About: Growing up I had 3 dogs, 4 cats, 2 horses and a family of raccoons. I went to cat shows to learn about cat care, and started volunteering with the Animal Humane Society and Wildlife shelters, which I still do today 20 years later. I am single, no kids, go to church, am a librarian and am dependable and honest. I do work full-time with the Government of Manatee County, but go to the owner's home during lunch if they are close enough to where I work. I stay over at the owner's house and am very passionate and cuddly with the pets. I don't do pet sitting in my home, but I certainly have gained the trust of others from overnight stays in many people's homes over the year while growing up babysitting children animals, and home care while in college.

About: I’ve volunteered at rescues, worked for a guide dog school, grooming salons and pet food stores and learned a lot of tricks and wisdom in my 13 years of owning and working with animals. Rescuing cats and dogs has been part of my life since I was 12, I know how to care for them at any stage of their life! I can handle giving medication, topically or orally. I can trim nails and bathe as an extra service and brush out a coat if given the right tools and opportunity. Walking around the neighborhood is no problem for me and taking pictures to update you is my specialty! I currently work part time and work full shifts Monday and Tuesday until 7pm; Wednesday and Saturdays are partial and end by 3pm so afternoons with your pup or kitty should be fine with me :)! Thursdays and Friday are free for me and I should have ample time to check on your pets more than once! Leaving me with a list through text or paper to follow about your little ones feeding regimen and/or medication will allow me to double check that everything is done with you before I leave. I will want to stay with your pet for at least an hour or more and give them the enrichment and socialization they need and will update with pictures to make you feel included :). I will take them outside for a potty at least 2x (once at the beginning and once at the end) and a walk in between to ensure they have an ample chance to use the bathroom. I will check around the house where they have access to ensure they haven’t gotten into anything or made a mess and if they have I will report it promptly to you through text or call depending on the urgency to not leave you with any surprises! At the end of the visit I will take a picture or short video of the pet to give you the peace of mind that they are safe when I leave.
