“My boys had such a blast while they were there, I could tell they were tired when I picked them up, and they were already trying to go back in when we were leaving!! It’s always so hard to find a sitter who sends you thoughtful updates and cute pictures, but I am so happy with how their visit went. Thank you so much to Qian and her family for taking care of our babies!!”

“Haley was awesome..... she was ready and waiting for me when I dropped off the dogs and picked them up. She gave me all kinds of feedback on the dogs and it looks like they got PLENTY of exercise... the pictures and videos were great! My dogs are going back to her this evening and through the weekend and I'm very they will be with someone that I trust and know she will take care of my pups.”

“She’s absolutely amazing. My babies loved her! She’s very informative and caring. I love that she kept me posted on their wellbeing and progress throughout the day while I was out working. Definitely recommend her as future use of service.”

“Ana was very sweet to our pup, gave him lots of love & exercise. Our pup came home happy! She was very flexible and accommodating with time. Lots of pictures and updates during his stay.”

“Trevor did an outstanding job looking after my puppy! He not only kept me updated with awesome photos and regular updates throughout the day but also ensured my pup returned to me squeaky clean! My puppy was worn out and seemed to have the best day with Trevor. I couldn't be more pleased with his exceptional care!”

“Iyorima was amazing! Jin loved her and got used to her fairly quickly. I get paranoid pretty easily and she understood and sent me photos and text messages about Jin to calm me down. Jin was a happy boy when he was there and that’s all I care about.”

About: I’ve always loved dogs and have been exposed to all types since a young age. I’ve gained experience from working at dog daycares and neighbor in home boarding . I’ll be sure to treat your pup like family ❤️ I’m a stay at home mom with one child that is available every day of the week all hours of the day and night. 😁 I live in a pet friendly apartment that has plenty of space for your pup and a outdoor walking path for potty time and exercise . Also if your pet needs to be in a cage I also provide a cage.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for over 2 years, but truly my love for animals started as a kid. Neighbors, friends, and family have always trusted me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior pets, and even pets with special needs. My goal is always to make your furry family member feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I’m available on weekends and weekdays. perfect for boarding, walks, or drop-in visits. I love making time every day to care for animals, so your pets will always get the attention they deserve. Whether in my home or yours, I make sure every pet is treated like family, with lots of love, play, and cuddles.
“Cheyanne is awesome. I have used her repeatedly and she is definitely my first choice to care for my little man when I am in her area. She even took him to a local park on his last visit! I highly recommend her services!”
“Glad to have our first experience with Rover with them. They sent me updates and were really understanding that my dog is not yet fully house trained. Sherlock was worn out when we took him back, probably from playing with the other dogs at their home. Our dog was evidently happy with his stay. We are very satisfied!”

“Laura is the best. Our boy Jimmy loves her and she is a fantastic communicator. I am so glad she is so close and able to allow us to work knowing our boy is well cared for.”

About: Mainly taking care of larger dogs, I also take care of medium and smaller dogs, along with the occasional cat. I wash them if needed, feed them with whichever brand is appropriate for them and make sure they feel loved the entire time they are in my care. Even though I am going to school full time, I will make time to show my dogs all the love in the world. All dogs deserve snuggles and kisses. I have two dogs, one small and one medium, that are friendly and can keep your baby company. They can be caged per request. Walking is done every few hours.
“J'akeecia was great with leidy. Sent pics and answered right away! Leidy had a good time playing with her dog and when we got home she went right to bed after her walk. 10/10 would recommend! Ill definitely keep her for next time we need a sitter!”

“Hillary was amazing with my semi-disabled senior dog! She was so caring and sweet with him, made sure he was cleaned up even tho he got himself into a mess, followed any special instructions and I could tell he really loved her because he rarely greets or says goodbye to people lol. He is usually pretty aloof with most adults and ignores them trying to pet him but he actually went to her for cuddles to say goodbye at the end of the night-that is a first! It made me feel at ease knowing he was so well cared for.”
About: i have always loved dogs and animals all my life, it will be my pleasure to care for yours. I work from home so they will have 24 hours supervision, and I live in a single family home with a backyard for play time. I am currently working from home full time so I plenty of time to watch and care for your babies like they are mine :) I care for all pets like they are my own, I always go above and beyond to make sure they are comfortable and cared for
“Carley is simply the best. The way she treats my little dog like her own really warms my heart and gives me so much peace. She attends to the dogs all day long and is very vigilant. I’m happy to have found someone I can count on ❤️”

“Estefany was great, my dog was at her home for a daycare, and she took good care of him. She is very responsive, kept me updated and sent pictures throughout the stay. I recommend her 100%. Thank you ☺️”

HALEY was the purrrfect solution while we were between hotels and on our way to Adventure Island! She lives within 2 miles of Bucsh Gardens and AI, making drop off and pick up, super close and convenient. Her dog didn't mind tiny little Pips at all! I would definitely rebook with Haley next time we hit the parks!!

Victoria kept me updated from start to finish with the cutest photos which made me feel at ease because I’m not used to leaving her with anyone else besides my mom. She was friendly and I could see that she really loves animals and knows what she’s doing. I will definitely recommend her to my friends and coworkers and use her again in the future! Thank you again Victoria!!

We had Stephanie watch our small dog, Keelie, for several hours while we visited the Aquarium in Tampa. She communicated well though Rover, asking questions about any special needs for our dog. She did a wonderful job, meeting us at the door and again asks if there were any special instructions for taking care of Keelie. She only had Keelie for about 3.5 hours. she took her on two walks and gave her some treats. Overall, we were very happy with her care, and she was fairly conveniently located in the Tampa area. I would definitely use her again.

Leidy has separation anxiety when we drop her off places but she followed Iyorima right up the stairs no issue! It was amazing! Iyorima definitely has a gift. Leidy spent her time there cuddled up and Iyorima made sure we were informed on how she was doing. 10/10 would recommend!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your University commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
