I'd use Shanna and her husband any time. Watched my guy for three nights at my place. Great communication -- they sent me updates after every meal and walk that he took his meds ate, peed, pooped, and photos each time. Exactly what I need to make me feel like he's being well taken care of. Five stars!
This is the second time we have used Shanna for an overnight stay. She has taken great care of our two dogs, communicates effectively and has always left our home in great shape. Highly recommend!
Shanna and her husband were wonderful sitters for our two (large) dogs! They followed our schedule and feeding instructions, and sent good updates with pictures throughout the AM/PM. Also, the house was left beautifully. Much appreciated. We will be using them again for our next trip. Highly recommend.

My love for animals started at a very young age—I even worked at a veterinary hospital at age 14 as a dog trainer, which gave me hands-on experience in caring for and understanding pets. That early passion has only grown stronger over the years. Pet care is now a natural part of my daily life. I start and end each day with walks and quality time with my two retired greyhounds, so caring for animals is woven into my routine. Whether it’s feeding, walking, giving medication, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I genuinely enjoy every part of it. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets the attention, care, and consistency they need—whether it’s daily drop-ins, overnight stays, or weekend visits. Making animals feel loved and secure is something I take pride in, and it never feels like a task—it’s something I truly love.
