About: Hi! My name is Isabel and I truly love animals. I have several years of experience caring for pets for friends and family and I treat every dog like part of my own family. I provide a safe, calm and loving environment where your pet will feel comfortable and cared for. I enjoy walking, playing and giving dogs the attention they deserve. I always send photos and updates so you can feel relaxed while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness and comfort are always my priority. During the week I am available in the mornings and early afternoons (8 AM – 4:30 PM). I attend classes from 5:30 PM to 8:15 PM, but I am available again in the evenings after that if needed. On weekends I have more flexibility and can work mornings or afternoons. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. When I stay in a pet owner’s home, I follow their routines and instructions carefully to keep their pets relaxed and happy. I treat every pet with patience, love, and respect, just like they were my own.
“Kyle was awesome for us. She did numerous drop in visits over Christmas break. Was at the house when she said every time and stayed the full 30 minutes. She made sure they were outside playing the entire time too. We asked her while we were gone if she could make a few more visits than we had originally planned and she was more than willing to accommodate our needs. We were very greatful for her help and will definitely use her again in the future if she is available. The dogs loved her from the second she walked in. Couldn't be more pleased!”
“Whitney was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for the care of our fur babies. She gave us updates very often and was very good at communicating what was going on. She sent us some really great photos of them too. I felt relieved while we were out of town to have Whitney care for them. She genuinely cared for them too. I would recommend Whitney 10/10!”

“Emma came to take our dogs out while we were away for the day. She sent pics both times, one of which is my new favorite picture of Ollie. We will not hesitate to book Emma again.”

“Second time Amanda has looked after our 2 cats. She has always been extremely responsive, courteous and treats ours pets like they were her own. We are able to leave without worry they will be well cared for. Couldn’t recommend enough.”

“Rachel is super responsible and a great communicator who seems to care for my pets and animals in general. I am a repeat customer who loves the way Rachel is able to calmly handle my somewhat complicated assignment to pick up Riley the dog from a dog boarding place and bring Riley home so I can have her their when I arrive home from trips and also feed indie the cat. Recommended.”

“Stacey was wonderful and very reliable. She checked in on Monkey, made sure she had fresh food and water, sent photos, and even included an extra update when she noticed her sister nearby, which I appreciated. Her note written from Monkey’s point of view was so sweet and made me smile, for sure!!! She was on time, thoughtful, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely book with her again for Monkey, and the rest of my tribe!”

About: I’ve lived and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life, all being from shelters. As a vegan I believe in animal rights and welfare and will always treat your animals the same way I’d treat a human. I am starting the summer semester at USF but I think it’s important to stay active and I think this is a great way to. I’ve recently moved from Texas and I’m missing my babies so a little quality time with some puppies or cats would be great Scheduled feeding and potty breaks are welcome and playtime is always guaranteed. I always make sure that my pets have enough water so I will do the same for yours.
“Victoria was absolutely wonderful. I was so happy with the care she provided and I completely trust her with my dogs. From the very beginning she was professional, kind, and clearly experienced with pets. My dogs adore Victoria. They were happy, comfortable, and well taken care of the entire time. She followed all of our instructions carefully, kept them on their usual routine, and sent regular photo. That gave me such peace of mind while I was away. She’s reliable, attentive, and truly loves dogs. I will definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter. Thank you, Victoria!”

“Nakisha took very good care of my cats. She communicated with me numerous times. She also sent pictures so I knew they were doing well. She also allowed them time to sit out on the back porch. Very profesdional”

“Sherri was great with my 3 kitties. She went consistently at same time every day, sent daily communication, played with them and sent lots of great photos. I will definitely request Sherri when I need a future cat sitter.”

“We CANNOT say enough good things about Maya!! Maya took great care of our pups + did me a huge favor and took out dinner from our freezer when I had forgot! 😂 We absolutely LOVE how many extra pictures she sends, and how she plays fetch with both our pups every time she comes over!! We will be recommending Maya to our friends & will be/already have booked her again!”

“Leroy was a big help, when we brought our puppy home. Skye really enjoyed seeing him for her potty break every day, while I was at work. I would highly recommend him to anyone! And if I need a pet sitter again, he would be my first choice.”

