“Will definitely reach out to her again soon when I need help with my boy! Aliyah was quick to respond and I needed someone the day of and she was able to make it happen. She made this whole process really easy for me so I really appreciated that”

“Excellent and thoughtful care for my pup who needed some special treatment while recovering from an injury. Amanda really was attentive and engaged - they seemed to enjoy each other's company which made it a much more rewarding experience to book. I hope to contact Amanda in the future, I'm sure my dog will be very happy that I did!”

About: I personally own three cats and I have volunteered at the animal shelter and worked with cats and dogs! I’ve had animals my entire life, and am very comfortable with them. Please be aware that I am 5’2” so if your dog is larger than I am, I will not be able to work with you. Can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I’m not currently working full time, so I have lots of flexibility to take care of animals! My only completely unavailable time is Friday evenings. Mornings are very open and I can pet sit as long as there’s advanced notice. Due to three cats, I do not offer board in my house but am willing to go to yours which will make your animal feel calmer and safer in their own environment anyways.
“Bethany is great to work with! She was very attentive to our animals needs and seemed to get along really well with them! We’d love to have her as a sitter in the future.”

About: I have been taking care of animals, mainly dogs, since I was 11 years old. I have always loved looking after pets, whether it be my family or friends, or the neighbor across the street and I will love taking care of yours as well. I currently have a part-time job and will work around it as needed to care for your pets. My own pets' routines are a part of my daily routine. I will make sure your pets are taken care of as if they were my own. I will make sure that they are happy, cared for and exercised as needed.
About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, including puppies, senior dogs, anxious pets, dogs that need medication, and dogs with seizure disorders. I also have a dog child that is a mini Goldendoodle, Clover, so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they get lots of love, attention, and care while you’re away. I work from home while going to school full time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule that lets me give pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether it’s potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication, or just keeping them company, I’m happy to stick to their routine. I truly enjoy caring for animals, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I believe pets do best when they can stick to their normal routine. Whether I’m caring for them in my home or yours, I’ll follow your instructions closely, from feeding and walks to medications, crate time, playtime, and any other preferences you have to help them feel comfortable and at home.

Through years of working with him he's now a much more confident walker. So please believe me when I say I love dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I did recently start working in the area. I'm still very new to the area. I can usually accommodate upon requests. More so if scheduled in advance. Within my over 5 yrs experience caring for puppers I have cared for them at both my house and at my client's house. I have always maintained a clean environment, personalized care in that I will maintain your rules concerning your dog. Above ALL else I MUST maintain trust with my clients. If you or your dog don't trust me then I can't do my job and worse yet it's usually the dog that suffers in the long run.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Morris Oak Ridge
Kailia was so nice and flexible with her schedule. We made our booking last minute and made a further last minute reservation change. Kailia stepped up and really made our time away from home feel special as we knew we had someone truly reliable to take care of our girl.

Jennifer gave me complete peace of mind while I was out of state for my cat! She gave awesome updates in rover, spent time trying to get to know my very shy kitty, and left my apartment very clean. Great communication and super sweet person. Couldn’t recommend more

Katie did a phenomenal job caring for our 2 cats for 2 weeks. I was nervous about leaving them for so long, but she put my mind at ease with her responsiveness, detailed updates, and proactive communication about issues (like when one cat was especially anxious and not eating). It is clear Katie loves cats, and I so appreciate that she took her time getting to know our kitties and interacting with them on every visit. Highly recommend!

We are truly grateful for Hillary's wonderful care of our cats. She was so attentive to every detail we asked for and quickly gained their trust. We genuinely appreciate her helping us feel at ease while we were away. Hillary also shared very helpful information every single day.

Shelby is an incredible sitter! Shelby took amazing care of our cats, sending pictures of the cats eating, playing, as well as sending pictures of clean litter too! Shelby is also extremely timely and communicative, making it a stress free time away from our cats! We’ll definitely be booking through Shelby in the future so long as they are available!

Booked Jordan for a couple drip-in visits and she did a fantastic job looking after our cat! She left very detailed notes, took a bunch of great photos, and asked plenty of clarifying questions that made our brief vacation very stress free. Would definitely recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
