“Nancy was great. She gave me updates about my dog pictures and texts. If I called to check up on him, she was able to answer the phone she had toys and was very sweet. I will definitely be booking with her again.”

“My dog had only stayed with my FIL when we went away but he passed away this year and we were stressed not knowing who to leave him with. We interviewed multiple people and chose Lexi and her sweet family. She was so great at keeping in touch throughout our 2 week trip. He was so well taken care of and they went up and beyond to accommodate our schedule when we had traveling issues. Im certain he cant wait for our next adventure away where he can go stay and play. Lexi and her family are the best and we are thankful to have found them :)”
“Joan was incredible. From the moment we arrived Captain felt at home. She took him on walks. Sent us updates with pictures every few hours. We highly recommend her! We will definitely be booking her again.”

“I highly recommend Freddy and Talena! I was nervous about leaving Teddy with someone new, but he seemed to be very happy and content. They took great care of him and sent me photos which I could tell Ted was very comfortable with them.”

“Catherine was so sweet! She was very prompt in responding to my questions and flexible when my return flight was delayed. My dog had a wonderful time with her and will be visiting again soon!”

“Nicholas and his family took great care of Suzy! They sent frequent updates and pictures and gave us peace of mind she was safe and happy while we were away. Will definitely recommend and book again!”

“Linda was a wonderful sitter for my 1 year old Cockapoo. I was a little nervous about finding a sitter when we moved in September. Thanks to Rover and Linda I found a way to be comfortable about leaving my baby. After having a meet and greet with Linda, I was sure that I found the right person. I was happy when she advised me during the day and sent cute pictures. It made my weekend away so much better knowing my puppy was well taken care of.”

“I used Rover for the first time and was honestly a little skeptical because of past experiences. However, my original sitter had an emergency and recommended Rover, so I decided to give it a try. After reading countless reviews, I came across Alyssa and felt comfortable enough to book with her and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I met her, I felt at ease leaving my baby in her care. She was incredibly sweet, very communicative, and always responded promptly with pictures and videos whenever I checked in. What really stood out to me was how flexible and accommodating she was, especially since this was a last-minute booking she truly was a lifesaver. Most importantly, when I picked up my baby, she was so happy and comfortable. She didn’t seem anxious or like she was trying to rush out, which meant everything to me. I would absolutely book Alyssa again anytime I’m visiting Sarasota. Thank you so much, Alyssa!”

“Our Sunny always has a great time while we’re away. He’s young and we’re still working on training. We appreciate the willingness to continue with routines while he’s there. Excellent communication as well. We will continue using them as long as they’ll have him.”

“We are so excited to have found Cheryl! It's wonderful to know our dog will be in good hands when we have to leave her behind. Cheryl is knowledgeable, you can tell she has been working with dogs for long time. She always keeps you up to date with messages and plenty of pictures. It was obvious our dog had such a great time playing with her friend Bella. Search no more this is the one!”

“Rooster had a wonderful time! He was all happy wiggles and smiles when I picked him up. Super convenient location as well, and he enjoyed his time with Julie and Brian's awesome pup ☺️ Will use them next time!”
“Mirian did an amazing job taking care of my dog Luna while I was out of the country. She was attentive, reliable, and treated Luna like her own. I could tell my dog felt comfortable and happy the entire time. I appreciate the level of care she gave, and I would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for great pet care.”

“Our dog Margaux had the best time staying with Autumn and their dog Baylor. Autumn was a very thorough caretaker and sent us lots of pictures and videos while we were away. She gave us plenty of updates and our dog looked sad to leave them when we picked her up! We will definitely be contacting Autumn again for our future Rover needs.”

