“Julie did a great job! She took care of our 2 dogs and 1 cat without missing a drop in visit. She sent us great pictures of our pups and kitty so we knew they were doing well while we were away. All three of the pets were in a great mood when we got home and hadn't made a mess at all. Definitely recommend Julie for pet-care in the future!”

“Rachel did a wonderful job caring for our pets. She was prompt every morning and made sure our oldest cat received her medication along with some extra love and attention. She even managed to win over our youngest, who is usually very shy around new people. As first-time Rover users, this was a fantastic experience, and we couldn’t be happier with the care Rachel provided.”

“Ania is absolutely amazing. 20 out of 5 stara. My fur babies loved her so much and I felt so comfortable leaving them in her care. She was so communicative with every visit. This is my first time using rover and I was a little nervous at first but immediately felt so comfortable with the Ania and knew my babies were in great hands. Thank you so much Ania!”
“Abby is an amazing pet sitter for our two rambunctious Boxer dogs. She's calm, cool and collected. She's always professional and we plan to use Abby again and again as our pet sitter!”

“Leroy was a big help, when we brought our puppy home. Skye really enjoyed seeing him for her potty break every day, while I was at work. I would highly recommend him to anyone! And if I need a pet sitter again, he would be my first choice.”

“I’ve been working with Jennifer for about 3 months now and she has been amazing! I moved to FL from out of state and I’ve always worked from home, but now I’ve had to go back to the office full time which has been difficult. I’m a very anxious dog mom - I don’t usually let anyone take care of my fur family, but Jennifer gave me the reassurance and trust I needed to feel comfortable with my new situation. She’s great with communication, very understanding and completely reliable - a hard person to come by these days. I fully trust her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog or cat sitter! 10/10 ⭐️”

“Couldn't be happier ☺️ with Rebecca. Our princess is not an easy girl and I felt totally comfortable with Rebecca's ability to work well with her personality ? loved the photos and information provided. More than met my expectations and thank you rover for giving us Rebecca Maybe we can actually go away more often...”

“Whitney was absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond for the care of our fur babies. She gave us updates very often and was very good at communicating what was going on. She sent us some really great photos of them too. I felt relieved while we were out of town to have Whitney care for them. She genuinely cared for them too. I would recommend Whitney 10/10!”

“Lauren was phenomenal being able to accommodate my last minute needs to drop in on my dog while I was out and about. Her communication was great and she gave me updates while she was with Diesel. Highly recommend her services!”

“Emma came to take our dogs out while we were away for the day. She sent pics both times, one of which is my new favorite picture of Ollie. We will not hesitate to book Emma again.”

“I am very happy with the care that Ma'lisa gave to my handsome boy Rowdy. She was very punctual and handled him with love. I received updates and pictures letting me know how well he did during his walk and visits. I am defintiley booking more days!!”

“Kim has watched my cat several times before and she’s honestly the best. Very communicative, and she always sends great pictures of my fur baby. I’d give her more stars if it could.”

About: Hi! I’ve taken care of my family and friends dogs for several years! I love cats and dogs and the joy they bring to us humans. I’m currently working from the months of August to May (full-time). I usually have most holidays off. My schedule when I am working is from 5am-4pm. I usually like to go to my clients house and watch animals there. I’m pretty much comfortable as long as there is open communication between us.
“Neve took great care of my two cats while I was away for a work trip! We were able to set up a meet and greet before I left and my cats warmed up to her immediately. I was very comfortable leaving them in her care. Neve was great with communicating and sending tons of pictures during her visits!”

