“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dogs received! She is kind, reliable, and truly loves animals. We had complete peace of mind while we were away, and our pups were happy and well cared for. We highly recommend her!”

“Ashley has done great so far with our dog Shae! Shae takes a while to warm up to new people and can be very anxious and barky. Ashley has patience and kept coming back and slowly gained her trust! Will keep booking!”

“Camron has been great working with the slow introduction to walks and hopefully future sitting with my particularly shy and fearful dog. His breed needs a lot of time to warm up to strangers and new caretakers/sitters when someone he knows isn’t present and she’s been very understanding and patient learning that he will not be okay going on walks with her alone without me going too for an initial period of time but my Auguste is starting to warm up to her after just a few visits! I think soon he’ll be excited to see her when she comes to walk him!”

“Christian was wonderful! Very friendly and patient with our dogs upon meeting them. Was able to help us with last minute walking needs. We will definitely continue to use his services and would absolutely recommend to others 😄”

“Annaliese was so patient with me! After a last minute cancellation she was able to provide care for my puppy. Super understanding and seemed like my pup really enjoyed her time with her. Thank you!”

“AJ has been walking both of our cane corsos for a few months - they are large and one of them takes a while to warm up to people. Through the whole process he has been patient, kind, and respectful and has gained the full trust and friendship of my big pups. He goes out of his way to make them comfortable and they just LOVE his walks, visits, and belly rubs. I couldn’t recommend AJ more.”

I have two friendly dogs that I’m sure your pets would get along great with. I have a fenced in backyard that they will be able to run around in. There are also plenty of toys for your pet to play with!
“Brooke has taken great care of my pup 😊 We had a very nice meet and greet beforehand and Daisy was so excited to see her again! She sent great updates and adorable pics of her throughout the walk as well!”

“Adrianna was very punctual and kind. She followed all instructions in detail and got along very well with Bruno, which is worth mentioning since they had never met before. It was a great experience overall. I highly recommend Adrianna.”

“Allison was great! Super friendly and communicative. My plans changed but she was super flexible and understanding and she was great with my hyper puppy. We would definitely have her back!”

I treat pets with care, kindness, and love! I am flexible enough to pertain to a pet’s needs and looking to grow my experience profile! About: I have hands on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including puppies and senior pets. I’m patient, attentive, and take the time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level. I focus on creating a calm, loving environment and always prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with pet parents through regular updates and photos. Pet care fits into my daily routine. I plan my schedule around feedings, walks, playtime, and check ins to ensure each pet gets consistent care and attention. I’m home full time and able to be flexible, which allows me to give pets the time, patience, and routine they need to feel comfortable and at home. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a little girl, and we got our first cat just a few years ago but they’ve seem to have fallen in love with me lol. My main concern is making sure your pet is happy and comfortable, doesn’t matter the situation. I’m very gentle with them and I always make sure to communicate or ask when necessary, I don’t want to assume and be wrong or not inform you if something happens. I am in college, I have classes 3 days a week, so I’m home quite a bit. I do not currently work so I’m typically free the remaining days. I volunteer/workout in my free time so I can be flexible! Just ask if a day/time works, I’ll do my best to accommodate! I’m in an apartment so I don’t have a lot of space inside. The complex does have a little fenced in dog area, and there are some dog parks in the area that I would be willing to go to if you have a more active pet. I don’t have anything toxic in the apartment, or in a place they could reach at least (medicines/rubbing alcohol, that sort of stuff). I also like going on longer walks, 20-30 min if the weather is nice.
About: Hey everyone! I have always loved animals of all varieties since a very little girl. I've had a lifetime of experience around animals & pride myself of giving them as much love & care as I can. I grew up in the UK where my dad owned a farm... I would spend my days taking care of our pets, farming duties etc. I have experience from cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, horses, bunnies, rats and everything in between... they were our family, not food! I even studied animal care for a while & got to work with many exotic animals, caring for Tigers, Cheetahs & other big cats, reptiles, amphibians, snakes and more. I have 3 cute kitties with my husband here in Tampa (A tuxedo "Pudge", Orange Tabby "Louie" & Grey Tabby called "Rex/Noodle". But I adore all animals & pets with all of my heart! I have some certificates in Pet Sitting, Dog Walking, Pet Nutrition, Pet Psychology, as taking care of pets & wildlife has always been a passion of mine. All pets deserve the very best! I would absolutely love to be considered & help you in your daily life to care for your precious babies! 💕🐾 I am very flexible, available 7 days a week & would love to help care for your babies no matter their needs. Always available to discuss any schedule needs you may have! :) I always strive to provide the very best care possible for all pets and wildlife under my care & responsibility. I will always go above and beyond to make sure they are happy, loved & their everyday needs are met.
“I highly recommend Ava! She was punctual, communicated well, and gave me peace of mind knowing my pet was in great hands. I wouldn't hesitate to use her services again or recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog walker.”

“Jaritza has been amazing with my requested dog walks. She always asks care questions to make sure that my dog is taken care while I’m away. She communicates quickly & she goes above and beyond even when not asked of her. Literally the best!”

About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including Rottweilers, German Shepherds, Pit Bulls, and smaller breeds. I’m comfortable with both energetic dogs and those who prefer a slower, more relaxed pace. Every pet has their own personality, and I take the time to get to know what makes them feel safe and happy. In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for turtles and am happy to look after other small pets, including fish, birds, rabbits, and guinea pigs during drop-in visits. I understand that each pet has unique routines, and I’ll carefully follow your instructions to ensure they receive the same loving care they’re used to at home. I’m attentive to changes in behavior or appetite and will communicate with you right away if I notice anything concerning. I’ll also send updates and photos after each visit so you can feel connected and have peace of mind while you’re away. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
