I’m also patient with puppies and energetic dogs, and I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m a college student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to give your pets lots of love and attention. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding and can work around your pet’s routine! 🐾💕 Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m responsible, attentive, and respectful of your home and your pet’s routine. I’ll always communicate with you and make sure your pets are happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away!
“Jamie is absolutely amazing! My dog absolutely adores her and she goes above and beyond to provide the best care. She is great at communicating and is incredibly professional. We have used her for dog walking services and I can't recommend her enough!”

“Camron is the sweetest person that you could ever use to trust your animal in her care! Her professionalism is top notch. If I could rate her more than 5 stars, I would! When I got home from my trip, I could almost see the disappointment in my dogs eyes when he saw that I was home and not his buddy Camron! Grateful to have found her.”

“Adrianna was very punctual and kind. She followed all instructions in detail and got along very well with Bruno, which is worth mentioning since they had never met before. It was a great experience overall. I highly recommend Adrianna.”

About: An FFA (Future Farmers of America) member who helped with our doggy daycare program for a year ranging from medium to small dogs. I also regularly volunteer at Humane Society caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies etc. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of all ages! As a full-time college student, I make sure to be able to focus my time on caring for your furbabies! Please contact me so we can schedule around my classes! I highly recommend a meet and greet so the pet(s) gets used to me and I get an idea of their personality. I will also do a quick briefing on any health problems I should know before hand, certain procedures that are common place for your pet to ensure they're comfortable with me and make sure we are on the same page for care.

About: Hi! My name is Mariana. I’m a college student, and I’ve always loved dogs. Although I didn’t grow up with one, that only made me appreciate them even more. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities through pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic care, going on walks, providing playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, understanding that they may require extra patience, slower-paced walks, medication reminders, or additional attention to their comfort and routines. In addition, I have experience caring for brachycephalic breeds, such as French Bulldogs, and understand the extra precautions they may need, especially in hot weather and during exercise. My goal is to provide every pet with loving, reliable, and attentive care while giving owners peace of mind. I’m currently taking summer classes and they’re both online so I have a very flexible schedule for any pet care over the summer. I care for pets in my clients home by staying attentive and professional while also providing a level of care and affection. I also have respect for my clients home and their belongings.
“Kori is wonderful with my energetic lab! She interacts well with him, staying attentive and keeping him safe. She has been kind, dependable and great to work with. I highly recommend her (and so does my dog). 😀”

About: I have experience in my own home caring for 3 large dogs and a Maine Coon. I’ve had my animals for about 5 years now. I also have experience caring for friends and families animals, as well as experience volunteering with the humane society. I’ve recently started pet sitting here in tampa, and I love to care for and help animals! I am available all day everyday including holidays! I can do any of my services on any date or time and I take last minute bookings depending on the service! I walk my dogs multiple times a day as well as i clean out my cats litter box twice a day to avoid any odor. I enjoy taking the animals outside to play, and I have indoor cat toys I use for my cat since she’s a runner! I also feed all the animals twice a day, and go on runs with my more active dogs as often as possible!

“Always saving the day for me! I had a late meeting and she was able, on short notice, to let Atlas out and give him dinner! It’s nice to have someone to rely on in time of need. Thank you always, Ashley!”

About: I have owned 2 dogs of my own, as well as sitting for many friends and family. My very first job at 10 years old was requested by my neighbors to watch their dogs while they were away. I have experience with all ages, including senior dogs, as my own both required a lot of hands on care in their golden year, including bi-weekly fluids, medications and special diets. I work part-time, sometimes in the morning to late-afternoon or late-afternoon to evening, usually 4 days a week. This schedule is not the same every week but I usually know 2 weeks ahead of time. There is someone home everyday after 5pm and all day Friday-Sunday as well. I have a townhouse with a fenced in yard. No ability to crate at the moment but plenty of space to crate if one can be provided. There are currently no other animals in my house, as my Biscuit cross the rainbow bridge last year. Both people in the home have owned pets, and have experience with care. Someone is home most of the time, minimal hours alone if any. Weekends will have someone home all day. House has step that can easily be blocked off by a gate if needed.
About: I’ve been around pets my whole life and I’m super comfortable with all kinds of dogs and cats. I’ve watched playful puppies, easygoing adults, and sweet senior pets who just need a little extra care. I can stick to feeding routines, give potty breaks as often as needed, go on walks, play, and of course give them plenty of love and attention. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own while you’re away! ❤️ I have open availability, so I’m able to make caring for pets a priority throughout my day. I enjoy structuring my schedule around the pets I’m caring for, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well‑cared for every single day. I like to care for pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine; with a lot of love, patience, and attention. In a client’s home, I make sure to follow your routine as closely as possible, like feeding times, walks, and any little habits your pet is used to. I keep their space clean, give them plenty of playtime and cuddles, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, hamsters, chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs and birds! I love animals and have been pet sitting for over ten years and hopefully many more. My vast experience with different species of pets helps me to adapt and problem solve in any situation. I’m happy to communicate with you and help care for your pets! I am a college graduate and I currently have one dog with my family; she is the highlight of our lives! We make sure she is in good health with her diet and veterinary visits. I have cared for many pets for my friends, family and neighbors throughout the years. I love to see animals thriving in their environment and when responsible, help out with that to the best of my abilities. In our home our porch is screened in for our dog to go outside and sunbathe, we take her for walks, and have specific food for her diet!

Jacob has been coming to walk my dog while I work and has been a true lifesaver for my dog Nyla and I! He has been able to help me out on extremely late notice, and supplies a bunch of useful information on dogs as well. Super helpful and can tell he really has a passion for animals!

Working with Jennifer has been such a great experience! She is reliable, communicative, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in good hands and getting plenty of attention and exercise. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.
Kelli has been a true life saver for me and my Pitbull girly. Like most pits, my girl is stubborn. Kelli is able to handle any situation with ease and compassion. There is always great communication and support whenever needed. Kelli goes above and beyond in caring for my dog, whether it’s a quick walk or in-home stays. I truly could not have asked for a better person to be a part of my dogs life.

David was absolutely excellent both professional and personable and my dog Cody loves him. He is the best that I have ever had on rover.com We appreciate him and highly recommend him to Everyone! He also very generously helped me with a few tasks, Clean Cody’s dog water dish and filled it back up and he took my garbage out So highly impressed with him! I was recently attacked by a dog and had surgery and can’t walk for a few months, so everything that he has done has been a wonderful added touch, his kindness & generosity has touched my heart. David is definitely a wonderful man, reliable, responsible, respectful, and many other great traits . Definitely a pleasure to meet him & his wonderful self.

Nancy was incredibly patient and kind with our little yorkie Tiffany who isn’t very sociable and can be a bit cautious around new people, but Nancy took the time to understand Tiffany and quickly found common language with her. Thank you so much, Nancy, for taking such great care of Tiffany 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
