“Bethany is great! Reliable. Friendly. And when we met her she knew exactly who needed to like her most and snuggled right up to our dog! Who did love her ❤️🐶🐾 Would recommend 100%. And we will use Bethany again without hesitation!”
About: My family has never been without a dog since I’ve been born! I have been trusted to look after and play with my dogs and my friends/neighbors pets since I’ve been 12 years old, and now I’m doing it professionally. I have always loved animals (I’m also vegan) and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pets personality! I firmly believe there’s no such thing as too many photos of a pet ❤️ I’m currently working part time as a pickleball coach during the day and as a bartender at night (never longer than a 5 hour shift)! My pickleball schedule differs week to week, but when I have enough notice I can schedule my lessons around my pet care. I’m never on the court for longer than 3 hours. Any moment I’m not at work will be spent with your pup! I have experience taking my own dogs to a trainer and I’m very comfortable with crating your dog if needed, going through exercises together and going on walks. I love to take them for walks and play with them if they get the zoomies inside! I always keep them on a leash not only for their safety, but for everyone else’s.
“Patti was wonderful with my pup. He's often skittish around new people as we suspect he was abused before we adopted him but he warmed right up to Patti and was giving her kisses by the end of the visit. Patti was professional, kind, and patient with Nova and I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a trustworthy, experienced animal sitter.”

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. From mixed bred dogs to Alaskan Malamutes and cats. Your pet will cared for like they are my own!! I’ve slightly trained my dog when she was younger (Alaskan Malamute) but now she tells me what to do 😂. I’m currently on summer break as I work as a Substitute Para for Elementary schools. I’m also an actor trying to find a place in this world. I’d love to be able to work flexible enough for my dream career but also hang out with awesome animals 😊 I will follow exactly why the client asks of me. I can feed, walk, change litter boxes, hang out and brush if needed. I will try to earn the trust from the animal and hopefully they will let me play with them!

About: Hi! I’m 22 years old, happily married, and a devoted dog lover living in Lakewood Ranch. My two pups, Apollo and Zora, are my best friends, so I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your pets. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can provide plenty of attention, updates, and care throughout the day. 🐾❤️ Pet care is a big part of my daily life! As a work-from-home professional, I’m able to be around pets throughout the day and easily incorporate walks, playtime, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and lots of attention into my routine. I have two dogs of my own, Apollo and Zora, so caring for pets is already second nature to me. Whether it’s sticking to a specific schedule or providing extra cuddles and companionship, I make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while in my care. 🐾💕 I care for pets by focusing on consistency, comfort, and attention to their individual needs. In my home or a client’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions from the owner.
“Jill is amazing! I could not ask for a better person to trust with my energetic golden. Great communication; she sends photos, updates, and even tracks their walk. Pretzel loves her and I will continue to use her for all his needs.”

Both keep me active, focused, and used to fulfilling different people’s needs throughout the day. No matter how busy my week gets, I consistently try and make time to meet new pets and give them the attention they deserve! Since I care for pets in your home, I keep things simple and stick to their normal routines, feeding schedules, and walks so nothing feels out of place. About: Friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me for years to watch their pets for weeks at a time knowing I will care for them as if my own. I follow all requests for medications, feeding, walking, playtime, bedtime, etc. I give plenty of cuddles as well so your furbaby never notices you were away! I left a high stress job in corporate America due to a massive heart attack in 2020. I have doc appointments and pop in to see my baby, but I can work around those to spend time with your babies as needed! I always say to get on my calendar for any and all trips as you book them! My life's passion is animals and this is my way to work with them and have a low stress job...and you get the comfort of knowing your furbabies are in the best of hands with me! I follow your lead with how you want your pet cared for. If you want them walked, they will be walked. If you want them playing in the air conditioning, I will do that as well. I follow your feed schedule and clean up any and all potty messes as I go. I spend plenty of time on visits to show your pup lots of love as well. I will also bring in your mail, sweep, vacuum, and water plants if requested. I want the stay to appear as if you were never gone for you and your pets! I love to spoil all my regular furry buddies!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
