About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for pets. I have fond memories of our late 14 yrs. old Shih-Poo, Miko and 10 year old cat, Oscar. In the past, two other beloved cats lived with us. We love spending time with our three grand dogs—two golden retrievers and a mixed breed. After recently leaving my full-time job, I now have the time and flexibility to do something that I love. While we miss having a dog, I’m excited to offer my services and treat your pet as if they were my own. I’ll ensure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable, following your instructions closely to maintain their routine. Your pet will get plenty of attention, affection, and care tailored to their unique needs. I will treat them like part of my family. I’m reliable, compassionate, and dedicated to providing the highest level of care to give you peace of mind while you're away.
“My dogs love stephanie! She is a great person and very kind. I am very happy with the decision i made. She took picture and updated us during the walk. Thank you for helping us!”

“Jillian is amazing! My boys love her… even the one who can be standoffish warmed up quickly to her. She’s incredibly reliable and thorough in providing updates on walks. I’m super grateful she’s available to take care of my pups and highly recommend her for any pet care! She’s awesome!”

About: For me, the joys of pet ownership came a little later in life. I grew up in a home with my parents and 3 older brothers. My mom deduced that a house with four boys and a grown man didn't need any more animals! In the 90s, I worked with the local Humane Society and was overwhelmed by love and empathy that I felt for the animals waiting for adoption. Since then, I've jumped at any chance to walk or care for the pets of my friends and family. There's nothing like the feeling I get when a shy or frightened animal lets its guard down and begins to trust. It melts my heart! My wife and I currently live with Molly Mae. She's a gorgeous 14 year old Chihuahua / Italian Greyhound mix and she's a walking, licking, mood-lifting machine! I’m currently creating artwork from my home studio where I can keep my Molly Mae with me all day. I make my own hours and can respond to pet sitting calls and bookings any time of day. I live in a quiet, gated community which is ideal for walking dogs safely. The surrounding neighborhoods are quiet with very little traffic. I have also had many mural jobs where I have been granted access to client’s homes and businesses and have earned a solid trustworthy reputation.
“This was my first time working with Adriana, one of my dogs Is pretty afraid of human strangers, but with patience and care Adriana was able to put her on her leash and take her out for multiple walks :) she also send multiple pictures of my babies that made me happy, she is great I will definitely work again with her!”

“Laura is incredibly friendly and kind, and she was wonderful with my baby. Motown went with her so easily—he didn’t even hesitate, which is amazing because he never wants to leave my side! We’ll definitely be making Laura a regular part of our weekly routine.”

“Regina is a very experienced dog walker/pet sitter. Her professionalism is apparent from her first visit. She is not someone who walks dogs to make a few bucks...this is a business she takes very seriously. My dog very much enjoys her daily visits and is very excited when Regina arrives. She makes us aware of any concerns she may have with my dogs heath or if there is any concerns at my house during the visit, which gives me peace of mind. I recommend Regina to anyone looking for a professional and reliable caregiver for their pet.”

“Melinda was extremely responsive, very caring, and provided lots of pictures! We were able to fully relax on our vacation knowing the dogs were in great hands, can’t thank her enough! Highly recommend!”

About: I have taken care of numerous animals since before my teens. My love for them has motivated me to pursue a career in it as a veterinarian. I spent my high schools years interning at an exotic animal clinic and wild animal reserve. I also spent several years as a regular volunteer at my local animal rescue shelter caring for both dogs and cats alike. I am free most of the week, besides the times I have classes during the week and I'm free anytime on the weekends. Ensuring you pet's needs are met is my highest priority and will make them feel loved and cared for while you're away. It will vary depending on the pet and their recorded needs. The instructions I am given will be what I will do word for word. I will also ensure your pet is kept in a clean environment and all their needs are always attended to.
About: I have two dogs which have been my biggest teachers on love, patience and responsibility. I think those are virtues that make the most sense when they are shared and extended. I know the happiness formula is not the same for every pet, and I am more than willing to learn the one of your treasured companion. I am a full-time student enrolled in online classes, which allows me to have a very flexible and open availability to care for your pet. I am committed to creating a safe and comfortable environment for your dog, following your specific instructions and routines, while keeping you informed and at ease.
About: I grew up with a dog since the age of 5 years old and feel so fortunate to know what kind of love a dog brings to a family/person. Not only was I able to see this with my family, but also with my neighbors and friends as I would care for their baby as well. I’m able to walk, feed, bathe, and give medication to your pet. I currently work as a rehabilitation technician at 3 nursing facilities from W-F. From Saturdays-Tuesdays, I am at home reading, studying, or watching Netflix shows. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
