About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life (ranging from Miniature Schnauzers to German Shepherds), which has given me a great amount of experience with all energy levels & personalities. I’ve taken care of family, friends, and neighbors’ dogs throughout the years. I love dogs of all sizes and have my own, Bernese Mountain Dog, who is 2 years old. I genuinely love spending time with dogs… whether it’s a walk, playtime or an overnight stay! I am fully dedicated to keeping your dog happy and secure. I currently work an 8am-5pm accounting job (that is an 8 minute commute from my apartment) during the week, so I am available before or after my day job. I am free on weekends. I have the most loving, gentle dog at home (he is 2yr old Bernese Mountain Dog). He loves other dogs (small & large). I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, in an area that is extremely dog friendly.
“Katie is the best and made sure our Cam had lots of play time, food, and water 😺 I would recommend her to anyone looking for their fur babies! Thank you for looking after our lil guy like one of your own!”

About: I grew up taking care of puppies and dogs of all types. I tend to gravitate in any situation towards animals first. While I have no formal training in dog training, I have learned quite a bit throughout my years. My schedule sometimes varies through out the week but it is 99% night shifts, so 3pm until about midnight at the latest. I am available anytime during the day. I live alone with just my 4 year old cat in a decently sized 1 bedroom apartment. I am on the second floor with no elevator. I will be very respectful to your home and your pets, just as I expect someone to be in my home. I pay attention to details and will make sure to take great care of your fur babies.
About: I’m new to Rover, but have been in the petsitting and housesitting business for years now. I’ve cared for animals of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. From tiny lap dogs who think they own the house to giant breeds who actually do. Whether your pet is a couch potato, zoomie champion, professional squirrel watcher, or secretly plotting world domination, I’m here for it. I have experience with animals big and small and know that every pet has their own personality, routine, and quirks. I’m patient, dependable, and always ready for belly rubs, playtime, long walks, or just keeping your furry friend company while you’re away. Your pets will get plenty of love, attention, and care, plus updates and photos so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. Warning: your pet may come back spoiled with affection and expecting celebrity-level treatment. I currently have an fairly open availability and a flexible schedule, which means I can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and even last-minute pet care needs whenever possible. Whether your dog needs a walk and playtime, your cat needs a quick check-in and treats, or your pet simply wants someone to exist nearby while they silently judge them, I’m happy to help. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and very specific demands, so I do my best to stay flexible and work around what keeps them happiest, safest, and most comfortable. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine are my top priorities. I know how important it is to trust someone with your animals, and I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and cautious, or convinced they are the ruler of the household, I take the time to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at their own pace. I’m attentive to feeding schedules, medications, walks, litter box care, behavioral changes, and making sure your home stays secure and tidy during visits. With experience caring for animals of all sizes and personalities, I understand that every pet has different needs, routines, and quirks. My goal is always to create a calm, low-stress environment where your pets feel safe, loved, and maybe just a little spoiled while you’re away.
“Dorian was beyond Great!! He went above and beyond in his caring for our fur babies, Mr Wilson (basset hound) and Squeaks our cat. All I can say is Dorian exceeded our expectations on every Level! Rover was actually a "Vacation Saver" since our family member backed out of caring for our pets at the last minute. I will book Dorian again and recommend him and Rover to anyone who needs pet care. Book Dorian, you will be so happy you found him!”

Theresa has been absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend her highly enough! She is incredibly dependable, communicative, and always so flexible with my changing work schedule. Knowing that she arrives every day to make sure my dog, Charlie, gets plenty of time outside while I’m at work gives me so much peace of mind. Charlie absolutely loves her, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about him. She goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy, comfortable, and well cared for during every visit. I also really appreciate how mindful she is of my cat. She’s always careful to make sure he stays safely inside and never has the opportunity to slip out the door, which means a lot to me as a pet owner with multiple animals. I trust Theresa completely with both of my pets, and that’s not something I say lightly. I’m so grateful for all of her help and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter or dog walker!

Jenna did an amazing job taking care of our dog Tilly while we were away! We felt completely at ease knowing Tilly was in such good hands. Jenna took the time to learn Tilly’s nervous habits and even put on the TV for her comfort during the Fourth of July fireworks, which meant so much to us. She was super reliable, communicative, and sent the cutest photos of Tilly. We will 100% book with Jenna again!

Booked Jordan for a couple drip-in visits and she did a fantastic job looking after our cat! She left very detailed notes, took a bunch of great photos, and asked plenty of clarifying questions that made our brief vacation very stress free. Would definitely recommend!

Sara took great care of our pets! She was very attentive to them and is a reliable pet sitter. She goes the extra mile to ensure they are happy and comfortable. She gave us a peace of mind while we were out of town. I recommend her serviced and we would love to have her back!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
