“Marcus was great! He does great with teddy who can be a handful, is always communicative and sends lots of pictures and videos. He was even able to accommodate my last minute trip for the holiday with no problem! Have booked him before and will definitely be booking him again!”

“Very polite and understanding of pets needs. From the meet and greet to actual sitting, my Dog got a big and he was more than understanding in his new diet. Always giving updates and feedback on his walks. Highly recommend.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life—dogs, cats, bearded dragons, snakes, and just about every quirky pet a friend has trusted me with. I even interned at a veterinary office back in high school, which gave me early hands‑on experience with animal behavior and basic care. I provide individualized attention, plenty of playtime and cuddles, regular walkies for the pups, feeding, and medication administration when needed. As a naturally detail‑oriented person, I follow your care instructions closely so your pet’s routine stays consistent and comforting. Your pet will be in safe, attentive, loving hands every step of the way. 🏡 Boarding Routine For boarding, I match your pet’s normal schedule—feeding times, walk times, medication, bedtime routines, and any special habits they rely on. Since I work from home, your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches and will get plenty of companionship, playtime, and supervision. 🐾 Walkies & Drop-Ins During the week, I'm available for morning and evening walkies & drop-ins. On weekends, my schedule is fully flexible to match your needs. I keep a calm, low‑stress home with plenty of soft, cozy spots for pets to relax. I can separate pets for feeding if that’s part of their routine. The lawn is unfenced, so all outdoor time is supervised and on‑leash to keep everyone safe. I make sure pets always have a calm, safe space to relax. Their comfort and safety come first. For Walkies & Drop-ins, I make sure your pet gets attention, potty breaks/walks, fresh water, and anything else they need to stay comfortable until you’re home.
“Annaliese did a wonderful job checking in on my baby. Even though I was on a cruise and unable to respond she sent pictures and updates each day. She did a great job!”

About: Hi! I’m Lindsey, and I’ve grown up around pets my whole life. Being around animals has always felt natural to me, and I love getting to know each pet’s personality. I’ve also volunteered walking dogs in the past, which gave me experience with a wide range of dogs, from small breeds to large dogs, and from playful puppies to slower-paced senior pups. I’m comfortable handling pets with different temperaments and energy levels, whether that’s taking a dog out for a walk, stopping by for a visit, or spending some time giving a cat attention and care. I also have experience giving medication. My own dog had diabetes, and I gave him daily insulin shots, so I understand how important it is to follow instructions carefully and make sure pets feel calm and safe during those moments. I’m reliable, attentive, and a big animal lover. I truly enjoy spending time with both dogs and cats and would treat your pet like my own. I’m always happy to adjust to whatever helps your pet feel comfortable, whether that’s sticking closely to their routine, giving them playtime and enrichment, or just keeping them company. Before caring for your pet, I like to learn about their routine, personality, and anything that helps them feel at ease. Every pet is different, and I want to make sure they have the best experience possible. I work full time during the week, but I love spending my free time caring for pets! I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting for both dogs and cats. On weekdays, my availability is usually early mornings (around 5:30–7:30 AM) and evenings (about 5:30–10 PM). On weekends, I’m more flexible and typically have greater availability for visits, walks, and house sitting. If you’re unsure whether your timing fits, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to see if we can make something work! I take safety and trust seriously when caring for pets. I always pay close attention to a pet’s behavior and environment to make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine closely and accommodate any special instructions, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, or preferred walking routes. I also make sure to keep owners updated with messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was little. I have a mischievous rescue chihuahua named Bolt and a sweet hearted chiweenie named Louie. They’ve been family members for over 7 years now. I have also volunteered at the SPCA taking care of their puppies and older dogs. I am currently working part time and am available to care for your animals most mornings and afternoons. I am usually available weekends as well! I live in a townhouse with plenty of room for animals with a park nearby. Most of the services I offer are drop ins, but I am very attentive to the details and instructions provided by my customers.
About: With a lifelong passion for animal welfare, I bring extensive, hands-on experience to pet care. Having personally raised two cats and two dogs from their earliest stages as kittens and puppies, I possess a deep, intuitive understanding of the unique developmental needs, patience, and specialized attention required at every life stage. Beyond my personal experience, I have long served as the go-to pet sitter for my family and friends, building a reputation for reliability, compassion, and unwavering dedication. Whether navigating complex feeding routines, managing energy levels, or providing gentle, nurturing companionship, I treat every animal as if they were my own. My approach combines professional diligence with the heartfelt devotion that comes from a genuine love for animals, ensuring that every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and truly cherished while their owners are away. As an active online student, my schedule is naturally flexible, allowing me to provide high-quality, on-demand pet care. I specialize in one-time, high-attention visits that offer families total peace of mind when their regular routines are interrupted. Because my academic workload shifts weekly, I am excellent at communicating my upcoming openings and maintaining a reliable, professional standard for every single visit. I am eager to provide tailored, loving care for your pets whenever your needs arise. My care philosophy is centered on consistency, safety, and individual connection. Whether I am in my own home or yours, I maintain a structured, calm environment that prioritizes the pet's well-being above all else. For Client-Home Visits: I prioritize keeping the pet’s routine exactly as they know it. Before any visit, I conduct a thorough 'pet briefing' to understand their unique personality, favorite play styles, specific dietary needs, and any health protocols. I treat your home and your pet with the utmost respect, ensuring that I am not just 'checking in,' but providing meaningful enrichment and companionship. With experience raising my own pets from infancy, I am highly attentive to environmental hazards and subtle changes in behavior. I am dedicated to maintaining a clean, secure space and providing undivided attention throughout my time with your pet.My goal is to provide a seamless experience where your pet feels safe, engaged, and truly loaded even if it is just for a single, high-quality visit.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Jennifer went above and beyond—handling our dog’s medication during thunderstorms and fireworks with calm, attentive care. Jennifer was so in tune with our dog’s needs, even noticing an issue and handling it quickly and thoughtfully. We loved getting regular updates and came home to a happy, relaxed pup. Truly grateful to have found someone so trustworthy and kind. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. I am in college, I have classes 3 days a week, so I’m home quite a bit. I do not currently work so I’m typically free the remaining days. I volunteer/workout in my free time so I can be flexible! Just ask if a day/time works, I’ll do my best to accommodate! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
About: I love dogs and have always loved them being that I grew up with many beautiful dogs. I’m very good at analyzing their behavior, so if there was a situation to arise I would know how to de-escalate it almost immediately. My availability is open. The money is not the main focus to me my main engagement is your dog. Walking / exercising your dog is no problem. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs. Keeping your dog at his/her peak of performance is very important as well as supporting, nurturing, and providing the love needed. I have excellent social and communication skills and I enjoy being outside. I even reward dogs with treats if allowed. Taking care of your dog would be an honor.
“Bianca was a great sitter! Kind and communicative throughout the entire process and took good care of our fur baby :) Appreciated that she shared updates and pictures during each drop-in visit. Highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs!”

