About: **When you book with me, you book with a professional that is ALWAYS THERE. I have not missed a visit for my clients in the 4 years I’ve been doing this. I do my best to be as available as possible. My animals are my world and finding someone trustworthy enough to place them in their care is a struggle I relate to. It brings me the most joy to bond with every animal I meet. I will give your furry family the special attention they deserve 💛 My schedule is flexible and I'm willing to accommodate specific needs. Send me a message if you have special requests and we'll figure it out! I follow the instructions of each individual owner. Safety and trust are my top priority. Each pet has different needs and I like to individualize their experience.
About: Hi! I have a 5 year old Maltese terrier/Shih Tzu mix named Rue. Although Rue is only 8 pounds (she thinks she’s 80) I have plenty of experience with larger dogs including Rottweilers, golden retrievers and Dobermans. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or cuddles, I’d love to keep your family member safe! I just graduated high school this year! I’m working part-time over the summer and trying to save up money for college. My schedule is fairly flexible and I can move things around with a few days notice if necessary. I make sure that I’m familiar with the dogs routines and needs to give them the best care possible. Whatever care you’d like provide for your dog I can provide!
About: I’ve been a lifelong animal lover my whole life and have had pets of my own since I was little. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. Whether it’s a walk around the block or just some company during the day, I can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend. I am currently not working and have lots of availability during the week and weekends. Available every day for a walk or a check-in. Also available for the holidays!! My goal is to keep your pets happy, safe, and relaxed while you’re away. For dogs I can walk and feed them. For cats I can feed them, clean their little, and keep them entertained.
About: I have extensive experience volunteering at a dog shelter, where I spent several months walking various dogs around the facility and playing with them in a gated park area. Additionally, I have provided dog sitting services for multiple families, which involved visiting their homes several times a day to feed the dogs, take them outside, and spend quality time with them. I have also been around dogs my entire life and currently have two of my own. As a college student, I have a very open and flexible schedule. This allows me to prioritize pet care, giving dogs the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. I believe in showering pets with love and attention, especially when they are in a new environment. In my home, I dedicate a significant part of my day to my pets whether it's playing outside or snuggling on the couch. When caring for pets in my clients' homes, I ensure they feel comfortable and safe by maintaining their routine, providing plenty of playtime, and offering affectionate companionship.
About: My family is grateful to still care for our 17 year old senior dog, Ace. We have had Ace since he was 8 months old. I have the energy to handle a puppy and the patience to handle a senior dog. I also have my own cat, Sophia. I truly understand the temperaments of both animals. I’ve been trusted to care for my own pets as well as my friends. I am available throughout the week as I am dedicated to Rover full time. I have my own vehicle so that makes traveling seamless. I am available from 10am-10pm most days. I understand that each pet will have their own specific way to be cared for. A pet is absolutely individualistic and there is no one way to care for everyone’s pet. Therefore, I will follow the directions as explained in order to keep the fur baby’s routine.

“Lora was wonderful! She was flexible throughout our busy schedule to walk Lukas and took great care of him. very much enjoyed receiving pictures of their adventures. Would HIGHLY recommend to any and all!”

About: Many years of experience in caring for our fur babies, no matter what species caring comes natural for me. It would be my pleasure, to do my part in a time of need. :) I currently work from home so that means more TLC for your pet. Work starts at 8 and ends at 4:30pm full time. Mon- Fri but I’m pretty flexible to cater to any needs that may arise. Since I live in an apartment there is a fenced in dog park onsite as well as other grassy areas to play. I normally walk pets 3x a day but if your dog needs more walks then simply request it and I’ll be happy to fulfill your needs. :)
“Cat is one of the best sitters we’ve ever had. She is so accommodating, communicates well, and really cares about our dogs. She even stayed longer than required to play with them and make sure they were happy. I would recommend her a million times over. Thank you so much Cat!!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
