About: I’ve previously worked as an assistant dog trainer in all levels of the AKC Canine Good Citizen program, handling both puppies and reactive dogs. I also trained a dog to pass the Assistance Dogs International public access service exam and have volunteered at animal shelters. I’ve always loved animals and am now pursuing an animal science degree to turn that passion into my career! I am available the majority of weekdays (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.), Saturday afternoon/evening (4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.), and most of Sunday (8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.) Safety and trust are my top priorities with every visit. I use calm, confident handling and positive reinforcement to make each booking safe and enjoyable. I’m more than happy to bring treats to reward good manners and positive behavior! I pay close attention to body language and surroundings, keeping walks low-stress so every dog feels secure, enriched, and understood.
“I love Stephanie and Elizabeth! They take such good care of my dog and give me a good detail review of their time with her. I’m so happy I found them and able to use them when my girl needs extra love and walks! Thank you, always!”

“Got along with my puppy Pluto absolutely amazing! Jean was able to come last minute and walk my boy twice. The pictures of him that she sent me were adorable and proved that she is amazing with dogs and truly loves taking care of them.”

“Shes been awesome. Comfortable with my dog which is no small thing for a young Belgian. Communicates well and has been a lifesaver as a regular with my firefighter schedule.”

“I could not be happier with Michael's care!!!! Responsible, kind, caring! I love getting photo updates from my pup's walks. Thank you so much, I am so happy to know my sweet Flo is taken care of while I'm at work”

About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. I understand that our pets are our family. I go above and beyond so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. What a typical day looks like: Morning (7 AM - 11 AM): Brisk morning walks to kickstart the day, followed by refreshing water refills and a quick paw wipe-down. Mid-Day (11 AM - 3 PM): Perfect for high-energy pups! I offer lunch-break potty visits, structured neighborhood walks, and backyard playtime. Late Afternoon/Evening (3 PM - 7 PM): Winding down the day with a steady evening walk, light socialization, and plenty of belly rubs before dinner.Flexible WFH Gaps: Because I work from home, I can easily adapt my schedule to match your dog's exact routine and medication needs. The Home Environment: We live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with very low traffic, making it ideal for stress-free, safe neighborhood walks. Outdoor Space: Our property features a dedicated yard perfect for secure, supervised outdoor playtime, sniffing, and leg stretching. Resident Pets: I have one sweet, elderly dog who loves to sleep and keeps entirely to themselves. Because of their senior status, I ensure all pet introductions are slow, controlled, and respectful of everyone's boundaries. Crate-Friendly House: We are a fully crate-friendly home. If your dog prefers or requires a crate for sleeping, feeding, or downtime, I can easily accommodate their routine to keep them feeling secure. Safety First: Your dog's well-being is my top priority. I never leave visiting pets unattended outdoors, and I maintain 100% focus on your pup during our entire time together.

About: I have worked with dogs in the grooming industry and the veterinary industry. I have experience and certified in Fear Free, trained to read and properly handle animals body language. I take care of my grandparents dogs often and have a dog of my own. I currently work from 8-4 Monday through Friday. I am able to feed your fur babies and take them for their evening walks. I am completely free on the weekends for drop-in, extended visits, or over night stays! I prefer to take care of animals in their own homes to reduce the stress. A slow introduction is a must, especially as a new person in their environment. I follow feeding instructions to a tee as well as any other instructions left. Play time and walks are a must!
“Kristi is great with Buck and he looks forward to his time with her every day. She provides great updates and is very responsive. I would recommend her for anyone’s pet friend!”

About: I have experience with large and small dogs, cats, and exotics like reptiles (I own a bearded dragon). My home has pets if yours would like to play with mine, but mine are also crate trained if yours need their own space! I work from home mostly, so your pets will be supervised while I am with them. I am available and able to do walks, potty breaks and plenty of snuggle and playtime. I have a fenced yard and three friendly dogs to play with yours if they would like. Otherwise mine can be crated and come out on a rotation so yours can have personalized attention.

Right now I don’t have a schedule so I can work any hours. I can walk, board, or just come over for a free snuggle. I will follow your instructions exactly because I know how we love our fur babies. I’m pretty lenient with my boy. He can get on furniture and in the bed. I figure why have them if you’re not going to love on them! Consider my services please!

I follow your pet’s routine carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, and playtime. I make sure they have fresh water, plenty of attention, and a calm environment while you’re away. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
