About: I have a dog and two cats of my own and I have cared for pets my whole life. Caring for cats and dogs is a passion of mine, whether it’s my animals or others I get to meet! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me a lot of free time to care for pets! I am free 3pm-9pm on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays! I unfortunately cannot have animals in my home, my other pets are quite skittish. I offer walking and drop-in visits for cats and dogs!
About: Hi! I’m Tyler! I’m a calm, detail oriented, and animal loving person who finds joy in caring for both cats and dogs. As a proud pet parent to two cats, I understand just how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family. I’m the kind of sitter who notices the little things; like when a pup seems a little more tired than usual or when your cat’s whiskers twitch just before they pounce. Whether your pet is shy and needs a gentle presence or full of energy and ready to play, I adjust my care to meet their needs and personality. With years of hands on experience and a true love for animals, I make sure every visit or walk is safe, engaging, and stress free for your pet (and for you!). From belly rubs and fetch to quiet cuddle time and careful medication routines, I’ve got it covered. Let’s set up a meet & greet, I’d love to learn more about your pets and how I can help! I make sure to feed, play with, and care for pets every day, paying close attention to their needs while giving them plenty of love and calm time. When caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment tailored to each pet’s needs. At your home, I follow your routine closely, including feeding, exercise, playtime, and any special care like medication or grooming. In my home, I provide a calm, loving space where pets feel relaxed and engaged with plenty of attention and affection. My goal is always to keep pets happy, healthy, and stress free while you’re away.
“Catherine was great with my pets. She took care of my two dogs and also made sure my cat got his insulin injections 2x a day which was my biggest concern with finding someone for them. She sent me pictures and a description of her visit every time which made being away from them so much easier. I highly recommend Catherine!”

About: I am currently not working and available anytime. I have a small 10 yo Pomeranian and he is my soul mate. I have a large 7 yo Australian Shepherd as well and he is the perfect baby. He loves other dogs and needs more play times! I have a large house with an extra bedroom for the dogs to stay in. I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. My pups and I love going to dog parks, and going on walks, so we would love to have another pup to come as well! I would love to help watch your loved furry family member! If you are away for the weekend I can watch your pet or if you leave during the week I can check them on them while you’re out.. Please message me with any questions you may have! I’m available any day or time. I don’t currently work but looking for more to do around the area and I love animals so this is perfect! Available for any type of care, in home, walks, drop ins, boardings, I live in Parrish area and excited for the opportunities to be with your pets!
“I’ve used Rochelle for many, many trips and my cats have never been less stressed. She goes above and beyond and I always feel secure knowing I won’t have to worry about them. Strongly strongly recommend!”

“Emily is very reliable and fabulous with dogs! Super sweet and my Kailani loves her which puts my heart and mind to rest when I’m away from her. Great job and I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve always had animals around at home, through fostering, and from volunteering at our local shelter, so pet care is just part of my life. I’ve handled everything from goofy, high‑energy pups to shy cats who need a slow, gentle approach. My fiancée worked at the same shelter for years, so I picked up a ton of hands‑on tips from her too. I’ve cared for all kinds of pets like my fiancée’s sister’s Frenchie and Lab, lots of cats with big personalities, and plenty of shelter dogs who just needed a confidence boost. I’m comfortable with shy pets, excited pets, nervous pets, and the ones who need a little extra patience. I’ve also given medication, done enrichment, and helped pets settle in when they’re unsure. Whether your pet wants couch cuddles, a walk, or even a silly dog birthday party (yes, we’ve actually done one), I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. I treat every pet like family. I work from home Tuesday–Friday, 8am -8pm which actually makes it easy for me to give pets lots of company and attention throughout the day. I keep a steady routine with time for walks, feeding, playtime, and check‑ins. For house sitting, I do need a spot where I can plug into the home’s modem so I can work smoothly. I bring everything I need (cords, portable desk, equipment) and I have a two‑hour lunch break that gives me plenty of flexibility to drive over, set up, and get settled with your pets. Even while I’m taking calls, I’m still right there with them for cuddles, potty breaks, and keeping them on their usual schedule. My work setup never takes away from the care I give. I keep things calm and pet friendly with cozy spots, enrichment, and plenty of supervision. I’ve worked with all kinds of personalities like shy, energetic, nervous, or pets who need medication, and I always go at their pace. In your home, I follow your routine closely so your pet feels secure. In mine, I keep the environment relaxed and predictable so they can settle in easily. My goal is always the same. A stress‑free, loving experience where your pet feels safe.
“Megan was awesome! Communication was super easy and she was very flexible with our schedule. She took great care of our two dogs and sent us some really great photos of the visits!”

“Mckayla did an amazing job watching my cat, Panda! She sent lots of pictures, played with her, and gave clear updates that made me feel at ease while I was on my cruise. Thank you again!”

“Cymberly was awesome. Very respectful, extremely responsive and dependable. I will be only be reaching out to her from now on to take care of my beloved pup! Also, my dog is extremely sensitive & she was able to masterfully handle and bond with my dog.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Hamer
After my regular cat sitter had to cancel before a 2 week trip before the holidays, I discovered Rover.com, which led me to Bryana. Our meet-and-greet went well, so headed off with confidence. It was well placed! Bryana looked after my (3) cats, cared for them and kept me posted with regular emails and photos. I can’t recommend Bryana highly enough…or Rover.com!

Emily is absolutely amazing, I had to find care for my kitty last minute and Emily was more than happy to help on such short notice. She made time for a meet and greet before I left and is extremely friendly and very genuine. She kept me updated each day without even having to ask and I felt so comfortable knowing my kitty was in her care. It’s hard to leave your fur babies alone and I highly recommend Emily to anyone that’s needing someone they can trust and feel safe with

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
