About: Since I was born there has always been at least 1 dog in my home. From senior dogs to puppies. Energetic dogs to couch potatoes. I’ve had them all! I am comfortable with and capable of taking care of dogs at all times of life! I’m currently not working, so I have plenty of time on my hands to take care of lots of furry friends! My schedule is open all day every day! I can let the dog(s) out in the yard if you have one as well as walk them. My eyes would be on them at all times and play time is promised!
“Shes been awesome. Comfortable with my dog which is no small thing for a young Belgian. Communicates well and has been a lifesaver as a regular with my firefighter schedule.”

About: I provide personalized care and attention to every pet. As a stay-at-home mom, I'm home much of the day and can provide plenty of supervision, companionship, and consistency. I'm comfortable caring for small to medium sized dogs of all ages and cats. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and at home while you're away. I’m currently a stay-at-home mom, so my availability is open. I am available for boarding at my home and I can also do drop-in visits and walks for dogs. I have a fenced yard that my own golden doodle uses. I can crate your dog as well if needed. They are allowed on furniture and beds if boarding at my house. I want them to feel comfortable and like they are at home.

About: Hi I’m Gracie: I’m a dental student & pet lover! I've taken care of pets for 15+ years and have grown to love both cats & dogs! Growing up I have experience with larger dog breeds such as Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds & Labradors in the dog department. I am experienced with walking, feeding, and following care instructions precisely. I currently have a cat of my own and a rescue dutch shepherd! I am currently a dental school student, so I am mostly available in the mornings/evenings and on the weekends to provide excellent care for your pets! I would love to visit your home and care for your pet so that they are most comfortable! I am organized and reliable with my own vehicle.

About: I’ve had pets my entire life. From mixed bred dogs to Alaskan Malamutes and cats. Your pet will cared for like they are my own!! I’ve slightly trained my dog when she was younger (Alaskan Malamute) but now she tells me what to do 😂. I’m currently on summer break as I work as a Substitute Para for Elementary schools. I’m also an actor trying to find a place in this world. I’d love to be able to work flexible enough for my dream career but also hang out with awesome animals 😊 I will follow exactly why the client asks of me. I can feed, walk, change litter boxes, hang out and brush if needed. I will try to earn the trust from the animal and hopefully they will let me play with them!
About: My family has never been without a dog since I’ve been born! I have been trusted to look after and play with my dogs and my friends/neighbors pets since I’ve been 12 years old, and now I’m doing it professionally. I have always loved animals (I’m also vegan) and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pets personality! I firmly believe there’s no such thing as too many photos of a pet ❤️ I have a very flexible schedule as I work part time as a pickleball coach, personal trainer and as a group fitness instructor! My pickleball schedule differs week to week, but when I have enough notice I can schedule my lessons around my pet care. I’m never on the court for longer than 3 hours. Any moment I’m not at work will be spent with your pup! I have experience taking my own dogs to a trainer and I’m very comfortable with crating your dog if needed, going through exercises together and going on walks. I love to take them for walks and play with them if they get the zoomies inside! I always keep them on a leash not only for their safety, but for everyone else’s.

“Amanda has been consistently walking Gizmo and has been nothing but reliable and patient. Gizmo can be a bit of a handful, but she manages him so well and always takes great care of him. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s with someone I trust. I feel very lucky to have found her on Rover!”

“Patti was wonderful with my pup. He's often skittish around new people as we suspect he was abused before we adopted him but he warmed right up to Patti and was giving her kisses by the end of the visit. Patti was professional, kind, and patient with Nova and I would 100% recommend her to anyone who needs a trustworthy, experienced animal sitter.”

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience caring for a dog with Addison’s disease and Arthritis. I’m comfortable following medication schedules, monitoring symptoms, and responding to changes in a dog’s health. I understand how important consistency and attention are for dogs with medical needs. I provide patient, attentive care and I treat every dog as if they were my own—ensuring they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I love dogs with all of my heart and will make sure they are taking well care of. I love playing with my dog anytime of the day to the point I get in trouble for playing with her😂. I have baby sat for many family members whether it’s house sitting or popping in for a quick walk. I love all dogs and sometimes give them more attention than those around me.
About: I have only had small dogs and puppy sat small dogs, but I love any size. Big or small, I love pampering them all bc ultimately, they're everyone's babies. I work remotely from home so I can watch dogs all day and night basically. I can walk dogs whenever as well. I'm pretty flexible in general and will know ahead of time when I'm not available to puppy sit. We have a big fenced in yard so they can run around and play in safely. I have 2 small dogs and 1 cat who minds her own business outside typically.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
