I’m attentive to changes in behavior or appetite and will communicate with you right away if I notice anything concerning. I’ll also send updates and photos after each visit so you can feel connected and have peace of mind while you’re away. I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, and smaller breeds. I’m comfortable with both energetic dogs and those who prefer a slower, more relaxed pace. Every pet has their own personality, and I take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe and happy. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for turtles and am happy to look after other small pets, including fish, birds, rabbits, and guinea pigs during drop-in visits. I understand that each pet has unique routines, and I’ll carefully follow your instructions to ensure they receive the same loving care they’re used to at home. As a former elementary school teacher, I’m dependable, patient, observant, and detail-oriented. I’ll treat your pets with kindness and respect, communicate regularly, and send updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

Jamie and I have been friends for 18 years. We also worked together. She is responsible and very trust worthy. She has owned dogs since I’ve met her. They are loved and well cared for. When Jamie came to stay with us, my dog loved her for the moment she got there. She gave my dog lots of love and cuddles! Jamie spent lots of time in our backyard playing fetch. I’ve gone on many walks with Jamie with her dog and my dog including hikes. I would highly recommend Jamie as a pet sitter and/or dog walker.
