I’ve been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, from childhood adventures bringing home stray dogs to years of raising and training my own. Over time, I’ve learned how to meet pets where they are; whether that means patient guidance for a curious puppy or gentle support for a senior dog who moves a little slower but still loves to be loved. I’m especially experienced in senior care after spending nearly 9 wonderful years with our 14 year old boy, Zeke. Supporting him through his golden years taught me the importance of attentiveness, comfort, and encouragement — every tail wag was worth the extra care. When it comes to training, I’m the designated puppy whisperer in our home. I’ve always taken the lead on obedience work and new-dog transitions, with a calm, consistent approach that builds trust and good habits. Above all, I believe pets thrive with love, patience, and positive energy — and that’s exactly what every animal in my care will receive.

Lizzie comes home happy, healthy, and unstressed when she stays with Delaney and Alex. They are gentle and patient with Lizzie, who is a senior dog. I appreciate all the pictures and videos Delaney sends me of Lizzie while I am traveling. Lizzie has stayed with them twice for a total of about 3 weeks and we have had no problems. I would not hesitate to board Lizzie with them again.

I work from home full-time so daily walks, playtime, and cuddles are already part of our routine. Caring for pets feels second nature. Our late pup, Zeke, taught us how much consistency and love matter, so every pet in our care gets that same steady, gentle attention.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priority. We have a fenced backyard for safe play, and I’m attentive and present throughout the day. A crate is available if needed, and our playful Frenchie, Fig, loves keeping other dogs entertained. Every pet is treated with care, patience, and love.

A typical day
Whether we’re playing fetch in the yard, exploring one of the nearby parks, or relaxing during a side-yard picnic, I make sure every pet feels included and loved. If your dog enjoys the dog park or even the beach, we’re just minutes away from both! My wife is the playful half of the duo (she’s always up for a game of chase, fetch, or hide-and-seek) while I bring the calm, nurturing energy. Together, we make sure your pet has the best of both worlds: fun, structure, and plenty of love.

- I always want your pet to feel safe, seen, and right at home while they’re with me. It really helps to know what their normal day looks like. Things like when they eat, how they like to play, and what helps them wind down. Let me know if they’re crate-trained, how they do with cats or other dogs, and if they have any sensitivities around food, toys, or bones. I also like to match your approach to corrections so there’s consistency and comfort. The more I know about what makes them happy, the more love and calm I can bring to their stay.
