About: Hello! My name is Mai. I'm a full-time graduate student working from home. I love dogs and believe that fur babies are equal to human babies. I have a 2 year-old pug, and if you live off of Ridgemoor, you have probably seen us walking. I just got out of the Army, so you will have a highly-energetic, motivated, and loving dog walker/sitter/drop-in buddy. I am able to adhere to any specifications that you have for your dog. I grew up around dogs and love being around them, so I will be sure to treat your pup with the utmost love and care. My hours are flexible, and I am able to assist in last minute situations. Do not fear, Mai is here! Send me a message if you have any further questions.
About: I have extensive experience volunteering at a dog shelter, where I spent several months walking various dogs around the facility and playing with them in a gated park area. Additionally, I have provided dog sitting services for multiple families, which involved visiting their homes several times a day to feed the dogs, take them outside, and spend quality time with them. I have also been around dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own. As a college student, I have a very open and flexible schedule. This allows me to prioritize pet care, giving dogs the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. I believe in showering pets with love and attention, especially when they are in a new environment. In my home, I dedicate a significant part of my day to my pets whether it's playing outside or snuggling on the couch. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I ensure they feel comfortable and safe by maintaining their routine, providing plenty of playtime, and offering affectionate companionship.

About: I grew up with family pets around, making me comfortable around all kinds of animals. I began to experience a deep passion for animals and pets, so much so that I got a seasonal job at a pet boarding facility called Pet Paradise. There I was around different dogs and cats all day. Since then, I have been volunteering at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, walking dogs and hanging out with the cats. I even participated in the Doggie Day Out program at the shelter! I’m pretty much open any day or time! I currently am unemployed and not in school, so I can work on the fly! Very flexible schedule, ready to work for your fur babies! I currently have a dog in the household that can not be around other dogs, but I am more than happy to treat your animal in your own home! I help take care of the dog here by walking and feeding him, I also do the same for the two cats we own!

Making sure they are let outside, feed, fresh water, loved. Also if you’re interested in a dog lover look no further. If your dog gets dirty or has a mess I’ll clean up. If you need plants watered I’ll take care of it. If you need light cleaning around the house I’ll take care of it(like vacuum only if provided) bring in the mail. If needed to take you dog to their favorite place if able to or if your dog wants to just snuggle on the couch is awesome as well. I like being able to help whenever I can. I have a somewhat flexible schedule. I love dogs. If I get into a good routine with your dog all the better. “Pua loves Kelly and warmed up to her quickly, which is rare since she is a rescue and still very timid towards people. Would recommend her to take care of your dogs, even those needing special care and patience like Pua.”
“Karina was absolutely the best! I’ve never used this app! And she kept in touch with me. Let me know everything. I love my puppy Dexter so much and she gave him the walk and love he needed while I was at work! Seriously Thanks again!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
