“Felt very comfortable leaving my baby in their hands. They sent me pots of every visit. But most of all my baby responded well to them. So I knew he would be happy on his walks.”

About: An FFA (Future Farmers of America) member who helped with our doggy daycare program for a year ranging from medium to small dogs. I also regularly volunteer at Humane Society caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies etc. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of all ages! As a full-time college student, I make sure to be able to focus my time on caring for your furbabies! Please contact me so we can schedule around my classes! I highly recommend a meet and greet so the pet(s) gets used to me and I get an idea of their personality. I will also do a quick briefing on any health problems I should know before hand, certain procedures that are common place for your pet to ensure they're comfortable with me and make sure we are on the same page for care.
“Christian was wonderful! Very friendly and patient with our dogs upon meeting them. Was able to help us with last minute walking needs. We will definitely continue to use his services and would absolutely recommend to others 😄”

“Lori is a special lady. She has such a warm and upbeat personality that really paired well with my dog Huey’s needs. We were in such a bind - I injured my back and we live alone on a third floor apartment walk up. I booked Lori on a moments notice to help out and she came through for us and it made such a difference. She is a kind, trustworthy lady. Huey and I are so glad we found her having just relocated here. She gives thorough picture and status updates after every walk that are just perfect. Do not hesitate to reach out to her for all your kitty and doggie needs - he is so wonderful! We feel so blessed to have met her and look forward to using her services in the near future.”
“Camron has been great working with the slow introduction to walks and hopefully future sitting with my particularly shy and fearful dog. His breed needs a lot of time to warm up to strangers and new caretakers/sitters when someone he knows isn’t present and she’s been very understanding and patient learning that he will not be okay going on walks with her alone without me going too for an initial period of time but my Auguste is starting to warm up to her after just a few visits! I think soon he’ll be excited to see her when she comes to walk him!”

About: Hi! My name is Mariana. I’m a college student, and I’ve always loved dogs. Although I didn’t grow up with one, that only made me appreciate them even more. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, breeds, and personalities through pet sitting and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, administering basic care, going on walks, providing playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away. I also have experience caring for senior dogs, understanding that they may require extra patience, slower-paced walks, medication reminders, or additional attention to their comfort and routines. In addition, I have experience caring for brachycephalic breeds, such as French Bulldogs, and understand the extra precautions they may need, especially in hot weather and during exercise. My goal is to provide every pet with loving, reliable, and attentive care while giving owners peace of mind. I’m currently taking summer classes and they’re both online so I have a very flexible schedule for any pet care over the summer. I care for pets in my clients home by staying attentive and professional while also providing a level of care and affection. I also have respect for my clients home and their belongings.

“When we're out of town for a short weekend, we usually have morning and night coverage for our baby. Wires got crossed and he didn't get the care we're used to. Enter Christine. Her and her husband went above and beyond. They cleaned an accident that happened after our usual walker didn't walk the dog accordingly because of the rain. Our poor boy, who never has house accidents, pooped inside. Again, Christine made sure our house was cleaned and even checked to make sure there were no further accidents. She communicated regularly and just gave us such ease while we were gone for the weekend. I can't say enough good things. We'll be booking with them again.”

“Allison was great! Super friendly and communicative. My plans changed but she was super flexible and understanding and she was great with my hyper puppy. We would definitely have her back!”

“Rebekah is amazing, she stopped by our house everyday and walked with my 2 babies: Maya and Rosie :))) She sent all pictures and feedback - she also made sure that they peed and had some water! Thank you, Rebekah! P.S. Rebekah is so sweet and energetic, we just adopted Rosie (she still isn’t house broken and difficult), she was great with her and gave some feedback :)) I really appreciate it - booking her again!”

“Jen is amazing. She is reliable, dependable, a great communicator, and puts us at ease with our fur baby while we are away. She is so trustworthy and our fur baby loves her! I highly recommend Jen!!”

“Patrick was amazing. I recently had surgery and was unable to walk my dog (pretty much my child) and Patrick was not only communicative, he was kind and helpful. My dog was always excited to see him. Thanks again Patrick!! I appreciate your help.”

“Thank you Ashley for always going above and beyond for Atlas. Even when it’s last minute, you always come through! I couldn’t be more thankful to have Ashley as my go to person!!! Very professional and caring. Thank you always, Ashley!!! 10 out of 5!”

About: Hello! Thank you so much for checking out my profile. I understand you want to make sure you find the right home and person for your dog as they are not just a dog, they are your baby. I will treat your dog the same as I do mine. I love my dog more than anything. She means everything to me, so I promise to love and take care of yours the same while you are gone. I have been doing doing this for many years. I absolutely love and enjoy it. I always take pictures throughout the visit and will keep you updated. My dog Lucy is so friendly and sweet. She is fixed and is great with all size dogs. She is a 3 year old Australian Shepherd. She really is one of the most loving dogs. I work from home, so I can let your dog outside throughout the day as often as she/he may need. I do leave the house for errands or gym, so there are times your dog may be alone. Working with Jennifer has been such a great experience! She is reliable, communicative, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the pets she works with. I felt completely at ease knowing my dog was in good hands and getting plenty of attention and exercise. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with their pet.
Kelli has been a true life saver for me and my Pitbull girly. Like most pits, my girl is stubborn. Kelli is able to handle any situation with ease and compassion. There is always great communication and support whenever needed. Kelli goes above and beyond in caring for my dog, whether it’s a quick walk or in-home stays. I truly could not have asked for a better person to be a part of my dogs life.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