“Jackelyn was excellent. We did a visit prior to his stay. She was so warm and welcoming to both I and Russell. He took to her immediately. She allowed him to run freely in the house. I received pictures and updates daily. Jackelyn actually taught Russell to sit and lye down. We’re back together and he is kind of moping around. I’ve already talked about anther upcoming stay. I believe he’s found his second home. Thank you so much Jackelyn. 💕💕💕🐶🐩🐩”

“Robert & Christopher were very accommodating to our dog who is usually skittish. They kept us appraised and also sent pictures which clearly showed the dog in good nick. Robert & Christopher are very caring pet sitters and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them highly.”

“Kassi's stay with Diana was great. Our anxious dog immediately felt comfortable in Diana's home. We received updates and pictures! We definitely recommend Diana's home away from home!!”

“I had an amazing experience with this pet sitter! They took such great care of my pet and treated them like family. I received regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that my pet was happy, comfortable, and well loved throughout their stay. They were professional, reliable, kind, and attentive to every detail. I truly appreciated the extra care and genuine love they showed. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, and I will definitely be booking with them again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care Of Prince!”

“Elaine kept me informed with great communication and pics every day! My cat was in great hands and I’m sure that she enjoyed Elaine playing with her while I was away! Thank you Elaine!!”

“Linnea was great! We were gone for two weeks and I could always count on her being at our house at a specific time to look after our two cats. She took excellent care of them. I previously used another sitter from this site and when I would come home one of our cats (who is very loving but also extremely high strung) would be all wound up and "hyper". This time when we came home she was calm and relaxed and ready to snuggle. I will definitely be using Linnea again. She has become my number one choice.”

“Lisa is amazing! She went the extra mile to check on our boys when a heat wave hit while we were away. She made sure they were safe and sound. I am so grateful for her care of our fur babies!”

“Leticia was so wonderful yet again! We so appreciate having her come and look after our little pup. She always takes some of the best pictures and gives him so much love!”

About: 🐾 Your Pets Aren’t Just Pets — They’re Family! 🐾 Hi, I’m Sherri! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly believe every pet deserves the same love, attention, and care I give my own. I spent 4.5 years working at a veterinary hospital and boarding facility, where I gained hands-on experience caring for all types of animals with different personalities, needs, and temperaments. I specialize in caring for large breeds, having been a Great Dane owner for over 10 years. I understand the unique needs of giant breeds — from their big personalities and gentle hearts to their exercise, comfort, and care requirements. Large dogs hold a special place in my heart, and I’m confident providing the patience, handling, and attention they deserve. I have experience with extended house and pet sitting, and my own home is a mini animal family! I currently share my life with a Great Dane named Dunkin, a rescue pup named Potato, a Siamese cat named Yodel, a bird named Yoo-Hoo, and a tortoise named Sam. My animals are my babies and are involved in my everyday life. Many of my pets are rescues and require extra patience, understanding, and TLC — something I provide naturally. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, medication assistance, special care, or simply a loving companion while you’re away, I’m happy to customize my services to fit their needs. My goal is for your pets to feel safe, loved, and spoiled just like they would at home. I’ve been told I take the best pictures 📸, and I love keeping pet parents updated with adorable photos and fun moments so you can feel connected while you’re apart. I’m located in Ruskin, available most weekends, and would love the opportunity to meet your furry (or feathered!) family member. Let’s get walking! 🐶🐾 — Sherri My schedule is currently very flexible. I have a standing commitment on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for a local dog walk, but I am available outside of those hours to accommodate your pet care needs. I also offer late-night walks and visits for clients who work overnight shifts or have nontraditional schedules, and I'm happy to work with you to create a schedule that best fits you and your pet. I offer both overnight stays in your home and drop-in visits, depending on your pet's needs. We can discuss the best option during our meet-and-greet to ensure you're comfortable and your pet receives the highest level of care. I treat every animal as if they were my own, providing them with love, patience, and attentive care. I am also clean, neat, and organized, and I take pride in respecting your home by leaving it just as I found it.
About: I believe that pets are more than animals, they are also family. My priority is for them to be comfortable, healthy, well taken care of, and happy. I also have experience with giving medications such as oral, ear drops, and eye drops. Although this may sound a little random, I also speak Spanish for those who have pets that only understand that language. If your pet likes to sleep on the bed, I have no problem with that. I tend to enjoy the company anyway. I can house sit any day of the week/weekend. However, I do have another job that I go to: Monday-Friday. Other than that, I’m usually free. Before I go to work or anywhere, I make sure that I either walk my dogs, or at least take them outside the yard so they can do whatever they need to do. I also like to stay with them an hour or two before leaving, just because I like for them to have a little bit of cuddle or fun time. I also like to take them to the dog park to socialize them and for them to have their exercise. I usually try to keep them in a healthy diet but, if I do feed them human food, I always look up information to make sure if it’s healthy or not because, why should they miss out? They loves car rides as well, so I tend to bring them with me wherever they can. They’re my travel buddies. We also sometimes go chill at the beach, and whenever we do that, I always bring a bag of necessities such as toys, plenty of waters, their water bowls, their leash, and doggy bags. I sometimes bring a couple of their favorite treats or stop by a store to get something we can eat.
About: I'm available all day Monday and Tuesday most weeks to care for your pup while you're away. I've been a dog mom for the past year and I love it so much I wish I could get another! Now is not the right time for that so I figured, why not pet sit! I live next to a dog park where I take my puppy (he's 7 months) every day for at least 30minutes to an hour. I'll make sure to take lots of pictures and videos of your dog enjoying themselves on our walks along Freedom Parkway or while we're hanging out at Freedom Barkway, the dog park. Let me know all your dog's special needs and I will make sure to take care of them while you're away!

