About: My husband and I are avid pet lovers. I grew up volunteering and working with dogs and horses as a teenager. I worked as a ranch hand for half of a year, then transitioned to a position as a vet tech. I worked as a vet tech for dogs and cats for 3 years and decided to branch out into pet care services over the past two years. We have been able to help out numerous dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, and other animals. We are insured and bonded through the Pet Sitter Association. I have experience with special needs dogs and administering medication. Between my spouse and I, we are typically always home and can adjust our schedule as needed to fit potty breaks or medication. We have a very large and fully fenced backyard for the pets to run and play in. We have converted half of our house into a playroom for the dogs, and also offer private bedrooms for more elderly animals or cats and exotics. Your pet will feel right at home staying with us! We always supervise outdoor and indoor playtime. We always separate all pets for feedings as well. We have 3 dogs of our own, all of which are friendly and fully vaccinated. If your dog is needing some socializing or loves to play, they will love our pack! If they are more shy, we can keep our dogs separated to minimize stress. About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, including puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, dogs that need medication, and dogs with seizure disorders. I also have a dog child that is a mini Goldendoodle, Clover, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I work from home while going to school full time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule that lets me give pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to stick to their routine. I truly enjoy caring for animals, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I believe pets do best when they can stick to their normal routine. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walks to medications, crate time, playtime, and any other preferences you have to help them feel comfortable and at home.
About: I've been an avid pet lover for as long as I can remember. I attended UNC-Chapel Hill and earned my veterinarian medical technician degree. I specialize in senior dogs needing special care, food and medication. I can administer all medications oral, topical as well as injections. I have cared for the smallest to the largest of all breeds. Pet sitting is my full time job. My daily and weekly routines revolves around the dogs in my care. I never leave them alone more than 2hrs at a time and I only do that for doctors appointments. My dog Porkchop is a medical service animal and goes everywhere I go, except when I sit at someone else's house. I have a large fenced in backyard and I have a small service dog to keep your baby company. Your babies will be allowed on the furniture and the bed unless you don't want them too. I don't use kennels unless you want me to and you will have to provide the kennel. Your babies will have full access to my entire house. If I sit in your home I go by all of your rules for your baby. On drop in visits I will feed your pet and walk them as well as give plenty of love and play time. For walking visits I will give your baby a twenty minute walk and give them fresh water and a treat or two if they are allowed to have them.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - East Lake-Orient Park
Katie did a phenomenal job caring for our 2 cats for 2 weeks. I was nervous about leaving them for so long, but she put my mind at ease with her responsiveness, detailed updates, and proactive communication about issues (like when one cat was especially anxious and not eating). It is clear Katie loves cats, and I so appreciate that she took her time getting to know our kitties and interacting with them on every visit. Highly recommend!

Victoria was absolutely amazing! She was incredibly communicative, sent lots of updates and pictures. She was so sweet, thoughtful, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. I could tell she genuinely cared for my cat, and I will definitely be booking with her again. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