“I recently had the pleasure of entrusting my two precious cats, including my newly adopted kitten, into the capable hands of Amber, a fantastic cat sitter. As a first-time River user who was admittedly anxious about leaving my fur babies, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Amber's dedication to the well-being of my cats was evident from the moment we first met. She took the time to understand their unique personalities and needs, which immediately put me at ease. It was clear that she genuinely cared about their happiness and comfort. Amber's reliability and professionalism were top-notch. She arrived punctually for each visit, and I could tell that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with my cats. I never had to worry about their safety or well-being, which allowed me to fully enjoy my time away. Amber is not just a cat sitter; she is a cat lover with a remarkable talent for understanding and caring for feline companions. Her thoughtful and loving approach to cat sitting exceeded my expectations, and I can't thank her enough for making my cats feel cherished in my absence. I wholeheartedly recommend Amber to anyone in need of a cat sitter who will treat their furry friends with the same level of love and care as if they were her own. My cats and I are incredibly grateful for her exceptional service!”

“This is the first time using Malik and he did not disappoint. He was in contact with me the entire time and sent pics to me while taking care of my dog. We will definitely be using Malik again.”

About: **We accept requests for dogs up to 50lbs for boarding** My husband Cory and I have had plenty of happy clients with both walking and dog sitting. We've had our own pup, Bean, for 3 years, and have been watching pups for years both back in the state of RI and through Rover in DC for six years. We're experienced with puppies as young as 3 months old to dogs as old as 18 years, so we have ample experience with dogs of all ages, including administering meds. We honestly love everything about dogs and watching them is a pure joy because our pup Bean loves friends! We're extremely patient and always go above and beyond with our clients' dogs -- we treat your dog like a part of the family. **In order to book, we would need to have a meet and greet with your pup and ours to ensure they get along and also to ensure you feel confident leaving your pup with us while you're away.** We can't wait to be your next dog sitter!! Both of us work from home full time, so we are available to let your pup out to play in our fenced back yard any time they want. Our dog Bean is a diva and he demands walks to poop, so you can expect your pup to get at least two mile-long walks per day with our dog and plenty of time in our back yard playing. Simply put, we would treat your dog like they're our own. Our pup is like our child and you can expect your dog to be treated the exact same when they're with us. We allow dogs on the furniture, in the bed, and supervise playtime. If you need a crate, we can provide one for your pup when they're here. We also provide pictures to update you about how your pup is doing and can provide potty report cards if you'd like!

Whitney is the best cat sitter. One of my boys has special medical needs that she does so well with. She keeps us updated with fun notes and photos each visit, and is mindful about letting us know when there is a change in bathroom patterns. I look forward to having her cat sit for us again!

Sherri has been absolutely amazing with my kitties! I asked her to see them last second and she quickly responded. She sends great pictures and plays with my kitties with the toys she brings, and they love it! I always feel at ease when she visits my kitties while I'm out of town. I highly recommend Sherri!!!

Nakisha was so nice and easy to work with! I reached out to her last minute on a holiday weekend and she was able to take the booking and schedule a meet-and-greet all within a short time frame. While we were gone, she updated us every day with pictures and description of our cat’s attitude/well being. I felt completely at ease with her handling the care of our cat and will definitely be using her from here on out!! Hiring Nakisha is a blessing for your pet care

Katherine was excellent! She was able to work us in at the last minute when our previous cat sitter fell through shortly before a trip. She was extremely communicative, accommodating of specific requests, stayed the full 30 minutes, engaged with our cat the whole time, and gave very detailed reports. She also went above and beyond by bringing in several packages that arrived while we were gone. We will absolutely be using Katherine again in the future!

Amanda has done check ins for my spicy cat, Rizzo, on many occasions. She has been very patient with my cat’s temperament and has been able to gain her trust. Her communication is always above expectation and she is always very detailed with her reports when checking in! :) I would highly recommend her!

We couldn’t be happier with our pet sitter! They were reliable, communicative, and genuinely caring with our pet. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Our pet was happy, well cared for, and clearly loved. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Progress Village. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
