About: I've been around dogs my entire life and currently care for my own 10-year-old Jack Russell/Beagle mix, Olive. Over the years, friends and family have regularly trusted me to care for their pets while they're away, including feeding, walking, administering medications, and providing plenty of love and attention. I have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need extra patience and care. I'm comfortable administering oral medications and following detailed care instructions to ensure your pet stays happy, healthy, and comfortable. As the wife of a veteran who works remotely from home, I have a very flexible schedule and can accommodate last-minute requests, regular drop-in visits, and dog walks throughout the week. I understand that every pet is unique, and I strive to provide the same level of care and attention that I would want for my own dog. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind while providing your pets with safe, reliable, and compassionate care. I work remotely from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for pet care. Whether your pet needs a morning walk, a midday potty break, an evening visit, or last-minute care, I'm happy to help. Because I make my own schedule, I can accommodate weekdays, weekends, and holidays. I understand that life happens, and I do my best to be available when pet owners need reliable care the most. My goal is to provide dependable service while making sure your pets receive the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and specific needs so they can feel comfortable and secure while you're away. Whether it's feeding schedules, medications, favorite toys, or special instructions, I pay close attention to the details. During drop-in visits and walks, I provide plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, and updates so you can have peace of mind. I'm comfortable caring for pets of all sizes and ages, including puppies and senior pets. As a military spouse and former government employee, I understand the importance of trust, reliability, and treating your home and pets with the utmost respect.
About: I have always been around dogs since I can remember. My mom got me my first dog when I was 8 years old and from there I have been in love with dogs. I’m currently working from home which gives me time to dedicate time spend with your fur baby and play with. My schedule most of the times is pretty flexible. I have a french bulldog that is very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. He loves to play ball and spend time running around. I do have a dog park near my apt which is most of the times empty.
“Jackie was fantastic. We appreciated her quick response to our request and her follow through to meet with us was exactly what we needed. Jackson enjoyed his time with Jackie. I will reach out to again in the future.”
“Cheryl just so happens to be a neighbor of mine and along with her being an amazing neighbor I always feel at ease knowing that my three cats are in her care when I am away from home. My cats warmed up to her so easily and even though they're feeding requirements aren't super straightforward, she's able to handle it no problem! She has a great attitude and you can tell she really loves animals. Very grateful to have her as a sitter.”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
