“I have had the pleasure of Madison watching over my (2) 🐶 🐶 while away. She does a great job interacting with them, walks, pictures and little narrative about her visit. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!”

“Lori is the best! She took care of our two kitties as if they were her own. They loved her-usually they will hide for a day or two when we leave but not with Lori! She sent us very clear and specific updates, which we very much appreciated, and took photos and sent them every time she visited. The cats were perfectly relaxed, just like they normally are. We will definitely ask Lori to be our cat sitter the next time we go out of town. She is very conscientious and you can tell she loves animals--couldn't ask for more!”

“Very reliable and professional! Everything was done as instructed, and I came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs. Great communication and attention to detail. Would definitely book again!”

“Camron was consistent, followed directions and punctual. This is great for a service provider. Most important my dog seemed more at ease and happier having had a visit in the middle of the day! Thank You!”

“Desiree was excellent! She had great communication and was professional, providing multiple photos of my cat while I was away for the holidays. Would definitely recommend!”

“Shelby looked after my cat Birdie while I was away for a week and did a tremendous job of taking care of her and also easing my worries. Highly recommend and plan to work with again when I go on future trips.”

“had an amazing experience! She took such great care of Max and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. She is bilingual, super sweet, and very communicative. I loved that she sent me frequent updates, messages, and pictures of Max it really meant a lot to me. You can tell she genuinely cares for the pets she looks after.”

“Jennifer was reliable and did a great job checking in on my kitties and giving our diabetic cat what he needed. It was very appreciated and we look forward to continuing to work together in the future.”

“Alyssa was very good as usual! Have always used her for long trips but this was the first times I did a drop in visit for an hour dur to being gone for several hours. Coco and Sallie loved seeing Alyssa again and it was great to get several photo/video updates!”

“I couldn’t be more pleased with the care Christine provided for my 2 Standard Poodles. This was our first time ever needing to use a pet sitter that was not a family member, so I was completely unsure about how it would work out. The process was smooth and I was able to enjoy my event with peace of mind. 😊”

“Ariana did a fantastic job taking care of our two cats while we were out of town. She gave them lots of attention, played with them, and took care of all of their needs. We received updates and pictures every day from her and she was always very responsive to any messages. Highly recommend Ariana and will definitely book her again in the future!”

About: Hi! My name is Mariana. I’m a college student, and I’ve always loved dogs. Although I didn’t grow up with one, that only made me appreciate them even more. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities through pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic care, going on walks, providing playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, understanding that they may require extra patience, slower-paced walks, medication reminders, or additional attention to their comfort and routines. In addition, I have experience caring for brachycephalic breeds, such as French Bulldogs, and understand the extra precautions they may need, especially in hot weather and during exercise. My goal is to provide every pet with loving, reliable, and attentive care while giving owners peace of mind. I’m currently taking summer classes and they’re both online so I have a very flexible schedule for any pet care over the summer. I care for pets in my clients home by staying attentive and professional while also providing a level of care and affection. I also have respect for my clients home and their belongings.
About: I’ve had pets throughout my life. Most dogs approach me readily. I enjoy giving belly rubs and back scratching. Playing fetch in and outside and giving them attention I am retired and am available 7 days a week and am at home most of the day. I leave a sliding glass door and patio door open for them to go in and out freely I have a fenced back yard with plenty of room to run. I don’t have a a 80lb Black Lab under 2 years old that’s loves playing. I have Airbnb space and welcome pet guests along with the two legged variety. I have a pool for the swimmers and vinyl floors for cool resting spaces I’m retired from a career in accounting so dog care is the biggest part of my day. It give me flexibility to schedule meet and greets an can accommodate drop offs and pickups throughout the day and evenings I work hard keeping your pet safe. I separate dogs at their feeding times to avoid any territorial issues I allow the dogs as much outdoor time as possible I keep hard bones and ropes all around to keep them occupied. Most daycare dogs leave having spent a lot of energy and usually rest well when they get home I am fully retired so I’m home all day most days. If I go out to run errands I’m gone 1-2 hours. Should I be gone longer, I will check your practice that you use there. I’m outside a lot and will let your dog play as much as possible, I do have a covered patio with a tile floor so the can cool down and get water. I have a pool that I can block access when needed Pets sleep indoors and usually in my bedroom floor or my bed when there’s enough room. I allow them on my sofas and the sleep there as well. I feed them twice a day between 7-8am and 5-6pm and treats in between

Sherri did a wonderful job caring for our pets! She was such a lifesaver being able to help out at just a short notice. First time meeting her and I felt like our animals would be in good hands and they were! I recommend Sherri if you want a reliable and caring person to watch over your pets, 100%! :)

This was our first time using Jennifer's pet sitting service and we loved her. More importantly, our shy cat Lilly loved her! Jennifer is a true professional. Her gentle approach won Lilly over. She is reliable, punctual and took great care of Lilly. We will definitely use her services again. Highly recommend!

“Chris did a great job checking in on my cats. Super reliable, communicative, and clearly has a natural way with animals. Even my more reserved cat felt comfortable around him, which says a lot. He made the whole process easy and stress-free, and I’d definitely trust him with them again.

I knew Desiree was the right person when both my wife and I chose her while reviewing the Rover app at different times. She did not disappoint. It did our hearts so good to know that our Benny was in caring hands. Not only was she always on time, and stayed the entire time, she took time to play with him, take him on short and long walks, and sent us many pictures of Benny doing a variety of things. I would wholeheartedly recommend Desiree without a second thought. A+ 👏👏

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
