About: I am a dedicated and dependable pet care provider with over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for animals independently. I have grown up around pets my entire life and have cared for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, rats, fish, and turtles. This diverse background has given me strong instincts, adaptability, and a deep understanding of individual animal needs. I currently own a cat who is a cherished companion, and caring for her has reinforced my commitment to providing patient, attentive, and high-quality care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important trust and communication are when caring for someone else’s beloved animals. My goal is to ensure that every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved, whether through daily care, companionship, feeding, or maintaining routines. I take pride in being reliable, gentle, and attentive, and I am passionate about helping pet owners feel confident and at ease while they are away. I work as a server, so my schedule can vary from week to week; however, I typically work evening shifts from around 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This makes me most available for pet care during morning and early afternoon hours (approximately 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM), which works well for daily visits, walks, and check-ins. I am happy to accommodate overnight pet sitting, and I always communicate my work schedule in advance to ensure it aligns with both the pet’s routine and the owner’s expectations. Clear communication is a priority for me, and I strive to make sure every pet receives consistent, reliable care while their owner is away. I understand that every pet and owner has unique needs, routines, and expectations. I am committed to working closely with pet parents to ensure all care requirements are met, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and daily routines. Whether a pet thrives on a structured schedule or prefers a more flexible, relaxed routine, I am happy to accommodate what works best for both the pet and the owner. My goal is always to provide consistent, attentive care while making the experience as stress-free and comfortable as possible for everyone involved.

About: Working Wonders K9 officially began in 2024 but its roots run deep into the heart and the history of Kenna the owner. Throughout her childhood, she trained her pet dogs in obedience and could often be found learning agility and tricks with them side-by-side! As an adult, this passion lead her to train her rescue dog, Luna, as a service dog after developing an autonomic nervous system dysfunction that took away her safety and freedom. Under the guidance of a service dog trainer, she began learning the basics of training a working dog and found a calling. After apprenticing with a training company and spending much of her free time researching dog body language, training methods and training techniques, she opened Working Wonders K9 with the goal of making service dogs accessible to disabled individuals and helping pet parents train and build a strong relationship with their dogs. She offers knowledgeable pet care as well as training and support in obedience and behavior modification. I currently am attending school full time and have my own dog training business where I help clients train their pets in obedience and provide solutions to problem behaviors. During the day I have plenty of time to devote to pet care and making sure each pet gets the time and attention they deserve! I offer knowledgeable and experienced pet care in the clients home. I have a background in veterinary care and dog training and have devoted many hours to understanding dog’s body language in order to care for them better. I provide on leash walking and oversight in homes and backyards to make sure each pet is taken care of and gets the love and attention they need!

Jewels was wonderful. She did a meet and greet prior to the actual dog walking appointment. That really impressed me. She also faced numerous challenges with my condo complex and access. But she overcame them with no problems. She also kept me informed about everything with my dog. Cant say enough good about her. I highly recommend Jewel.

About: I’ve taken care of and watched dogs of all ages and sizes. I have trained and raised my own dog of 13 years. I have always loved animals, especially dogs! I am currently working full time but I am available most late afternoons and evenings, including the weekend! I am very trustworthy and have excellent time management skills. Communication in advance is key and I respond quickly to messages. My service will focus mostly on walking your dogs since the condo I live in doesn’t allow me to board pets with me, unfortunately. But I look forward to meeting and caring for your dogs on their daily walks!

About: I’m a lifelong pet owner and genuinely love spending time with dogs — playing, exploring, and getting them out for enrichment, not just a quick walk around the block. My own dog and I are regulars at sniff spots and the beach, and I know how much a good sniffy walk can do for a dog’s mood and energy. I have specific experience with reactive dogs, so I’m comfortable reading body language, managing triggers, and keeping walks calm and controlled. At home I’ve got two cats, and between my own pets and my 5 granddogs (a few of whom have physical disabilities), I’ve had a lot of practice adapting care to each animal’s individual needs. You’ll get a reliable, on-time sitter/walker who treats your dog like part of the pack, with photo and text updates along the way. A few highlights: • Experienced with reactive dogs — calm, attentive handling • Loves active outings: sniff spots, beach walks, play sessions • Comfortable with dogs who have physical disabilities or special needs Flexible, fully open schedule — available weekdays, evenings, and weekends for walks, drop-ins, or house sitting. I can accommodate last-minute requests and recurring bookings alike. Careful, security-conscious sitter. I’m always attentive to leashes, gates, and doors, keeping every pet secure and safe. I will treat them like my own.

