“Lauren was fantastic with my boy. This is also Trunks first time using this app. Lauren made this whole thing so easy and helped me to not have to worry about my boy and his needs. Highly recommend”

“Victoria took amazing care of Luna while we were gone! We got detailed updates and so many photos. We could tell Luna was thriving. We definitely will be using her again!”

“This was the first time I have used Rover and even though my dog proved to be a little more zealous than I thought he would be I think Lindsey was great and kept me informed daily. I really appreciated her text because I felt my dog was in good hands and it made me more relaxed on my trip.”

“Glen was fantastic!!!! He went above and beyond making Lola feel happy, safe and secure. I would absolutely recommend Glen to anyone who wants their fur baby taken great care of. We will most definitely use Glen again! Wonderful experience!”

“Lizania did a wonderful job of taking care of our cats.they were more responsive to her than they have been to other sitters and were happy and healthy when we got home. I would use her again when we went away.”
“Linnea was great! We were gone for two weeks and I could always count on her being at our house at a specific time to look after our two cats. She took excellent care of them. I previously used another sitter from this site and when I would come home one of our cats (who is very loving but also extremely high strung) would be all wound up and "hyper". This time when we came home she was calm and relaxed and ready to snuggle. I will definitely be using Linnea again. She has become my number one choice.”

“Shayla was amazing with my fur-baby! She followed instructions as directed, communicated daily, provided prompt responses, and arrived on-time for scheduled check-ins and walks. For example, my dog is given multi-vitamins twice daily and Shayla followed those instructions. She was flexible with her schedule: as I needed to add check-in services and accommodated my last minute requests. She showed some much love and patience towards my fur-baby during my extended trip with lots of hugs, belly rubs and play, which added the comfort my fur-baby needed. I would highly recommend Shayla to anyone who is seeking someone who is truly passionate about caring for your pet, has excellent communication skills, and is extremely reliable. We look forward to booking Shayla again!!”

“Veronica will be our go-to pet sitter, hands-down. From the initial meeting, it was apparent we had selected a true pet lover. Thanks, Veronica, for the detailed feedback, promptness and delightful pics you sent in the status update. It makes our traveling days so much more relaxing to know they’re in loving hands.”

“Awesome! My cat hates everyone but loved Rachel! He even came out of hiding to sit with her. Made me feel so much better while I was away! She was prompt and kept me updated! Highly recommended.”

“Elaine kept me informed with great communication and pics every day! My cat was in great hands and I’m sure that she enjoyed Elaine playing with her while I was away! Thank you Elaine!!”

“Dana was a wonderful sitter for my two cats. She was reliable, flexible, and very personable. She made sure to update me regularly and send photos which I love. I would consider her again in the future and highly recommend to others looking for pet care!”

“Lisa was wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone looking for care for their pet! She asked to do a meet and greet (at no charge) ahead of time which I really appreciated - it was great to be able to explain instructions in person. She arrived on time, sent updates and was an overall pleasure to work with. Will definitely use again!”

“Jess was amazing with our dogs and even did extra to play with our kitties. She included so many pictures of our babies it was nice to see them being so happy while we were out of town. Would definitely recommend using her to watch your fur babies.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets since 2019 and gained professional experience working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies, kittens, and older dogs. I’m comfortable with medications, special diets, and individual care needs. I’ve also raised my own pets, including my current puppy and cats. I’m patient, attentive, and especially comfortable with anxious pets. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is fairly flexible, with school being my main set commitment. I’m available throughout the week for dog walks, drop-in visits, and check-ins, and I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and needs. I’ll communicate with you about availability ahead of time and make sure your pet gets the consistent care, attention, and companionship they deserve. I prioritize safety, trust, and following each pet’s normal routine. For drop-ins and walks, I carefully follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, and other needs. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure and will keep pets supervised throughout my visit. I’m also happy to provide updates and photos so owners know their pets are safe and doing well.
About: I have taken care of neighbors, friends and family's pets. I have had 10 pets in the past 35 years. I have trained 6 puppies. I have had 4 senior dogs. I am a retired teacher. Other than an occasional routine or exercise, I'm home. I have plenty of time to love and care for one of the most important member of your family. I have a fenced yard and can take on more than one dog from the same family. If your pet feels comfortable in a crate, I will set one up, otherwise I do not crate dogs. Dogs are welcome to sit on the furniture and I have dog stairs.
“Tristin is amazing. My dog Kairo loves her and enjoys going on walks with her. She has been our house sitter for about 2 months now and I have nothing but great things to say about her. Communication is amazing and you can tell she genuinely cares for him.”

“Danilyn was wonderful! She went above and beyond making sure my kitties were taken care of while I was away. She kept me updated throughout the visit and stayed to make sure my home was locked and secure while I did it from my phone. Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wimauma
This is the second time Dani has taken care of our cats. Our boy is diabetic and requires 2 daily feedings and then an insulin shot. She cleans the litter box and plays with them while she waits to be able to administer his insulin. She is so caring and sends so many photos. Thank you, Dani!

As always Ashley stepped up when we needed her. We were on our way out of town when I realized that I had made a mistake with the dates I had given her. Reached her right away and my mistake was corrected. Our boy came out to hiss at her, but also stayed visible during her time at the house. I live in the hopes that one day he’ll trust her enough to let her brush him. Her calm manor may win him over!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wimauma. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
