About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—dogs, cats, bearded dragons, snakes, and just about every quirky pet a friend has trusted me with. I even interned at a veterinary office back in high school, which gave me early hands‑on experience with animal behavior and basic care. I provide individualized attention, plenty of playtime and cuddles, regular walkies for the pups, feeding, and medication administration when needed. As a naturally detail‑oriented person, I follow your care instructions closely so your pet’s routine stays consistent and comforting. Your pet will be in safe, attentive, loving hands every step of the way. 🏡 Boarding Routine For boarding, I match your pet’s normal schedule—feeding times, walk times, medication, bedtime routines, and any special habits they rely on. Since I work from home, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and will get plenty of companionship, playtime, and supervision. 🐾 Walkies & Drop-Ins During the week, I'm available for morning and evening walkies & drop-ins. On weekends, my schedule is fully flexible to match your needs. I keep a calm, low‑stress home with plenty of soft, cozy spots for pets to relax. I can separate pets for feeding if that’s part of their routine. The lawn is unfenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on‑leash to keep everyone safe. I make sure pets always have a calm, safe space to relax. Their comfort and safety come first. For Walkies & Drop-ins, I make sure your pet gets attention, potty breaks/walks, fresh water, and anything else they need to stay comfortable until you’re home.
About: I got my first cat at 10 years old and have had pets in the house ever since. I have two cats and a dog at home now. I am proficient in caring for other people's pets and routinely board and walk the dogs and cats of friends. Comfortable with all sizes of dogs for walking and playing. I can make any day work from 9am-7pm with some advanced notice. I am currently working part time and looking to add in some dog walks and check-ins. I will follow any rules or guideline you require when checking in on your pet. I am incredibly flexible when it comes to how you would like me to go about being in your home and working with your pet.
About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life since I was a baby. I've raised and cared for four family dogs over the years: Nala (Black Lab), Holly (Golden Retriever), and my current dogs, Lucy (Golden Retriever) and Millie (Black Goldendoodle). Through caring for my own dogs, as well as dogs for friends and neighbors, I've gained hands-on experience with feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, overnight care, cleaning up accidents, administering oral medications, and keeping dogs on their regular routines. I've cared for dogs of all ages, from young puppies to senior dogs, and have experience with potty training, anxious or shy dogs, high-energy pups, and large breeds. I pride myself on being dependable, patient, active, and incredibly affectionate. I truly love spending time with dogs, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy, comfortable pup. My goal is to care for every dog as if they were my own while giving pet parents peace of mind through reliable care, regular updates, and lots of love. I currently have a part time job and am a student at the University of South Florida so I have a pretty open schedule, and plenty of time to play with your pups! I work Tuesdays and Thursday mornings as well as every other weekend right now :) During every drop-in visit, my goal is to make your pet feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I'll follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks if requested, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I'm happy to administer oral medications, follow special feeding instructions, and care for pets with different energy levels and personalities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I'll treat them like they're my own. I'll also send regular photo and video updates so you can see how they're doing and have peace of mind while you're away. I want every visit to be a positive, stress-free experience for both you and your pet.

About: I am a lifelong dog lover and dog owner with experience caring for my own dog as well as four dogs in my hometown household. Since I was 14 years old, I've provided pet-sitting and dog-walking services for friends, family, and neighbors. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, companionship, maintaining daily routines, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. Being both a pet owner and caregiver has taught me the importance of patience, reliability, and attentive care, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am currently a college student at University of South Florida, and over summer all of my classes are online so I have plenty of free time to care for your pets! I live in a pet-friendly apartment community with a secure dog park and plenty of walking areas. I provide a safe, clean, and loving environment where pets receive lots of attention, exercise, and care. I closely follow each pet owner's instructions regarding feeding, medication, routines, and special needs. I am experienced with dogs of different sizes and personalities and will always prioritize your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness while they're in my care.
“Annalise was great! She took care of my cats while I was away and gave me peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates with photos after every visit. It was clear she genuinely cared about them and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well looked after.”

“I’m a Rover sitter myself and I also get anxious leaving my dogs in the care of others, but even sitters need sitters. Arianne was trustworthy and did a great job communicating. There’s nothing like peace of mind while on a week long vacation. Thanks Arianne!”

