About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and other pets my whole life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. I have two cats of my own. Ultimately, I’m a passionate animal lover and will treat your fur-baby with all the love and respect they deserve :) I’m currently in grad school and doing an externship, so I’ll mainly be available Monday-Thursday after 4pm, Fridays and weekends. However, feel free to reach out because my schedule can vary. I treat every client's home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. I follow your pet's routine closely with feeding, walks, litter care, and playtime while making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I'm also mindful of keeping your home tidy and sending updates while you're away. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so both pets and their owners feel at ease.

“Lauren surpassed our expectations in every way! She took great care of our dogs and kept in touch with updates. We were completely at ease, knowing they were in good hands. I will definitely use her again!”

“Sandra has a beautiful soul. She took such good care of my babies. She sent me pictures of them made into these lovely collages that I know took time and care to create. I rebooked her for my next trip already!”

“Monika stayed with our pups for weekend getaway. She took amazing care of them! She sent us lots of photos and kept us in the loop on their activities. We really appreciate her and look forward to having her stay again.”

“Jenna did a great job communicating while taking care of our dogs! It was clear she spent a lot of her time with them making sure they were comfortable while we were on vacation. Would definitely recommend her to dog sit!”

“Emma was amazing while we were away while she looked after our cat. Got lots of updates and pics of our boy and the house was perfectly looked after. Will definitely book again in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was was a preteen, helping family, friends, and neighbors! I am very patient and loving with all animals and treat them as if they are my own! I am lucky enough to create my own work schedule and work from home daily. I have plenty of spare time to care for your animal. Patience with your animals is my key to success. Every animal takes time to adjust to different circumstances. I was raised to leave places better than how I found them if I am responsible for your animal in your home.
“Rochelle was very communicative and friendly! She sent multiple photos through out her stay which was appreciated. She did exactly what was asked and took great care of our dog. Thank you Rochelle! :)”

“Rebecca was a delight. She arrived on time and sent many photos of our dog, Kita, during her stay. She frequently updated us on how Kita was doing while we were away and gave Kita lots of play time outside and I inside. Great experience. 10/10 Would book again with her!”

“Jennifer is great, the best pup sitter we’ve had so far. She was so caring and loving to our pup during her stay. She was in constant communication with photos and fun videos. We will definitely choose to book with her again. 10/10 recommend!”

“Amy provided us with a perfect week. First of all, she got along wonderfully with our daughters, met all our needs, and communicated with us remarkably well. Honestly, it was our first time using this system, and we were quite worried at the start, but thanks to Amy, we enjoyed a safe and enjoyable one-week vacation. We wish we could give her not just 5 stars, but 100 stars. Our endless thanks to her.”

“Abby did such a great job house-sitting with our dogs! She always takes great care of our two dogs; they love her! We will definitely be asking her to take care of our dogs again in the future! Thanks Abby!”

“This was the first time we used Rover and we are very pleased. Erin was fantastic. She was very responsible, and communicative and responded to our texts very quickly. She loves animals and immediately took to our dachshunds and they really liked her as well. The pups were great when we arrived home and our house looked like we never left. I would definitely use Erin again if need be and highly recommend her.”

About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I love being around them! I grew up with all sorts of pets, including an English bulldog and a golden retriever. I love any breed and any size pet. Whether it's going for a nature walk, playing outside, or simply giving them some extra love and attention, I enjoy making sure every pup feels happy, comfortable, and cared for. I'm currently working part-time in Brandon, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate a variety of pet-care needs. I'm happy to provide your pet with plenty attention and care while you're away. I want every pet I care for to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I'll always follow owner's instructions and keep their normal routine consistent. As well as respecting their home and their pet's needs.
About: From cats, dogs, chickens and ferrets, I’ve grown up around all animals and know how to care for their specific wants needs and personality types. I am a full time student but taking care of pets has been a normal part of my day. I am currently taking classes online so my schedule is very flexible. Whether it’s feeding or changing water before I head to class and letting a pet outside during a break it has become routine for me. In my home I make sure my animals food and water bowls are always clean. If they’ve made a mess for any reason that will be cleaned up as soon as possible. I also understand certain animals have physical needs or wants so cuddling or walking softly around the house is understandable.
The median cost per night for house sitting in Brandon is $50
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brandon
Lauren always takes great care of our 2 dogs. They are older and have allergies so they can be a lot of extra work sometimes but she is patient and loving towards them. I also appreciate how dependable she is, we have had her sit several times and it’s a huge plus, once she accepts the booking we know that she always keeps her appointment.

I couldn't be happier with Meah's cat-sitting service for my 2 fur babies. She showed so much patience with my cats, ensuring they were comfortable and cared for. Plus, she left everything clean and neat. I will definitely be hiring her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a great pet sitter!

Jasmine was nothing short of amazing! She took care of our two dogs and our house for three days while we were on vacation. She is a natural with animals, making our rescue dogs feel safe and secure. They loved her! On top of taking them on walks and playing with them, she also kept our plants alive during the heatwave and fed the multitude of wild birds who frequent our feeders. She even laundered the sheets on the bed where she slept. All and all, we found her to be trustworthy and reliable, just like one of the family. We're so lucky to have found her.

Emma was fantastic! We so greatly appreciate her communication, promptness, extra care, and attention to our dog, and are home! She was absolutely a pleasure to work with, and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend her! We will definitely be booking again!

This was our first time with Toneshea house-sitting our 3 dogs and everything went perfectly. She was proactive with initial questions & answers and setting up a meet & greet appointment when we first reached out. She arrived on time and prepared with questions, and was friendly while getting to know the dogs and our home. More proactive communications leading into the overnight visit and throughout her time here, with status updates and photos showing our dogs were well cared for and comfortable with her here. Zero issues or concerns and we look forward to establishing repeated visits with Toneshea.

Extremely reliable. Arrived exactly on time. She immediately got down with Charlie (who is recovering from surgery), and even though he is typically shy, he took to her right away. The pictures showed she took extra care. Plus her sitting with my boy at our home was necessaryfor him. And those 4 hours allowed me to run errands and such. Will use again.

Fantastic experience with this sitter! She stayed overnight with Jaxx and took great care of him, regular walks, fresh water, and awesome communication throughout. I really appreciated the photos and videos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. Jaxx was clearly well cared for. Would absolutely book with her again!

Christian was a lifesaver! We had a last-minute cancelation, but Christian took the stress out of the situation. Timely communication, professional, and SO good with our animals. I felt at peace knowing Christian was with our fur babies. We will DEFINITELY rebook next time we go out of town. Thank you, Christian!!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Brandon walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Brandon maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brandon choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Brandon. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 98% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
