About: An FFA (Future Farmers of America) member who helped with our doggy daycare program for a year ranging from medium to small dogs. I also regularly volunteer at Humane Society caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies etc. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of all ages! As a full-time college student, I make sure to be able to focus my time on caring for your furbabies! Please contact me so we can schedule around my classes! I highly recommend a meet and greet so the pet(s) gets used to me and I get an idea of their personality. I will also do a quick briefing on any health problems I should know before hand, certain procedures that are common place for your pet to ensure they're comfortable with me and make sure we are on the same page for care.

About: Hi! My name is Mariana. I’m a college student, and I’ve always loved dogs. Although I didn’t grow up with one, that only made me appreciate them even more. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities through pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic care, going on walks, providing playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, understanding that they may require extra patience, slower-paced walks, medication reminders, or additional attention to their comfort and routines. In addition, I have experience caring for brachycephalic breeds, such as French Bulldogs, and understand the extra precautions they may need, especially in hot weather and during exercise. My goal is to provide every pet with loving, reliable, and attentive care while giving owners peace of mind. I’m currently taking summer classes and they’re both online so I have a very flexible schedule for any pet care over the summer. I care for pets in my clients home by staying attentive and professional while also providing a level of care and affection. I also have respect for my clients home and their belongings.

When we're out of town for a short weekend, we usually have morning and night coverage for our baby. Wires got crossed and he didn't get the care we're used to. Enter Christine. Her and her husband went above and beyond. They cleaned an accident that happened after our usual walker didn't walk the dog accordingly because of the rain. Our poor boy, who never has house accidents, pooped inside. Again, Christine made sure our house was cleaned and even checked to make sure there were no further accidents. She communicated regularly and just gave us such ease while we were gone for the weekend. I can't say enough good things. We'll be booking with them again.

About: Pet Care Experience I’ve been a dog owner and animal lover since I was a child, giving me a lifelong passion for caring for pets. I have hands-on experience with dogs of all ages, including senior dogs who require extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I am also comfortable administering medications and following specific care instructions to ensure your pet stays healthy and safe. What Sets Me Apart What makes me different is my genuine love and dedication to every pet I care for. I treat each animal like family, paying close attention to their unique needs, routines, and personalities. Whether it’s providing extra comfort to senior dogs or ensuring medications are given properly, I focus on dependable, compassionate care you can trust. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. As a mom to a 2-month-old and a part-time student studying to become a medical assistant, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to plan my day around both my responsibilities and the pets I care for. I’m already used to maintaining a consistent routine, which helps me stay organized and dependable for feedings, walks, playtime, and medication schedules. Caring for pets blends seamlessly into my week, and I make sure each pet gets the attention, love, and reliability they deserve. I care for pets in your own home by keeping their routine as consistent as possible to help them feel safe and comfortable. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care needs. I provide plenty of attention, affection, and supervision while making sure your home is respected and kept clean. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and can administer medications when needed, always making sure pets are comfortable and well cared for. About: I’ve always been naturally inclined to understanding animals and have been empathetic towards them and people. I love helping and I have been pet sitting for over 4 years. I am very organized, punctual, caring, patient, a good communicator, and hardworking. I am also a diabetic so I am used to all different kinds of medical procedures and treatments! I can’t wait to share the love with all the social fur friends! I am currently working part and am a part time student, so I have a good amount of time to be able to help out and provide care. I also am good at planning and scheduling my time out well. I care for pets in my clients home by following the proper instructions provided, making sure it is a safe clean environment for the animal, communication with the client, and keeping watching on the animal to ensure its safety. I also ensure that everything I used is cleaned before the pet owner returns. Please be advised that I will not accept a job found through rover and would like to take it off. I’m only willing to do that if we have worked through Rover before and want to continue outside of it.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have always been the person my family and friends call when they need their pet taken care of. I have a senior dog who needs support getting around and requires medication so I am comfortable with animals of all ages and all needs! I’m currently a student with all online classes, so I have a very free schedule! I am able to come as often as needed at any time! It’s important for me to treat someone’s home with respect, as I would want the same done for me. It can be nerve wracking to let a stranger come in to your home and take care of your very loved pet, which is why I take rules and boundaries very seriously so you can have peace of mind.