About: About Me: Your cat deserves more than just a food refill; they deserve a sitter who speaks their language. I am a Jackson Galaxy Certified Cat Behaviorist (since 2016) and a National Animal Control Officer (Level II) with over a decade of professional experience. Why I’m Different: I am the founder of a local non-profit cat rescue dedicated to saving and rehabilitating abandoned felines. My background isn't just in cuddling (though I love that, too!); it is rooted in deep behavioral science and safety. My Expertise Includes: Behavioral Insight: As a certified behaviorist, I understand subtle body language, anxiety triggers, and how to interact with "spicy," shy, or aggressive cats without causing stress. Medical Proficiency: Through my rescue work, I am highly experienced in administering oral medications, subcutaneous fluids, insulin, and managing post-surgical care. Safety & Security: My training as an Animal Control Officer means I am trained to handle emergencies calmly and effectively, ensuring your home and pet remain safe. I have dedicated my life to animal welfare, advocating for those who cannot speak for themselves. When you book with me, you are getting a professional who treats your cat with the same level of expertise and love that I give to the hundreds of rescues I’ve saved.
“I cannot thank Angelina enough for all her help this weekend. She was communicative, timely, and trustworthy. She followed all of my instructions and I felt confident that my cat was being cared for while I was away.”

“Rachael was wonderful with our 3 kitties while we were away for an entire week. She kept in contact with us and sent us pictures of each of them to let us know they were o.k. I felt very comfortable with Rachael and her family watching over our kitties. We would definitely book with her again!”

About: I have always had a love for animals! When I moved to Florida in 2005 is where I started my first job working at a private owned boarding and grooming facility. High school I was in FFA, I did some grooming and rabbit care! I worked at an animal hospital as a tech for two years recently. I enjoy building bonds with animals and giving them the care they deserve and more! Currently I am available Saturdays and Sundays. I am available for dog walks and drop in visits for potty breaks, play time, and/or feeding times! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my highest priorities. For that reason, all pets are under direct supervision whenever they are in my care, regardless of whether we are in your home or mine. Fresh water is always available, and all meals are supervised to ensure your pet eats safely and comfortably. For walks, I kindly request that dogs wear a properly fitted harness rather than a collar whenever possible. Harnesses provide added safety and better control, helping protect both your pet and me during our outings. To provide the best care possible, please let me know about any behavioral traits or special needs, including: - Temperament and personality - Comfort level with people and other animals - Any fears, anxieties, or triggers - Medical conditions or current medications. For the safety of all pets in my care, I also require that your pet’s rabies vaccination is current. Thank you for trusting me with your furry family member. I look forward to providing them with safe, loving, and attentive care while you’re away.

