About: I’ve previously worked as an assistant dog trainer in all levels of the AKC Canine Good Citizen program, handling both puppies and reactive dogs. I also trained a dog to pass the Assistance Dogs International public access service exam and have volunteered at animal shelters. I’ve always loved animals and am now pursuing an animal science degree to turn that passion into my career! I am available the majority of weekdays (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.), Saturday afternoon/evening (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.), and most of Sunday (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Safety and trust are my top priorities with every visit. I use calm, confident handling and positive reinforcement to make each booking safe and enjoyable. I’m more than happy to bring treats to reward good manners and positive behavior! I pay close attention to body language and surroundings, keeping walks low-stress so every dog feels secure, enriched, and understood.
“Got along with my puppy Pluto absolutely amazing! Jean was able to come last minute and walk my boy twice. The pictures of him that she sent me were adorable and proved that she is amazing with dogs and truly loves taking care of them.”

About: I had a dog for 10 years he died of old age, but I enjoy being a helping extra hand for others who need it!! I raised him since a puppy and my grandma has dogs I come and visit as well. I work part time at my job, but I have a set schedule and I know that it is important to meet both job requirements. Working one job doesn’t interfere with my daily life, so I picked up pet sitting. I make sure it is a clean safe environment. Having a dog for years I know the good and bad sides. It is my responsibility to take good care of each and every animal!
“Stephanie and Elizabeth are wonderful. They asked all the right questions ahead of time, or responsive to my questions, came on time, sent photos, and did everything they should, or could. I will be using them exclusively when they are available.”

“Always happy to have my puppies taken care of by Marie. She is always very helpful and sweet as pie to them. I’ve used her for a while now and I definitely recommend and trust her. My puppies miss you already.”

About: I am a compassionate and dependable animal lover who has spent the past eight years caring for my own pet with dedication and heart. My love for animals goes beyond responsibility—it’s a genuine passion rooted in patience, attentiveness, and kindness. I take pride in making sure every animal in my care will feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My special bond with my support dog, Bella, reflects the deep connection I build with animals, treating them as family. Anyone can feel confident knowing their pets are in caring and capable hands with me. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the attention they deserve. I’m available to stop by for playtime, feeding, walks, or pet sitting—whatever you need. I’m happy to work with your schedule to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away! Safety, trust, and your pet’s comfort are always my top priorities. I’m happy to follow whatever routine makes you feel most at ease in the comfort of your home. Whether that’s spending quality time giving your pet lots of love and attention or safely crating them when needed. I make sure pets are fed, exercised with nice long walks, and given time to play and relax. No matter what you’re looking for, I will always care for your pet with patience, responsibility, and genuine love.

About: Growing up, I always begged for a pet every chance I got. As a volunteer, my responsibilities mostly included transport, playing with the shelter animals, weighing, and checking in/watching. I currently have 2 cats, 1 male and 1 female, that I got as kittens. I have had these cats for about 2 years. In the past, I had a dog for 3 years. My responsibilities with these pets include/included feeding, bathing, playing, walking, cleaning up after, etc. I am not currently working and have reliable transportation. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