About: Hi, I'm Carrie! ✨ New to Rover! As I build my client family, I'm offering introductory pricing while still providing premium care, personalized updates, and lots of love for every pet. My passion for dogs goes beyond simply loving animals—I actively volunteer as a dog walker with my local Humane Society, where I've gained hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. Through my volunteer work, I've learned how to safely handle energetic dogs, build trust with shy or nervous dogs, and adapt each walk to meet a dog's individual needs. Every dog deserves patience, kindness, and a positive experience, whether they need an energetic walk, a slower pace, or simply someone who understands their unique personality. I take pride in creating a calm, safe, and enjoyable environment while always putting the dog's well-being first. In addition to my volunteer experience, my professional background has taught me the importance of reliability, communication, and attention to detail. You can count on me to arrive on time, follow your care instructions carefully, and provide updates and photos after every visit so you can have complete peace of mind while you're away. I treat every dog as if they were my own and look forward to building lasting relationships with both you and your furry family member. Pet care is already an important part of my weekly routine. I volunteer as a dog walker with my local Humane Society on Saturdays, where I have the opportunity to work with dogs of different breeds, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I truly enjoy spending time with dogs and helping them get the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve. Outside of volunteering, I maintain an active lifestyle and enjoy being outdoors, making dog walking a natural fit for me. I intentionally schedule my availability so I can provide dependable, personalized care without feeling rushed. Whether it's a daily walk, a potty break, or extra playtime, I treat every visit as an opportunity to make a positive difference in a dog's day. For me, pet care isn't just something I do—it's something I genuinely enjoy. My goal is to provide every pet with safe, compassionate care while giving their owners confidence and peace of mind. I believe every pet is happiest when their routine is respected, so I take the time to learn your dog's preferences, schedule, and any special instructions before each visit. Whether I'm providing a walk, a potty break, or a drop-in visit, my goal is to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. During each visit, I provide personalized attention based on your dog's energy level and needs. This includes exercise, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, affection, and plenty of positive reinforcement. I'll also make sure your home is secure before I leave by checking doors, gates, and any instructions you've provided. Communication is very important to me. After every visit, you'll receive photos and a detailed update about your dog's walk, behavior, potty breaks, and anything else you should know. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own, so you can feel confident knowing they're in caring, dependable hands.

About: I have owned 2 dogs of my own, as well as sitting for many friends and family. My very first job at 10 years old was requested by my neighbors to watch their dogs while they were away. I have experience with all ages, including senior dogs, as my own both required a lot of hands on care in their golden year, including bi-weekly fluids, medications and special diets. I work part-time, sometimes in the morning to late-afternoon or late-afternoon to evening, usually 4 days a week. This schedule is not the same every week but I usually know 2 weeks ahead of time. There is someone home everyday after 5pm and all day Friday-Sunday as well. I have a townhouse with a fenced in yard. No ability to crate at the moment but plenty of space to crate if one can be provided. There are currently no other animals in my house, as my Biscuit cross the rainbow bridge last year. Both people in the home have owned pets, and have experience with care. Someone is home most of the time, minimal hours alone if any. Weekends will have someone home all day. House has step that can easily be blocked off by a gate if needed.

About: I’ve been pet sitting over 40 years. With over 19 years experience in the Vet tech field, I began pet sitting for extra income. From cats, birds, rabbits, turtles and numerous dog breeds. I absolutely love pet sitting, fostering relationships and meeting new pups and ppl. I’m relocating to the area and expanding my pet clientele. I’m on your schedule but more importantly I make your pets schedule the utmost priority. I have two beautiful dogs, one senior and the other quite rambunctious. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
