“Driana was absolutely amazing the care she had for our pups while we were gone. She went above and beyond and took her time with them. Highly recommend and we will be booking with her again :)”

“Tifaney was incredibly responsive and attentive to our need for our fur babies. Thank you for sending us photos and taking care of them while we were out of town.”

“Tamara is the best pet sitter! Reliable, trustworthy, and excellent communication. Thank you for taking such good care of Pepper and Blizzard. The next time we are in need of a pet sitter, you are definitely my first choice. Thanks again Tamara😊”

“Sabrina was so kind and caring for all of our dogs, they loved her instantly. Thank you so much for taking care of them, we will 100% use you again in the near future❤️”

“Emma came to take our dogs out while we were away for the day. She sent pics both times, one of which is my new favorite picture of Ollie. We will not hesitate to book Emma again.”

“Christian has been amazing with my two dogs. He is very detailed oriented and makes sure that he checks all the boxes of care before he leaves for the day. My dogs have definitely taken to him. Christian is reliable and trustworthy, and I look forward to continually working with him.”

“Olivia was amazing! This was our first time using Rover. Our baby boy, Emerson Roy, has a traumatic past as a shelter rescue. He is extremely shy and nervous around new people and it takes him a long time to trust and recognize safe humans especially if mom and dad are not present. Olivia accommodated all of our requests and went by Emerson’s pace. She gave him space, while also talking to him and comforting him. Her communication was 10/10, she was always on time, extremely responsive, and gave us reassurance while we were out of state. We will continue to book her for our sitting needs. On top of her skills as a pet sitter, she is so warm, funny, personable, and caring. She asked all of the right questions at the meet and greet (including safety/emergency planning), and even left a pair of shoes and a sweatshirt so that Emmy could warm up to her scent a week before our booking time. Olivia went above and beyond to provide excellent care. We plan to frequently book her (even if we aren’t going out of town) so that Emmy gets even more used to her for whenever we go out of town next. We are so grateful! ♥️🐾 highly recommend!”

“Angela is very kind as I asked her to water my plants and bring in packages as well as taking care of my Ally. She did an amazing job. I would call her again if the future calls for a Rover sitter. Thank you, Brenda”

“Rosemary is a great sitter, very reliable and attentive. She took good care of our dogs for a weekend while we were gone. I’ll recommend her to anyone that needs help with their dogs. 100%”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life and have years of experience caring for my own pets as well as helping family and friends with theirs. I grew up in a home with four dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, sizes, and energy levels. Now, as the owner of two spoiled indoor rescue cats, I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feedings, medication, or simply extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll care for them like they’re my own. I’m dependable, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I typically work from 4:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., which gives me plenty of flexibility in the afternoons, evenings, weekends, and on my days off for drop-in visits and dog walks. I’m committed to being dependable and working around your pet’s routine whenever possible. Whether they need exercise, playtime, fresh food and water, or simply some extra love and attention while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m also available for cat drop-in visits and understand the importance of keeping cats comfortable by maintaining their normal routine. I’ll send photo updates and messages after every visit so you always know how they’re doing. I’m currently offering drop-in visits, dog walking, and cat care, so your pets can stay comfortable in the familiar surroundings of their own home. As a cat mom to two rescue cats and someone who grew up with four dogs, I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box or waste cleanup, playtime, and any other routines that help your pet feel secure. I understand that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I’ll treat both with the same care and respect I would my own. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind while you’re away.
“Sydney was an amazing sitter for my cat! She was very attentive to my cat’s needs and gave her lots of love. She sent me pictures of her meals, litter box, and cute playing photos everyday. I will definitely book with Sydney again! Thank you:)))”

“This was my first time using Rover but I’m glad to say it was a great experience. I was hesitant at first but after a meet and greet with Angie, I knew my fur babies would be in good hands. Angie was amazing! She worked so well with one of my dogs that doesn’t do well with strangers. Angie kept great communication which definitely helped give me peace of mind. I will definitely use Angie for future needs.”

Along with being the proud owner of a fun, energetic two-year-old Mini Australian Shepherd, I have several years of professional animal care experience working with both domestic and exotic animals. I work full-time Monday through Friday until 3:00 PM, so I'm available for evening walks, drop-in visits, and pet care after work. About: I am going to school to study veterinary medicine and I work at an animal hospital and I’ve been around animals and all the different situations they have. When I wake up I feed my dogs and let them out before I leave for work or school and spend time with them outside when I get home. I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible to keep them comfortable and stress-free. In my home or a client’s home, I make sure pets have fresh food and water, regular potty breaks or walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I follow all feeding instructions, medication schedules, and any special care needs provided by the owner. I also keep the environment clean and safe, monitor pets for any changes in behavior or health, and provide updates to owners so they feel confident their pets are well cared for
About: I believe pet sitting is more than just stopping by for a visit. Every pet is cared for with patience, attention, and the same love I would give my own. I provide personalized care based on each pet’s routine and personality, send regular photo and text updates so you always know how they’re doing, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind and make your pet feel right at home until you return. Pet care is a part of my daily routine, not just my work schedule. I plan my days around my clients’ visits to ensure every pet receives reliable, on-time care. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, evening feedings, or overnight stays, I maintain a consistent schedule so pets can stick to their normal routine. Caring for animals is my full commitment, and I take pride in being dependable for both pets and their owners. For drop-in visits and dog walks, I focus on keeping each pet’s routine as consistent as possible. During every visit, I make sure they have fresh water, are fed according to your instructions if needed, receive plenty of attention and affection, and have the opportunity to go potty and get some exercise. Dog walks are tailored to your dog’s energy level and comfort, while drop-in visits include playtime, companionship, and any other care you’ve requested. I also provide photo and text updates after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.

Angela took an amazing care of our two kitties while we were away. It was very reassuring to know that they were in good hands and it also definitely helped with the guilt of leaving them alone while we traveled. We’ll definitely reach out to Angela the next time we need someone to check on the cats and we strongly recommend her to anyone who’s looking for a reliable, trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Sydney. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