“Word can’t even begin to describe AJ, he’s not just my dog walker he is apart of our family. I work an extremely demanding job and he has become by baby Sophie’s best friend. The amount of care and detail he puts into every interaction and rover card is a blessing AJ has become a true blessing in Sophie and my life. He has redefined what it means to be a dog sitter. I don’t know what we would do with out him. When you hire AJ you don’t just haute a care giver you hire your own personal angel 💗”

About: I grew up in a family that brought the pets to the family functions. When someone showed up without their babies, we would ask about them like they were a missing piece we needed. We always had a dog and a cat in the household. My grandmother is a dog groomer, and I helped her out from a very young age, so I have seen every temperament, personality type, shape, and size you can think of, and I love them all! As soon as I moved out on my own, I felt something was missing, so I got a cat and then eventually a dog. I have raised them both since they were very young. I am also the go-to pet sitter for all of my friends because they know I want an excuse to hang out with their pets anyway! I care for them like they are family. I am currently looking for work after completing my master's degree, so I have plenty of free time to give your loved one while you are away! I always try to keep pets comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routine. During drop-in visits, I make sure they have fresh water, food if needed, potty breaks, playtime, attention, and plenty of affection based on their personality and comfort level. Safety is very important to me, so I pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, and any instructions provided by the owner. I also make sure pets are calm and settled before leaving. I know how important communication is, so I’ll always provide updates and photos so you can feel comfortable while you’re away.
“Jennifer was absolutely amazing. She watched my Abyssinian cat for five days and if you know anything about Abyssinians, they become very attached to their owners and have extreme anxiety when they’re separated. She came to our house every day and stayed for a half an hour, not just feeding and caring for Bella, but playing with her and giving her the social interaction she needed. I definitely recommend Jennifer and will be using her again. Thank you so much Jennifer for caring for our baby, Bella!”

“Marcus was great! He does great with teddy who can be a handful, is always communicative and sends lots of pictures and videos. He was even able to accommodate my last minute trip for the holiday with no problem! Have booked him before and will definitely be booking him again!”

“Bianca was a great sitter! Kind and communicative throughout the entire process and took good care of our fur baby :) Appreciated that she shared updates and pictures during each drop-in visit. Highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

“Great experience with Emma ! She was on time, reliable, and took great care of our two dogs and cat. She was even able to get our usually anxious dog comfortable enough to go outside, which meant a lot to us. Thank you”

About: I have taken care of pets since my childhood and my love for them has only grown. I promise to show love to your pet as if it is my own, i love all fur babies. I have one rescue of my own who turns 10 this year 🥺 I recently left my job in pet nutrition retail! I have 8 years experience working with both cats & dogs. & I have references! I recently left my job in pet nutrition retail to offer more availability! When I do overnights I stay present the whole time so no need to worry about your pet feeling alone :) I can do sittings in your home or mine (depending on if your pup is doggy friendly), I have a dog park in my complex, and i always make sure pups get all their walks & enrichment! About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. I am in college, I have classes 3 days a week, so I’m home quite a bit. I do not currently work so I’m typically free the remaining days. I volunteer/workout in my free time so I can be flexible! Just ask if a day/time works, I’ll do my best to accommodate! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
“Brooklyn was great! She was very communicative and let me know around what time she would be over to see the cats. When she met the cats, the cats ran over to meet her when normally they can be shy. She sent a lot of pictures for each visit which was much appreciated. Overall great cat sitter!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Our dogs were comfortable, happy, and well loved while we were away. Kathryn was dependable and made the whole experience stress-free for us. We’re so thankful for the flexibility she granted us and we would gladly book again!”

Love love love Marie!!! She was so attentive and sweet with my cat, Sushi. She made sure to keep me updated, sent me pictures, and tidy up the house in the smallest ways! You can tell she loves being with animals and that she knows exactly what she’s doing. We can’t wait to see her again!

Brooklyn was a great pet sitter! She followed all of my instructions to a T, checked in on my cat, and tried to play with her as much as she could. She took care to go above and beyond what was asked of her, which I really appreciated. I will definitely book with Brooklyn again if she is available the next time I am out of town!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
