About: I volunteered at the Humane Society and have experience caring for animals in my own home. I have also helped lost and stray animals by reuniting them with their owners or finding them loving new homes. I genuinely love animals and treat every pet in my care as if they were my own. Its a blessing to have a soft heart for animals since a little girl My availability is very open & flexible as i am currently doing online school studying Int Arch with a passion to love and provide a safe space for all pets. I am part of the worship team therefore unavailable on, Sunday 9AM-3PM, Tuesday & Thursdays 7-11PM. I provide personalized care based on each pet's individual needs and routine. My priority is making sure your furry family member feels safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away. I will keep your pet fed, provide fresh water, offer plenty of attention and playtime, and follow any special instructions you provide. I have two dogs with opposite personalities, so chances are your pup will find a friend they feel comfortable around! Introductions would always be done carefully to ensure everyone is comfortable and safe- i also have an extra room available if any pet needs their own quiet space or a slow introduction. My cats are independent and enjoy sunbathing outside. Throughout the day, they come inside to eat, sleep, and play. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, your pet's comfort and safety will always come first.
About: I’ve been raised around pets all my life. More of a cat person but love to take care of dogs as well and will give them much love ♥️ I recently moved to Florida to look after my papa with dementia and helping out my grandparents. About: Working Wonders K9 officially began in 2024 but its roots run deep into the heart and the history of Kenna the owner. Throughout her childhood, she trained her pet dogs in obedience and could often be found learning agility and tricks with them side-by-side! As an adult, this passion lead her to train her rescue dog, Luna, as a service dog after developing an autonomic nervous system dysfunction that took away her safety and freedom. Under the guidance of a service dog trainer, she began learning the basics of training a working dog and found a calling. After apprenticing with a training company and spending much of her free time researching dog body language, training methods and training techniques, she opened Working Wonders K9 with the goal of making service dogs accessible to disabled individuals and helping pet parents train and build a strong relationship with their dogs. She offers knowledgeable pet care as well as training and support in obedience and behavior modification. I currently am attending school full time and have my own dog training business where I help clients train their pets in obedience and provide solutions to problem behaviors. During the day I have plenty of time to devote to pet care and making sure each pet gets the time and attention they deserve! I offer knowledgeable and experienced pet care in the clients home. I have a background in veterinary care and dog training and have devoted many hours to understanding dog’s body language in order to care for them better. I provide on leash walking and oversight in homes and backyards to make sure each pet is taken care of and gets the love and attention they need!
“I could not be happier with Michael's care!!!! Responsible, kind, caring! I love getting photo updates from my pup's walks. Thank you so much, I am so happy to know my sweet Flo is taken care of while I'm at work”

About: I offer reliable feeding, walks, and companionship, treating every pet with patience and care while respecting routines, instructions, and your home. I watch for changes in behavior and prioritize comfort, trust, and a low-stress environment. I currently work downtown Sarasota and spend much of my day walking and moving between locations. This makes pet walks and drop-ins a natural part of my routine, allowing me to provide reliable, attentive care and exercise for your pet. I follow your pet’s routine carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and playtime. I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm environment while you’re away. I respect your home, clean up after your pet, and follow any special instructions you provide. I also monitor behavior and wellbeing, so you can feel confident your pet is happy and safe.

About: I have worked with dogs in the grooming industry and the veterinary industry. I have experience and certified in Fear Free, trained to read and properly handle animals body language. I take care of my grandparents dogs often and have a dog of my own. I currently work from 8-4 Monday through Friday. I am able to feed your fur babies and take them for their evening walks. I am completely free on the weekends for drop-in, extended visits, or over night stays! I prefer to take care of animals in their own homes to reduce the stress. A slow introduction is a must, especially as a new person in their environment. I follow feeding instructions to a tee as well as any other instructions left. Play time and walks are a must!

About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. I understand that our pets are our family. I go above and beyond so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. What a typical day looks like: Morning (7 AM - 11 AM): Brisk morning walks to kickstart the day, followed by refreshing water refills and a quick paw wipe-down. Mid-Day (11 AM - 3 PM): Perfect for high-energy pups! I offer lunch-break potty visits, structured neighborhood walks, and backyard playtime. Late Afternoon/Evening (3 PM - 7 PM): Winding down the day with a steady evening walk, light socialization, and plenty of belly rubs before dinner.Flexible WFH Gaps: Because I work from home, I can easily adapt my schedule to match your dog's exact routine and medication needs. The Home Environment: We live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with very low traffic, making it ideal for stress-free, safe neighborhood walks. Outdoor Space: Our property features a dedicated yard perfect for secure, supervised outdoor playtime, sniffing, and leg stretching. Resident Pets: I have one sweet, elderly dog who loves to sleep and keeps entirely to themselves. Because of their senior status, I ensure all pet introductions are slow, controlled, and respectful of everyone's boundaries. Crate-Friendly House: We are a fully crate-friendly home. If your dog prefers or requires a crate for sleeping, feeding, or downtime, I can easily accommodate their routine to keep them feeling secure. Safety First: Your dog's well-being is my top priority. I never leave visiting pets unattended outdoors, and I maintain 100% focus on your pup during our entire time together.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Palmetto
I couldn’t have asked for better dog walkers. Not only did they get my dog to walk longer than I ever can, their pictures, distance and time reports were fantastic and so reassuring. This was my first time using dog walkers and my only wish is I could use them every time!! The girls were so professional, attentive and loving to my dog. I don’t have children so my dog is my child and I can honestly say they are the absolute best. Thank you so much for the fantastic help, Stephanie and Eliza, you are the best.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
