“This was our 1st time using Rover. 5 stars!! Hanna did a fantastic job watching our furry son, Oliver. She went above and beyond with her service. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Hanna. Oliver loves her too!! Thank you so much Hanna. We really appreciate you.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life (ranging from Miniature Schnauzers to German Shepherds), which has given me a great amount of experience with all energy levels & personalities. I’ve taken care of family, friends, and neighbors’ dogs throughout the years. I love dogs of all sizes and have my own, Bernese Mountain Dog, who is 2 years old. I genuinely love spending time with dogs… whether it’s a walk, playtime or an overnight stay! I am fully dedicated to keeping your dog happy and secure. I currently work an 8am-5pm accounting job (that is an 8 minute commute from my apartment) during the week, so I am available before or after my day job. I am free on weekends. I have the most loving, gentle dog at home (he is 2yr old Bernese Mountain Dog). He loves other dogs (small & large). I live in a 2 bedroom apartment, in an area that is extremely dog friendly.

“Addison was amazing with my 3 cats! It was so reassuring to be on vacation and know my cats were well-loved and taken care of while I was gone. Highly recommend!!”

“This was my first time leaving my cat with someone new, and I was really stressed. But she took great care of him, kept me updated with pictures, and made my last-minute trip so much easier. Thank you!!”

“Oh my gosh Jenna was absolutely amazing! She took such good care of my cat Tiki, my cat was going through a medical situation throughout the time Jenna was watching her and she handled it so well and I came back from vacation to a much healthier cat! I’m so impressed by her communication and tender care towards my cat. I will hire her again in a heartbeat and recommend her to anybody!”

About: I absolutely love being a dog sitter! I have been a pet sitter for puppies through senior aged dogs. There's nothing better than taking dogs on hikes and letting them explore the great outdoors. I enjoy walking and hiking with them, and seeing them get excited about new trails is the best part. I also love just hanging out and playing with them—dogs genuinely make me happy! Whether we’re going for a fun hike or having a play session at the park, I make sure every pup has a great time! I work from home, so I have free time during the day to go walk your pup! I carve out time every day to go walk and would love to walk with your dog! I also am available to stay nights if need be. Whether you’re away for the day or traveling, I provide reliable and loving care for your pets. As a pet sitter, I offer personalized attention, ensuring your pet feels comfortable and secure in the familiar surroundings of your home. I’ll keep your pets active, happy, and entertained, following their usual routines for feeding, playtime, and rest. For dog walking, I provide energizing walks tailored to your dog’s pace and preferences. Whether it’s a quick stroll or a longer adventure, your dog will get the exercise and fresh air they need, all while staying safe and happy. I strive to build trust with both you and your pets, making sure every visit feels like a little extra love from home!

“Bekah is so great with my kitties. She sends so many pictures and updates, trims their nails, gets their daily playtime in, and cares for them as if they were her own. I love reading her daily messages because she gets their personalities down to a tee and I genuinely feel like I’m home with them.”

About: Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience as a professional dog walker and pet sitter for a local pet sitting company. I’ve cared for both dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities, and I’ve also had the privilege of fostering animals, which has given me even more experience understanding their unique needs. I’m a proud cat mom to two cats of my own and know firsthand how much our pets mean to us. I treat every animal I care for like they are my own, whether that means going on walks, giving lots of love and attention, keeping up with their routines, or simply making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and would love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m an early riser and love starting my mornings with walks, so I’m available for morning dog walks and drop-in visits. My full-time career is in real estate, which allows me to have a flexible schedule and work on the go. I’m able to build pet care into my day and provide reliable, loving attention while you’re away. Caring for animals is something I truly enjoy and look forward to making part of my routine. I primarily care for pets in my client’s home, where I focus on keeping their routine as consistent and comfortable as possible. I know pets feel safest in their own environment, so I follow their normal feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions from their owners. I provide lots of love, attention, and updates so you can feel confident your pets are happy and cared for while you’re away.

“Natalie was amazing with my dog Ralo! He was so happy to see her, and she gave him so much love and attention during their visit. She stayed the full hour, sent plenty of updates, and even took him for a walk. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in great hands. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Iuliia goes above and beyond for you and your pet. She is sweet and easy to work with. Thank you for taking care of Lalo during my birthday trip. You made me feel at ease.”

“Alexis was fantastic! She was great with my dog and communicated very well about when she was visiting and how the dog was doing. Would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Always a reliable choice. Goes above and beyond. I never have to worry knowing Jordan is taking care of my Olive ☺️ absolutely recommend if she’s not already all booked up!”

“Isabel was amazing. She came over to meet my cats before I left and they were instantly in love with her, which is not their norm. Usually, my older cat is skittish and standoffish, but he loved her immediately. She took such amazing care of them, cleaning up messes, and playing with them. I came home to no anxiety from my cats, which is super rare. 11/10. My partner and I are going to call her every time we leave town.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