“AJ was very kind to accommodate a same day request. He is communicative, punctual, and took the time to write a thorough report card with lots of pictures. Thank you for taking such great care of our pup!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter! Our dogs were comfortable, happy, and well loved while we were away. Kathryn was dependable and made the whole experience stress-free for us. We’re so thankful for the flexibility she granted us and we would gladly book again!”

About: I’ve had cats and taken care of them since I was 7. Just recently I switched up and got a dog and she brings so much joy ! I am an animal lover and believe that pets really do make a positive change in your life! From scooping cat litter and picking up after a dog, to making sure pets feel loved, I can provide your pets the love they need while you’re away Currently I am in graduate school pursuing my masters degree, so having a job can be difficult with my schedule. Luckily for the days I am available, it’s the perfect time to visit and care for your furry friend! Depending on the type of dog, they will get plenty of outdoor time since that is so important! If your dog has specific procedures inside the home that need to be done such as putting them in a kennel, that can be done
“This was our first time leaving our dog, Birdie, at home while we went away for 3 days. Natalia was quick to respond and was available over the 4th of July weekend to drop in 2-3 times a day for Birdie. Birdie is nervous with new people, especially when she is not with us, and can sometimes pee from nerves. Birdie had multiple accidents when Natalia visited, but she cleaned them up without a problem. She even went as far as throwing her blankets in the wash/ dryer. To top it all off, she folded the laundry that was in our dryer!! She had great communication the whole time and made to sure to include lots of photos. I was very nervous leaving our girl alone for these days, but I am so glad we found Natalia! We will definitely be using her again!”

“Ashlee was an amazing cat sitter! She was reliable, attentive, and clearly cared about my cats as if they were her own. She provided great updates, followed all instructions carefully, and gave me real peace of mind while I was away. My cats were happy, well cared for, and comfortable when I returned. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Ashlee again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.”

Annalise was great! She took care of my cats while I was away and gave me peace of mind. She was reliable, communicative, and sent thoughtful updates with photos after every visit. It was clear she genuinely cared about them and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well looked after.

Madison is a phenomenal sitter. My cat needs insulin twice per day and can be fearful of strangers administering it, but Madison really went above and beyond to ensure that her needs were met. Her detailed updates and prompt communication made me feel assured that my cat was being well taken care of. I highly recommend her!
Madeline was absolutely wonderful with my two orange cats, Wall-E and Eva. She sent photos and updates every visit, followed all my detailed instructions perfectly, and I could tell she genuinely cared about their wellbeing. I was traveling for family emergency for 7 days and had complete peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. She’s reliable, communicative, and clearly loves animals. Definitely going to book her for my next trip. Highly recommend!

Chloee was the best! Not only did she follow our instructions, she went above and beyond in caring for our cats. They aren’t the easiest cats to deal with and she was extremely patient and helpful. She was also extremely communicative with us, sending multiple pictures and videos every day. I highly recommend Chloee! In the future I really hope she’s still pet sitting because she will be my first choice!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