About: With over 9 years of pet sitting experience, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for dogs of all sizes and breeds—from Shih Tzus to Pit Bulls—and I’ve been a dedicated animal lover my entire life. I’m passionate about making sure pets feel loved and safe, and I pride myself on being dependable, even on short notice. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding routines, or administering medications, I’ve got the skills and commitment to keep your pets happy and healthy. My goal is for you to have peace of mind that your pets will be well taken care of no matter where you are. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily and weekly routine since I’m currently in school for medical billing, which gives me a flexible schedule. I can easily balance my studies with part-time pet sitting, making sure I have time to give each pet the attention and care they need. It also helps me stay active and provides a great break from my coursework! When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I make sure to follow their routines as closely as possible to keep the pets comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions like administering medications or adhering to specific care preferences. I’m very respectful of the home, and I always ensure everything is clean and secure before I leave. For pets in my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment, offering plenty of space for relaxation, play, and comfort. I ensure they have access to all their essentials and, most importantly, lots of love and attention!

About: Just moved to the Sarasota, FL area. I have cared for pets many times and adopted two pets (Yorkie dog and a British Shorthair cat). I enjoy taking care of your pets so you can focus on what you’re doing away from the home. Currently, working part-time. So, I have plenty of time to fit into your routine. I am able to work between mornings and evenings each day of the week. Mid-day depends on the weekday schedule. I would like to drop-in daily vs. stay over or have your pet at my home. Living in an open concept home that is not big enough for many pets. Currently, the cat tolerates the Yorkie dog, so I like to keep the peace at home.

About: Thoughtful, personalized pet care for owners who want more than just a sitter. I provide a calm, attentive experience—with the added benefit of gentle, structured socialization for pets who enjoy canine companionship. Please note: Because I travel with my own two well-trained dogs, I only accept house sits where they are welcome. For social dogs, this is an added bonus, providing companionship, play, and a calm pack-like presence while you're away. If you're looking for more than just a sitter—someone who will truly engage, enrich, and nurture your pet while you're away—I'm here for you and your furry friend! I offer a unique pet sitting experience that goes beyond basic care. My friendly, well-mannered dogs often join me during house sits, providing safe, structured socialization and companionship for pets who thrive with other dogs. This can be especially beneficial for dogs who enjoy play, gain confidence from canine companionship, or simply feel more at ease with a calm social environment. I'm very intentional about energy, boundaries, and compatibility. My dogs are mature, well-socialized, and gentle, and I carefully assess each situation to ensure it's a positive, stress-free experience for everyone. Because of this, I only accept bookings where homeowners are comfortable welcoming my dogs into their home as well. What you can expect: • Thoughtful, attentive care tailored to your pet's personality • Enrichment through play, presence, and connection • Safe, structured canine companionship for social pups • A calm, grounded environment (never chaotic or overstimulating) • Regular picture and video updates so you feel at ease while you're away • And a CLEAN HOUSE when you come home! Because who wants chores after a vacation? 😊 My approach is rooted in respect—for your pet's unique temperament, your home, and your peace of mind. I keep my schedule intentionally limited during house sits so I can be fully present and provide a higher level of care, consistency, and connection. My background in animal care spans more than two decades, including hands-on experience working at a zoo and a children's museum, where I cared for animals of all sizes and temperaments. Over the years, I've developed a calm, intuitive approach that helps pets feel safe, understood, and genuinely at ease. I'd love to connect and see if we're a good fit. 🤍 I work from home on the weekdays, so I spend most of my time with the pets I stay with. Usually I'm up early, I enjoy a morning and afternoon walk, and a chill evening at home. I'm available for drop ins and dog walks any day of the week. Ask me about discounted visits when you refer a neighbor! I like taking the time for pets to know and feel completely comfortable around me. I use their treats, toys, and praise to build trust, and calm presence to meet shy pets. My approach with positive reinforcement training is to let animals know that I am listening to them, and give them opportunities to let me know what they are needing.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
