“Alyssa is great. My pets take to her very well. She really engages and interacts with my fur babies and ensures she’s mindful to accommodate any requested needs for either of my cats. She’s punctual reliable and communicates well. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with her!”
“Yaritza has a way with our cat. She normally hides when strangers are in the house but Yaritza got pics of our Joey on every visit. Definitely recommended and will use her services again if/when we need it”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, and smaller breeds. I’m comfortable with both energetic dogs and those who prefer a slower, more relaxed pace. Every pet has their own personality, and I take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe and happy. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for turtles and am happy to look after other small pets, including fish, birds, rabbits, and guinea pigs during drop-in visits. I understand that each pet has unique routines, and I’ll carefully follow your instructions to ensure they receive the same loving care they’re used to at home. As a former elementary school teacher, I’m dependable, patient, observant, and detail-oriented. I’ll treat your pets with kindness and respect, communicate regularly, and send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to be available for walks and drop-in visits throughout the week. I enjoy building consistent routines with pets and can often accommodate weekday, weekend, and even last-minute requests. My goal is to provide dependable care so you can feel confident your pets are in good hands. I believe pets are happiest when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to follow your instructions carefully and provide the same loving care they’re used to receiving. During each visit or walk, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection based on their individual personality and needs. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or appetite and will communicate with you right away if I notice anything concerning. I’ll also send updates and photos after each visit so you can feel connected and have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is for your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for until you return.

“I had Ashley come stop in daily for over a week! This was the longest I’ve been away from my animal but she was consistent and reliable. She always texted me pictures and kept me updated on how my Nala was doing which made me feel better! Will definitely be rebooking Ashley again!”

“Camron did a great job with reoccurring visits to take care of my cat while I was on vacation. I always knew when she arrived and she always took plenty of photos to show what she had done and so I could see my cat. She even brought in my mail for me and swept up the cat litter off the floor. I will definitely use her services again!”

About: I have owned 2 dogs of my own, as well as sitting for many friends and family. My very first job at 10 years old was requested by my neighbors to watch their dogs while they were away. I have experience with all ages, including senior dogs, as my own both required a lot of hands on care in their golden year, including bi-weekly fluids, medications and special diets. I work part-time, sometimes in the morning to late-afternoon or late-afternoon to evening, usually 4 days a week. This schedule is not the same every week but I usually know 2 weeks ahead of time. There is someone home everyday after 5pm and all day Friday-Sunday as well. I have a townhouse with a fenced in yard. No ability to crate at the moment but plenty of space to crate if one can be provided. There are currently no other animals in my house, as my Biscuit cross the rainbow bridge last year. Both people in the home have owned pets, and have experience with care. Someone is home most of the time, minimal hours alone if any. Weekends will have someone home all day. House has step that can easily be blocked off by a gate if needed.
“Rico is an absolutely fantastic! He took great care of my dog, Hayley, and was incredibly attentive throughout their time together. I really appreciated the frequent updates and photos he sent—they gave me so much peace of mind knowing she was happy and well looked after. Hayley adored him, and it’s clear he genuinely loves what he does. I highly recommend Rico to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog walker! 🐾”

“Jen is the best. On time, detailed, follows instructions perfectly, excellent communication, great photos each time. She always goes above and beyond at every visit, doing the little things that show she really cares. I am very comfortable having her in my home when I am not there. Perhaps the best compliment I could give her is that She takes care of my kitty just as I would do. I'm so thankful that I found her!”

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the care Christine provided for my 2 Standard Poodles. This was our first time ever needing to use a pet sitter that was not a family member, so I was completely unsure about how it would work out. The process was smooth and I was able to enjoy my event with peace of mind. 😊”

“I knew Desiree was the right person when both my wife and I chose her while reviewing the Rover app at different times. She did not disappoint. It did our hearts so good to know that our Benny was in caring hands. Not only was she always on time, and stayed the entire time, she took time to play with him, take him on short and long walks, and sent us many pictures of Benny doing a variety of things. I would wholeheartedly recommend Desiree without a second thought. A+ 👏👏”

I have a pool for the swimmers and vinyl floors for cool resting spaces I’m retired from a career in accounting so dog care is the biggest part of my day. I’m outside a lot and will let your dog play as much as possible, I do have a covered patio with a tile floor so the can cool down and get water. I have a pool that I can block access when needed Pets sleep indoors and usually in my bedroom floor or my bed when there’s enough room. I allow them on my sofas and the sleep there as well. Alyssa is great. My pets take to her very well. She really engages and interacts with my fur babies and ensures she’s mindful to accommodate any requested needs for either of my cats. She’s punctual reliable and communicates well. I’ve had nothing but positive experiences with her!
Sherri did a wonderful job caring for our pets! She was such a lifesaver being able to help out at just a short notice. First time meeting her and I felt like our animals would be in good hands and they were! I recommend Sherri if you want a reliable and caring person to watch over your pets, 100%! :)

“Chris did a great job checking in on my cats. Super reliable, communicative, and clearly has a natural way with animals. Even my more reserved cat felt comfortable around him, which says a lot. He made the whole process easy and stress-free, and I’d definitely trust him with them again.

I've used Ashley a total of 3 times now to take care of my baby. I was gone for 2 weeks on vacation out of the country back in October, then as soon as I got home, I immediately had to leave and fly out of state for a family emergency. She was able to help on late notice. She sends a ton of pictures and is communicative. Plus my sweet little cat likes her.

I was going away and I'd just lost my previous sitter. I found Madison in my first search. What a relief!! I read her profile and such, which is so impressive and TOTALLY shows her deep dedication to animals. I immediately knew I could trust her with my Babies. She did drop-in visits for my cat, Tucker and dog, Gabby for about 3 days. She not only takes care of feeding them, giving them water, cleaning up after them and generally keeping them company, she also brushed Tucker everyday, which he loves, and she took Gabby for short walks and potty breaks. This is all a 30 minute drop-in! She does not waste a minute of time. So efficient, friendly and dependable. And her reports, or Rover cards, are out of this world. The part that I appreciated most were the notes. She told me everything about the visit. Truly kept me updated about my Babies and things she'd taken care of. I use Pretty Litter and she made sure to tell me right away that there was a color change in the litter where Tucker peed so I could take him to the doc sooner than later. I absolutely feel that during the time she was here, the only thing that mattered to her was them. She has a true focus on the animals and is dedicating her life to them through veterinary service, volunteer service and loving her own animals. And OURS!! She is truly wonderful. My only regret is that I didn't find her sooner. Thank you so very much Madison! 😊

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
