“We are blessed to be able to keep our boys in their home while away with Elizabeth and Stephanie’s great care!! Thank you both and we will give you a shout soon.”

“My puppy, Miss Daisy, met Jennifer today. She has separation anxiety and is only 10 months old. I had no worries leaving my home and found her in great spirits upon my return. She paid extra attention to her with a couple of walks and lots of cuddling, too. Thanks, Jennifer, you will hear from me soon!”

“Sue was very responsive and professional. She clearly cared about my dog's health and wellbeing and she did exactly as I asked and was able to help last minute! I am really grateful I found Sue! I will definitely be using her again if I have the need!”

“Michael was great watching our boy Maverick! Maverick is a 110lb Doberman and Michael did a great job handling him on walks! He was reliable with letting him out 3x per day and making sure Maverick had food and water. Overall, we felt super comfortable with him taking care of our baby while we were out of town! We will definitely be using him again in the future!”

About: I’ve been raised around pets all my life. More of a cat person but love to take care of dogs as well and will give them much love ♥️ I recently moved to Florida to look after my papa with dementia and helping out my grandparents. Looking for work as well especially love taking care of animals. Have a cat, dog and a few fishies I take care of. I have helped look after family members pets. Some with very low maintenance cats all the way up to dogs with lots of energy. Usually take the dog out and feed my animals twice a day. Make sure they get play time but also much lovies.

About: I am a retired RN who is currently without any of my own pets to love, so I plan to give my love to yours. I have been a pet sitter for Dogs, Cats, Birds, Rodents and Reptiles. As an RN I have many skills that transfer to pets and I use those on the pets I care for as well. I'm a keen observer and problem solver. I am available to do drop-ins, extended care in your home (with light housekeeping and plant care for additional fee). I am flexible in my schedule and can do long-term (more than 7 days) care if needed. I will be present for as much or as little as your pet requires. I've cared for animals from babies to seniors and can provide the appropriate level of care needed. I have administered injections, pills, topical treatments and wound care to pets. I'm here to care for your furry, feathery, scaly and shelly friends. One Caveat: Walking Dogs who are pullers is not my forte. If you have a large or Medium dog who is used to walking and can be corrected with gentle reminders is fine. I have no schedule limitations at this time. I can be available as little or as much as you need. For short or extended care. The first thing I do is have an in-depth meeting with you about your pet's needs while you are absent. Then I develop a plan based on their typical schedule for waking, feeding, potty, walking, sleeping and medicating. I will attempt to keep as close as possible to their normal routine. I am a gentle corrector unless the behavior or situation is dangerous to them or those around them. I give lots of cuddling and rubs if they want them and respect their need for space too. If they sleep with you, they'll sleep with me. I will follow your directions for their care as closely as possible. Basically, I'll treat them as if they are mine, but love them as if I was you.

“Holly was fantastic, she followed directions to a tee during my time of need. I needed to go to Miami to my mother's funeral. She didn't meet Liberty first and she worked through her fear and protection behaviors with unknown people in the house without me there. So thankful for Holly, great person you can't go wrong with her.”

“Jennifer was amazing. She communicated with us and kept us constantly updated and especially with pictures. She took amazing care of our babies. We will definitely use her again. 😊”

About: I have cared for or been around almost every dog breed that exists. Every time I meet a new pet, it very easy for me to get comfortable with them and show them the respect they deserve in order for them to get comfortable with me. I have owned 3 different dog breeds, each different sizes. Big, medium, or small, I am able to walk and play with them all! I am currently in flight school, flying Saturday to Tuesday every week for 3 hours out of the day. I can attend to your pets before and after a flight, or any time on the days I am not flying (Wednesday to Friday). I will follow your instructions to the last detail. How I walk and play with your dog is how you would walk and play with your dog. I have experience with elderly pets as well and will work with you to get them active without pushing them too much.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
