“Excellent communication! She helped me out in a pinch and my girls absolutely loved her. She put me at so much ease as I hate leaving my girls behind. Lots of pictures and plenty of updates. I will absolutely book again!”

“I am very happy with the care that Ma'lisa gave to my handsome boy Rowdy. She was very punctual and handled him with love. I received updates and pictures letting me know how well he did during his walk and visits. I am defintiley booking more days!!”

“Lauren was great with Bear during our drop-ins! She was reliable, on time, and gave him tons of love and attention. Bear warmed up quickly—her sweet updates and photos showed him happy and getting plenty of playtime and cuddles. She followed his routines perfectly (feeding, potty breaks, extra affection when needed). Such a relief knowing he was in such caring hands. We’ll definitely book with her again—highly recommend!”

About: Caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, from beloved family pets to farm animals and reptiles, so I’m comfortable caring for a wide variety of personalities, sizes, and needs. My experience has taught me that every animal deserves patient, attentive, and individualized care. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or has a unique routine, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which allows me to provide dependable, attentive care throughout the day. My availability gives me the flexibility to accommodate your pet’s routine, provide timely potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship while you’re away. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, exercise, and care instructions, provide plenty of attention and affection, and ensure they have fresh water and a clean environment. I also respect my clients’ homes by keeping everything clean, secure, and exactly as I found it.
“Abby is warm and kind. She was very professional, caring and overall great with our two Boxers dogs who aren't the easiest with people. We would absolutely use her again!”

“Leroy was a big help, when we brought our puppy home. Skye really enjoyed seeing him for her potty break every day, while I was at work. I would highly recommend him to anyone! And if I need a pet sitter again, he would be my first choice.”

“Kim was absolutely amazing! My dog Abner immediate fell in love with her during the initial meet and greet, so I knew he was going to be in good hands. Kim made special visits to check on him to ensure he was ok, took him on talks, played with him, made sure he was well fed. She would send me pictures throughout her visits and I could easily tell he was in seven heaven with her. I would highly recommend Kim to take care of your doggy, honestly if I could give her more than 5 stars, she is definitely 10 stars!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Brandon Terrace Park
Rachel has been my regular cat sitter for 3 months now. She has play sessions with my super high energy cat 3 days a week while I'm at work. She's very good with him and my other cat who is a nervous scaredy cat. She is always kind and communicative. She's also flexible when I need to change dates or cancel a session (usually because I've called out or switched a shift) and she gives me plenty of advance warning if there's ever a day she won't be available. I recommend Rachel to anyone, but especially if you're in a situation like me where you need a regular sitter to come consistently.

Brittany took the job of looking out for our advanced- age cat at short notice, and while in her final weeks of pregnancy. She left great correspondence while we were traveling and gave me the piece of mind I did not think I would find. She is responsible, dependable, and great at communicating. We are very happy she accepted our job and we highly recommend her service.

Julianna was extremely reliable, and so compassionate caring for our cat while we were away! We were truly blown away by her attention to detail and her calm nature… She was willing to look out for a few specific things on our list without hesitation. We were so pleased and felt so comfortable knowing that Mochi was in good hands, and it allowed us to enjoy our getaway so much more. We will definitely be rebooking her soon for another weekend away! Highly, highly recommend.

Emmy is the best! I had her come play with my high energy cat 3 days a week for 2 months. She was so sweet to him and knew exactly how to keep him interested throughout the play session. She was always very communicative and friendly! She was also willing to accommodate any last minute changes, like when I picked up an extra shift at work and asked her to come for an extra day. Also the best pics I have of my cat are from Emmy now. She also went the extra mile to make my other cat, who is very anxious around new people, feel comfortable. She did her best to win my scaredy cat over, while making sure to respect her boundaries. I believe the ability to form a bond with an animal, in a way that they are comfortable with, is one of the most important traits that a pet sitter can have and Emmy excels at this! I promise you will not regret booking Emmy to care for your furbaby.

Jackie is amazing - we have trusted her in the past and we will continue to trust her with our animals in the future! She was able to come care for my babies on very short notice with such a quick turnaround, thank you so much for helping us again Jackie! 🩷

I felt very good about having her visit our house and caring for our cats from the very start. She asked lots of relevant questions about Hobbit and Foo, and they looked happy in every photo she sent with each visit. We'd definitely hire her again, and give a strong recommendation to friends.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brandon Terrace Park. On Rover:

- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
