior terrier Benny on short notice. She gave him lots of attention and love and sent pictures and videos. We strongly recommend her!”

“Garrett was awesome! Very professional, friendly, and accommodating. Huge yard and lots of friendly dogs for our two dogs to play with. We have a German Shepard and a Black Lab mix. Garrett was kind enough to send updates and pictures as well during the stay. Dogs were clean and happy when we got them back. 100% would (and will) use Garrett’s services again.”
“We will definitely use Jessica again. We needed a puppy sitter for over two weeks and Roxy came back happy and healthy and had a great time. We could tell she was loved and had other dogs to play with. It was very reassuring to know our puppy has another home she loves to spend time at and wouldn’t be lonely while we were away.”

“If you’re looking for someone who treats your dog like their own, book Tamara! I received detailed check-ins and adorable photos twice a day, which really showed me how well-cared for my dog was. She truly love animals and don’t just treat this as a a job. Tate is a shadow dog and Tamara did not miss a beat and acclimated to his needs. She is clearly a dog person! I came home to a happy and relaxed dog. Tamara is reliable, kind and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I will definitely book again.”

Rachael took great care of our 2 cats, Nala and Simba, for over a month! We were really happy to receive photos of them adapting to their new temporary home and to see that they were happy and settled. When we collected them again they were very healthy and their coats were really silky and soft, showing that they were completely stress free and happy with their stay. Rachael was always very kind and helpful when we were in contact and knew Nala and Simba well by the time we returned. I can tell that she is a kind carer and would recommend her for your pet sitting needs.

SUPER, Tiffany and her family treated my dog (Mazie) like family. Especially, thru the hard time of Mazie not knowing where and why she was there. They texted me to keep me informed and we worked thru it together. Mazie, adjusted and finally relaxed and everything was good.

Danielle watched my dog for a couple of nights and made the entire process comfortable for me and him, it was my first time leaving my dog without a family member and I was super nervous, she made sure to always communicate, she sent pictures while I was away and even accommodated him when he wouldn’t eat his food, couldn’t have asked for a better sitter as she took care of him like her own! Thank you Danielle!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
