“Freddy & Talena J. took amazing care of Hoot while we were away! From the start, they were friendly, professional, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving him in their care. They kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind knowing Hoot was happy and well cared for. It's clear they genuinely love animals and treat them like family. Hoot came home happy, healthy, and well-loved. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would absolutely trust Freddy & Talena to watch Hoot again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“She’s awesome! Updates every step of the way, play time with my pup and making sure to engage him everyday! Will definitely book with her again, my boy looked so happy in her care ?!”

“Mirian did an amazing job taking care of my dog Luna while I was out of the country. She was attentive, reliable, and treated Luna like her own. I could tell my dog felt comfortable and happy the entire time. I appreciate the level of care she gave, and I would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for great pet care.”

“Nancy is an excellent dog sitter. She takes such great care of our pup, Koah. Her home is relaxing and quiet and he gets all the snuggles he could ever ask for when he's with Nancy.”

“Joan was incredible. From the moment we arrived Captain felt at home. She took him on walks. Sent us updates with pictures every few hours. We highly recommend her! We will definitely be booking her again.”

“Tressa and her family are simply outstanding. Tressa is compassionate, kind, loving and all giving. She stayed up all night by my “Honey” when Honey was sad (whimpering, whining) the first night she was there. Honey has separation anxiety, as does her family and Tressa called me the next day and asked if Honey was allowed to lay where she found comfort (Tressa was worried about teaching her a bad habit). Tressa made Honey chicken and rice when she lost her appetite that first night after asking me first if it was ok. Tressa sent pictures everyday and Honey looked so happy and so loved!!! Thank you Tressa and family for being so good to Honey. We are blessed to have found such terrific people to care for our beloved pet while we are away.”

“Allyssa, her husband, and their puppy Ezzy were very friendly and took good care of Dreamsicle (cat) during the 8 night stay. Allyssa provided pictures & updates throughout the whole stay. They have a nice clean home & super sweet people. Will definitely have them sit for my cat again!! Highly recommend.”

“It's always a bit stressful to leave your pups with someone new, but Tamara is kind, patient, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Both dogs took to her very quickly and were clearly well cared for while we were gone. Tamara responded to messages quickly (before and during their stay), and made sure to keep us updated with pics and notes on how they were both doing. Highly recommended!”

“We are so excited to have found Cheryl! It's wonderful to know our dog will be in good hands when we have to leave her behind. Cheryl is knowledgeable, you can tell she has been working with dogs for long time. She always keeps you up to date with messages and plenty of pictures. It was obvious our dog had such a great time playing with her friend Bella. Search no more this is the one!”

“You won't find a better pet sitter than Linda and her husband Brian. They are devoted to their sweet girl Carmi, who plays so well with any dog they bring into their home. I have no worries when I leave Hank, other than she will be booked the next time I need her. 😍♥️”

“Nicole took very good care of our boy. She even took him to the dog park to play and roam with other dogs. She sent us pictures of Milo to ensure we were at ease during our vacation. I recommend Nicole and will board again in the future. Thanks, Nicole!”

“Their whole family and care given to our dog is top of the line. If you are looking for a family that takes care of your pet like their own, look no further. Thank you so much!”

“This was Holly and Vader’s first experience with overnight care. They stayed with John & Gemma for 5 days. I was provided daily updates while in John & Gemma’s care. I picked up 2 happy and playful dogs, they seemed to have had a great experience.”

About: Hi! My name is Danielle, and animals have always been a big part of our home. We recently lost our beloved 14-year-old dog last October, and while we’re not quite ready to adopt another pet yet, we truly miss having animals around and caring for them. Pet sitting feels like the perfect way to share that love again while helping other pet parents feel at ease when they’re away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, comfortable, and treated like family. We have many years of experience caring for dogs and are very attentive to their routines, personalities, and needs. Whether your pet loves playtime, walks, cuddles, or just a calm and cozy environment, we will make sure they feel happy and cared for while you're away. Our home is full of love, patience, and attention, and your pet will be treated as part of the family. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I take that responsibility very seriously. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! I work from home, so I’m able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. I’m home most of the time during the week and also available on weekends, which allows me to keep a consistent routine for feeding, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. Your pet will rarely be left alone and will be in a calm, comfortable home environment. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide a calm, loving home where pets are treated like family. I have a toddler who has been raised around animals since birth and has always been very gentle with them. Because of this, I only accept pets that are comfortable around children. My son does not interact heavily with pets, but any interaction is always supervised and gentle. I make sure every pet feels safe, relaxed, and cared for while staying with us.
“Lara, is great at sitting our Roxy, she always keeps us updated every couple of days with messages and photos will definitely recommend her to others. And will use her in the future”

“Janie is amazing! She took great care of our senior terrier Benny on short notice. She gave him lots of attention and love and sent pictures and videos. We strongly recommend her!”

“Excellent communication. Meet and greet went well and I felt at ease leaving my four month old puppy for the first time. Brian and his family are very caring people and you can tell that they’re focused on your dog’s well being. We will definitely use them again when the need arises.”

Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
