My special bond with my support dog, Bella, reflects the deep connection I build with animals, treating them as family. Anyone can feel confident knowing their pets are in caring and capable hands with me. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! Safety, trust, and your pet’s comfort are always my top priorities. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes you feel most at ease in the comfort of your home. No matter what you’re looking for, I will always care for your pet with patience, responsibility, and genuine love.
About: I had a dog for 10 years he died of old age, but I enjoy being a helping extra hand for others who need it!! I raised him since a puppy and my grandma has dogs I come and visit as well. I work part time at my job, but I have a set schedule and I know that it is important to meet both job requirements. Working one job doesn’t interfere with my daily life, so I picked up pet sitting. I make sure it is a clean safe environment. Having a dog for years I know the good and bad sides. It is my responsibility to take good care of each and every animal!
“Awesome cat sitter! Indika was great; she came to our home consistently and sent great pictures. I could tell my cats were in great hands. Will book again when we leave town. Our cats really liked her! Thank you!”

“Stefania was the absolute best! So kind and attentive to our cat… although we took our dog with us on our trip, she also met him during our “meet & greet” …showed love to both! We not only recommend her to others, we hope she’s available for our future needs!!”

About: Hi, my name is Kelly, and I have taken care of numerous animal species ranging from canines to reptiles. 🐶 I am excellent at training puppies, and I am experienced with special needs animals (my family dog was diabetic). I am also Pet CPR and First Aid certified. I have a small fenced yard, and a large lanai area for the dogs to sunbathe in. ☀️ With your permission, they can swim in our pool! The dogs love cooling down on our tile floors after a nice walk. My house is roughly 2,000sq ft and we sometimes section it off with a gate to provide my cat a secured, calm area. 😁 A little about me- I love animals, nature, and traveling. 🌴 ✈️ I have a bachelors degree, and I am currently a high school government and economics teacher🍎 I have two adventure dogs, and one cat (acclimated to canines). McKenna also holds a bachelors degree. She grew up with Australian Shepherds, Poodles, and Schipperkes. She loves to go on long walks with the pups, and cooking is her favorite hobby. If you prefer somebody to stay at your house, I can ensure you my dogs and cat will not be present. My work hours are from 8AM-4PM. If your dog(s) are used to this routine, I do believe I will be an excellent fit! In addition, I will gladly do any light tasks such as checking the mail, watering plants, etc…Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business and trust. I look forward to meeting your babies! ☺️ Please feel free to message me with any questions or concerns. I respond quickly. I will make sure to walk your baby in the morning and in the evening. I am a high school teacher and my work hours are 8AM-4PM. I have a small fenced in yard and a large lanai. The dogs love to sunbathe in the lanai and swim in the pool. We have a large home that can be sectioned off. This works great if your baby is shy! If I stay at your home, I can ensure you we will go on lots of walks.
“Kaci is great! We’ve used her a lot to drop in on our dog Roo. She sends cute photos and makes sure Roo gets enough mid-day exercise, along with treats and water. I would recommend her to anyone!”

About: My name is Tayler and the love I have towards all living animals and people is endless. Here For You, and Them. I grew up with Dogs and Cats and I love to play fetch and spend quality time with them. I can stay overnight with them or I can just come and stop by and if they have any appointments that they have scheduled I can take them. I would make sure they’re on a leash if they’re normally on a leash. They will have supervision when I let them out. If you create them, I can put them back in their crate.

I am super happy to have found her on Rover; she is communicative, responsible, and loving with my pets. She stayed in contact and answered every question I had about them. I will definitely hire her again—I hope she never leaves Rover! I recommend her 100%.

Kim is compassionate and caring. She brought toys and activities to engage the kitties in active play. She did some extra things like opening and closing the shades so the kitties could bask in the sun during the day. She sent detailed reports for each visit.

We will definitely be reaching back out to Lindsey next time we go on a trip. She was prompt in responding, brought her kids along to tucker out our kitten (who has TONS of energy), and she even cleaned up when our senior kitty had an accident. We highly recommend Lindsey!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 2,200 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across West Samoset. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in West Samoset. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