About: I am my neighborhood’s designated pet watcher and I also own three big dogs of my own. I have experience with very energetic dogs as well as dogs with anxiety. My dog Bear has epilepsy so unfortunately, I am used to giving medication and taking care of his special needs. I am a college student at Columbia University working a part-time remote job this summer with the US government. My schedule is super flexible. I wanted to find another job that I would always enjoy. I am currently working a part-time remote job at a consulting firm this summer. I am a rising junior in college with a car and loads of time. I am willing to drive just about anywhere and make sure your beloved pets are safe while you are away. I am very reliable, prompt and professional.
“Kyle was awesome for us. She did numerous drop in visits over Christmas break. Was at the house when she said every time and stayed the full 30 minutes. She made sure they were outside playing the entire time too. We asked her while we were gone if she could make a few more visits than we had originally planned and she was more than willing to accommodate our needs. We were very greatful for her help and will definitely use her again in the future if she is available. The dogs loved her from the second she walked in. Couldn't be more pleased!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who has grown up with pets my entire life with multiple cats and dogs over the years. Cats will always have a special place in my heart, but I truly appreciate animals of all kinds and love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I’ve been dog sitting for various families for over seven years and have experience caring for pets with different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. Whether your pet loves attention or just a calm and comforting presence, I’m happy to provide loving and dependable care while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets, and I’ll always treat them like family. My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, happy, and well cared for. You will get lots of photos from me 😊 I currently have a very open and flexible schedule while I take an additional college course and work toward switching career paths. This allows me to be available for daytime visits, potty breaks, walks, feedings, etc. depending on your pet’s needs. I’m happy to stop by to let dogs out during the day, stop in for food and water refills, or stay in your home while you’re away on trips so your pets can remain comfortable in their normal environment. I always aim to keep pets on their usual routine and provide plenty of attention and care while you’re gone.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Brandon
Whitney is the best cat sitter. One of my boys has special medical needs that she does so well with. She keeps us updated with fun notes and photos each visit, and is mindful about letting us know when there is a change in bathroom patterns. I look forward to having her cat sit for us again!

Rachel has been my regular cat sitter for 3 months now. She has play sessions with my super high energy cat 3 days a week while I'm at work. She's very good with him and my other cat who is a nervous scaredy cat. She is always kind and communicative. She's also flexible when I need to change dates or cancel a session (usually because I've called out or switched a shift) and she gives me plenty of advance warning if there's ever a day she won't be available. I recommend Rachel to anyone, but especially if you're in a situation like me where you need a regular sitter to come consistently.

Brittany took the job of looking out for our advanced- age cat at short notice, and while in her final weeks of pregnancy. She left great correspondence while we were traveling and gave me the piece of mind I did not think I would find. She is responsible, dependable, and great at communicating. We are very happy she accepted our job and we highly recommend her service.

Jackie was absolutely amazing with our babies! 🥹 She took such great care of them, kept us updated, and treated them like her own. We came home to very happy cats and we’re so thankful for all her help. You can really tell she genuinely cares for animals. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable pet sitter! 💕

Julianna was extremely reliable, and so compassionate caring for our cat while we were away! We were truly blown away by her attention to detail and her calm nature… She was willing to look out for a few specific things on our list without hesitation. We were so pleased and felt so comfortable knowing that Mochi was in good hands, and it allowed us to enjoy our getaway so much more. We will definitely be rebooking her soon for another weekend away! Highly, highly recommend.

Emmy is the best! I had her come play with my high energy cat 3 days a week for 2 months. She was so sweet to him and knew exactly how to keep him interested throughout the play session. She was always very communicative and friendly! She was also willing to accommodate any last minute changes, like when I picked up an extra shift at work and asked her to come for an extra day. Also the best pics I have of my cat are from Emmy now. She also went the extra mile to make my other cat, who is very anxious around new people, feel comfortable. She did her best to win my scaredy cat over, while making sure to respect her boundaries. I believe the ability to form a bond with an animal, in a way that they are comfortable with, is one of the most important traits that a pet sitter can have and Emmy excels at this! I promise you will not regret booking Emmy to care for your furbaby.

Toneshea took great care of my two cats while I was on vacation. She provided detailed updates, followed instructions, and took amazing pics of my fur babies. My cats were happy with Toneshea, and she did a wonderful job. Will book you again in the future! Thanks so much!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brandon. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
