“Wonderful pet pal. My Gabby is spending a bit more time with her now. I can see Gabby forming her relationship with Nikki. I'm a little jealous. Lol. She's still Mama's girl. But I really like seeing her trust someone other than me. Great pet pal!!!”

“Maverick LOVES Jennifer, I know I can always count on her to make sure he is happy while I'm at work. So thankful for everything she does, she always goes above and beyond.”

“Caitlyn was absolutely amazing with my Ginnie girl. She’s a bit of a handful, but Caitlyn was patient and kind to her. She also did a great job of keeping my pup safe when off lead dogs ran up to them. 10/10 service! Will definitely book again.”

“Anastasia was a great dog walker for our golden retriever puppy. She was easy to communicate with, punctual and reliable. We couldn't be happier having found her for whenever we need extra help to take care of our dog and his endless energy.”

About: I have cared for 6 of my own dogs over the years, and I have cared for a number of other pets in my neighborhood with love! I have a part time job currently, so I have plenty of time to care for your furry friends! There are a few weekends with limited availability, but I am remaining local, so I will be near to care for your pet! I make sure all the pets needs are taken care of, including food, water, potty, exercise and even occasional treats and cuddles! I love and care for animals so much, and I will treat your pet as my own!
About: I am a dog lover looking to give you exceptional service! I have a 75lbs pit bull mix who is the love of my life. I love all dogs and would love to care for yours! I work as a server so my hours are short and very flexible. I’m good for drop ins and overnights as your pet will not be alone for long. I’m usually always with my pet. From morning walks, to breakfast, to midday cuddles, to afternoon walks, to dinner time, to late night cuddles. I’m typically against crating unless I am not able to supervise. I love just having the dog around and playing with them
“Gabbi has been great and my dog Ubu just Loves her!! She is so sweet, reliable and truly loves working with dogs! This service and Gabi are great; it allows me to not stress about getting home on time for my puppy dog! I will be rebooking with Gabbi on a regular basis!”

“Jayden is on time and so sweet with my boy, Diego. I have been booking with Jayden several times a week during school semester and it has been incredibly helpful to have her walk him. She is incredibly responsive and I 10/10 recommend her!”

“Colton was wonderful walking our dogs multiple times a day as I recovered from surgery. He was always on-time, easy to communicate with and reliable. He was friendly with my dogs and my spoiled dogs were happy to have their walks and behaved themselves with Colton. Would definitely hire him again and already have.”

“Heather and Craig have been wonderful with my dogs. They've been great with communication and are very professional. I fully trust them with my fur babies and highly recommend them.”

About: I've taken care of dogs/cats personally for 20+ years whether it be my own pets or neighbors. Walk, bathe & medicate with lots of love to dole out. I am currently an empty nester and available to come to your location to care for your fur babies so they are comfortable from the sounds of a kennel. My schedule is flexible. “Ashley H. is very professional, easygoing and great with animals. Luna loves going on long walks with her & to the dog park. I feel completely relaxed that Luna is in competent hands with Ashley. She works at a vet practice & is a certified vet technician. She also helped me administer subcutaneous fluids to my cat. I will request her services again in the future. Great & reliable person.”

About: I've had dogs since little and I love to be surrounded by them. Sometimes I've taken care of my friend's pups when they are away. I stay at home so I have plenty of time for my dog and to play with your pups! We love to take walks and play at parks. I live in a house with a fenced yard, close to parks, and with my super friendly dog that loves to make new friends, I can easily crate your dog if needed; however, they are allowed to stay at the sofa and bed.

Stephanie has been watching my dogs for many years but now she’s expanding her clientele! She does a wonderful job taking my dogs for a walk. They only need short walks so she lets them out in my fenced yard for additional exercise. She’s the only dog sitter I trust!! I am always rebooking Stephanie as she’s a great communicator and really cares for my pups.

Colton has been absolutely amazing with my two Frenchies, Vaan and Krypto! From day one, it was clear how much he genuinely cares about the dogs he works with. He’s reliable, communicative, and always goes the extra mile to make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-exercised. Vaan and Krypto absolutely adore him, and I have total peace of mind knowing they’re in such great hands. He’s attentive to their personalities and needs, and it really shows in how excited they get every time they see him. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and fantastic with dogs, I can’t recommend Colton enough. Truly a 5-star experience every time!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
