About: As a college student with a lifetime of experience loving and caring for cats, along with over 100 hours volunteering with the Humane Society, I’m dependable, playful, and genuinely passionate about making sure every cat feels happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping your furry friend company, I’m always excited to spend time with your cat! I'm currently a full time college student with classes on Mondays and Wednesday (I am also a member of the USF Herd of Thunder Marching Band). I do not have classes on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays (except for band practice from 6-8). I would love to take care of your furry friend on my days off from school! I am free all day on Sundays! When stopping by your home for the first time, I approach all cats with their own needs first. I have owned cats my whole life and making sure they feel comfortable is important to me. I value a cats "waiting" period for getting used to me very seriously, as making a cat uncomfortable or scared is not my goal. Cat's need time, so waiting for them to approach me is the way to go! However, if your cat is always looking for someone to play with, I'm your person! I will pick up a toy right away and help them get those zoomies out!
About: Hey everyone! I have always loved animals of all varieties since a very little girl. I've had a lifetime of experience around animals & pride myself of giving them as much love & care as I can. I grew up in the UK where my dad owned a farm... I would spend my days taking care of our pets, farming duties etc. I have experience from cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, horses, bunnies, rats and everything in between... they were our family, not food! I even studied animal care for a while & got to work with many exotic animals, caring for Tigers, Cheetahs & other big cats, reptiles, amphibians, snakes and more. Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I am able to come walk/drop in on your pets when I get finished up at work after 6 p.m. if you have later shifts or need a good evening walk! Anessa is by far the most amazing sitter I’ve ever had. My cat Nunu warmed up to Anessa instantly by her calm demeanor. Anessa was incredibly patient and respectful of his boundaries. Instead of forcing interaction, she simply stood still and let him come to her on his own terms.She took such great care of him, followed all of my instructions carefully, made sure he was fed, and spent time playing with him. I also really appreciated all of the pictures and updates she sent throughout the visits. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was happy, comfortable, and being well cared for. From the moment we met Lauren we knew our fur babies were in good hands. Very friendly and engaging, listened to the different diets our cats have to be on and followed the instructions to the letter! We also have an anxious pup when the storms start and she administered her anxiety medication perfectly. Kept in touch with regular updates including photos every day. Cecilia was awesome! She came and did drop-in visits with our cat Millie, and got her to warm up to her right away! She sent awesome updates and lots of pics during our visit showing our girl getting lots of love and pets! She made our time away feel much better knowing she was in good hands!