About: My first pet was a stray cat that had her litter of kittens on a paper plate that my mom and I left out for her to eat off of, imagine our surprise! Cats are one of my favorite animals on Earth!
About: From my earliest memories, our home was filled with multiple cats, dogs, birds, and even a horse. Today, my heart belongs to my gentle giant, Jinx, a 20lb Maine Coon who's taught me so much about the joy of feline companionship. I can't express how excited I am to get to know your precious cats, to learn their quirks and personalities, and to ensure they feel cherished and cared for during my visits. My boyfriend and I quit our corporate jobs to start our own home based business. This gives me plenty of flexibility to fit your schedule. My service is tailored to your cat's needs. I adhere to your feeding guidelines, providing fresh food and water as instructed, and clean kitty litter. Additionally, I'm available for plant watering and mail collection if needed.

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have experience caring for both dogs and cats. In addition to owning pets, I have pet sat for friends and family and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. My family is very pet-friendly, and my children love interacting with pets through playtime and affection while I provide all care and supervision. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I work from home and homeschool my children, which allows me to be available throughout the day for walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. Our family spends most of our time at home, providing pets with plenty of attention and supervision. When caring for pets in my home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel relaxed and at ease. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family while ensuring they are safe, happy, and well cared for during their stay.

“Fiorella and her family were great! She responded when I needed someone to take extra care of my puppy at the last minute. I can tell by all the photos she sent throughout the day that Smoke was so happy to be there with her family and other pups. She was responsive and made sure to give me updates regarding his current stomach issue. She was so attentive and noticed a small detail about my puppy that I forgot to mention about him. I felt comfortable all day with him there with her. I will be a returning customer! Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there, I'm JM! New to the Indy area and looking to give your pets the best care possible. I currently have two dogs and have had them for 10 years. Even though they are seniors, we stay very active with daily walks and trips to the dog park. My love for pets started at an early age when I adopted a cat at the age of seven. That started my lifelong love of pets. Since then I've raised two other dogs and cared for numerous pets. Friends often call on me to watch their dogs when they go out of town or take their dogs out for much needed outdoor time (whether that's smelling all the scents or just getting some exercise)! I have experience training dogs - I've trained three dogs including my current two. I work from home so I'm home most of the day. I also take classes, so I'm away from home 2-3 hrs M-Th. Classes vary I have a fenced backyard and there's a dog park in walking distance. Dogs will have free range to go outside when needed. I take my dogs out daily for walks and will offer the same service for dogs in my care. Dogs will have a separate feeding area and I have an extra room if pets are overwhelmed to relax. We have tons of toys and puzzles if your pets likes to stay busy.
“Andressa & Alex where the best sitters I’ve had in a long time. Welcoming from the beginning of connection. You can tell they really love dogs. My dogs have never been so tired and happy to see me. I think Bear and Tigger have found new sitters. Thank you guys and thank you for all the photos. Barbara Richardson”

I am trained in risk assessment, meaning I proactively identify hazards (loose screens, toxic plants, escape routes) before they become problems. I am also fully trained in pet CPR and First Aid. Building Trust: Trust is built through consistency. Running a non-profit organization requires impeccable ethics and reliability. Whether in my home or yours, I adhere to strict feeding and medication schedules. A Low-Stress Environment: Using my Jackson Galaxy certification, I prioritize the pet's emotional well-being. I don't force interaction; instead, I use positive reinforcement and body language cues to build a bond. I am experienced in maintaining a sterile, healthy environment, ensuring that food bowls, litter boxes, and living areas are kept to rescue-grade standards of cleanliness.
About: I grew up in a pet loving household with lots of experience with different animals. I have trained, house sat, walked and boarded pets for friends and family for years and now I’m looking forward to meeting new pet lovers and offering a hand for their fur babies! I’m currently only working Rover so, I am able to dedicate my whole day to taking care of your fur baby/babies. I am very flexible. When house sitting, I make sure to wake up at the requested walking time and feeding times. I will ensure your fur buddy gets ample play time, whether that’s in the house, backyard, or at the local dog park if allowed. When dog walking, I ensure that your doggie gets the full amount of time walking as requested. If your dog loves running, I’ll run with them. If your dog loves a slow, chill stroll with lots of sniffing, I’ll follow that pace. I’m also super attentive and will ensure your doggie does not eat things they shouldn’t be indulging in.

About: I have been a pet owner for over 20 years. I understand that our pets are our family. I go above and beyond so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. What a typical day looks like: Morning (7 AM - 11 AM): Brisk morning walks to kickstart the day, followed by refreshing water refills and a quick paw wipe-down. Mid-Day (11 AM - 3 PM): Perfect for high-energy pups! I offer lunch-break potty visits, structured neighborhood walks, and backyard playtime. Late Afternoon/Evening (3 PM - 7 PM): Winding down the day with a steady evening walk, light socialization, and plenty of belly rubs before dinner.Flexible WFH Gaps: Because I work from home, I can easily adapt my schedule to match your dog's exact routine and medication needs. The Home Environment: We live in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with very low traffic, making it ideal for stress-free, safe neighborhood walks. Outdoor Space: Our property features a dedicated yard perfect for secure, supervised outdoor playtime, sniffing, and leg stretching. Resident Pets: I have one sweet, elderly dog who loves to sleep and keeps entirely to themselves. Because of their senior status, I ensure all pet introductions are slow, controlled, and respectful of everyone's boundaries. Crate-Friendly House: We are a fully crate-friendly home. If your dog prefers or requires a crate for sleeping, feeding, or downtime, I can easily accommodate their routine to keep them feeling secure. Safety First: Your dog's well-being is my top priority. I never leave visiting pets unattended outdoors, and I maintain 100% focus on your pup during our entire time together.
About: I’ve been a pet owner my entire life and have watched neighbors pets quite often. I want to help pet owners in need of dog care. Dogs tend to flock to me whenever I interact with them and I enjoy taking my own dog on walks in my spare time. I’m currently working from home and have a flexible schedule during the week. I do not work on the weekends and can make myself more available during those days. I have a fenced back yard with gate and I am also located near a huge dog park which is walking distance from my home.
About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was 10 years old. We had lots of liters of boxers. I also have my cats! I’ve never grew up in a household that never had a pet. I’ve had the pleasure of taking care of numerous fur babies. I love meeting new animals and bonding with them. My schedule is open! If at anytime you’re in a crunch, I will do my best to work with you. I want to help anyone that is in need to tend to your fur babies. It is my duty to take care of your pets. I treat any dog as if they were my own. I understand the love that you have for your pets as they are your “fur babies”.I take watching your animals very seriously. I will stay in contact with you on a daily basis to give you the peace of mind that your fur baby is in great hands.

“Nicholas and his family took great care of Suzy! They sent frequent updates and pictures and gave us peace of mind she was safe and happy while we were away. Will definitely recommend and book again!”

Thank you so much for making him feel at home in your house. Ollie was tired but happy when he got home, so taking for playing with him! “Eve. There is so much to say. She is perfect in every way. A lot was happening in my life and she was steadfast in being there for me and for Olive Forever, the Greyhound. I needed additional days at the last minute and am so grateful that she was available, I would book her anytime for any reason if Olive needs someone to care for her when I cannot. Olive clearly fell in love with Eve.”
