About: An FFA (Future Farmers of America) member who helped with our doggy daycare program for a year ranging from medium to small dogs. I also regularly volunteer at Humane Society caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, bunnies etc. I have plenty of experience with dogs and cats of all ages! As a full-time college student, I make sure to be able to focus my time on caring for your furbabies! Please contact me so we can schedule around my classes! I highly recommend a meet and greet so the pet(s) gets used to me and I get an idea of their personality. I will also do a quick briefing on any health problems I should know before hand, certain procedures that are common place for your pet to ensure they're comfortable with me and make sure we are on the same page for care.
About: I've taken care of dogs/cats personally for 20+ years whether it be my own pets or neighbors. Walk, bathe & medicate with lots of love to dole out. I am currently an empty nester and available to come to your location to care for your fur babies so they are comfortable from the sounds of a kennel. My schedule is flexible. My home is currently not available for home services as I have 6 cats but I am very willing and able to come to your home so your fur babies can stay in their environment and enjoy their creature comforts.
About: I have grown up with animals my whole life. I lived with a Bichon Frise and Tabby cat in my family home. I have pet sat my friends furry pals for over 10 years and treat them like my own. I currently have 2 pups living with me who are my whole world. Rover allows me to spend time with other animals and love them as my own! I currently work a hybrid job that allows me to work from home Mondays and Fridays (also having weekends off). This is a great mix for anyone who is taking long weekend vacations. I have a large apartment with 1 dog to keep your fur baby company. We have lots of activities, a doggy park across the street, and lots of toys to keep them occupied. If your pet is used to crate training I can certainly do that as well.
“Michael was terrific in caring for our overactive 105-pound labrador, Buddy. He arrived timely and was extremely friendly & professional. Following one-hour walks with running, Buddy came home calm and well exercised. My wife and I are happy to highly recommend Michael for dog care.”
“Camron is the sweetest person that you could ever use to trust your animal in her care! Her professionalism is top notch. If I could rate her more than 5 stars, I would! When I got home from my trip, I could almost see the disappointment in my dogs eyes when he saw that I was home and not his buddy Camron! Grateful to have found her.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting over 40 years. With over 19 years experience in the Vet tech field, I began pet sitting for extra income. From cats, birds, rabbits, turtles and numerous dog breeds. I absolutely love pet sitting, fostering relationships and meeting new pups and ppl. I’m relocating to the area and expanding my pet clientele. I’m on your schedule but more importantly I make your pets schedule the utmost priority. I have two beautiful dogs, one senior and the other quite rambunctious. We enjoy long walks, cuddles, bones and barking. Also sunbathing in our grassy fenced in yard on sunny Florida days.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for around seven years now. I have experience with dog walking and extended drop-ins. I love to bond with each pet I care for! I can care for your pet during both the weekdays and weekends! I can do drop-ins or walks in the afternoons for now. I’m almost on summer break, so I’ll be available more after May :) I will respect your routine and utilize the resources that are made available to me when caring for your pet! I will always keep the house picked up before leaving.
About: I have been around dogs and pets my entire life and genuinely enjoy caring for animals of all ages and personalities. For the past four years, I have owned and cared for my French Bulldog, which has given me hands-on experience with daily care routines, attention to health needs, exercise, feeding schedules, and providing a loving, safe environment. In addition to caring for my own dog, I have frequently pet sat for friends and family members, giving me experience with different breeds, temperaments, and care styles. What sets me apart is my reliability, patience, and ability to make pets feel comfortable and secure while their owners are away. I understand the importance of communication, consistency, and treating every pet like family. I am also attentive to the needs of both younger pets who require energy and structure, as well as senior dogs who may need extra patience, gentleness, and routine-focused care. I am retired and able to pet sit on almost any day of the week during daylight hours. I am open to walks throughout the day and overnight sitting in the right situation. I have a condo and regularly take my dog on walks throughout the complex. I walk her around the lake. She enjoys being outside and interacting with other dogs.
About: Hello, I'm Alexandra, but you can call me Alex. Recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from FSU, I am passionately pursuing my goal of attending vet school. I am a certified Vet Tech Assistant, equipped with the knowledge and skills to provide excellent care for your beloved pets. Having garnered experience from dog and cat sitting for both neighbors and clients from my vet office, I bring a wealth of hands-on expertise to ensure the well-being of your furry friends. My flexible hours allow me to cater to your pet's needs, offering services ranging from dog walks to bathing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and medication administration for all types of pets. With a genuine love for animals and a keen understanding of their health needs, I strive to create a safe and enjoyable environment for your pets. Leveraging my medical background, I can assess and handle various situations to ensure your pets receive the best care possible. All I need to know are any specific medications or food allergies your fur babies may have. I'm eager to lend a helping hand in caring for your pets and can't wait to meet and bond with your furry friends. 💕🐾 I'm applying to vet schools with a flexible schedule for pet care. I communicate openly, ensuring transparency and collaboration, aligning with my commitment to responsible pet care. By treating every home with respect and the same care, I would want someone to treat my house. I want to be respectful in everyone's home.
About: I never met a dog who didn't love my vibe but what makes me stand out is that I have experience working with dogs cancer, seizures and anxiety. I'm currently studying for me CNA and Home Health Aid licenses during the weekdays so it would be best for me to work throughout the weekend. Whenever I'm with my friends and their dogs I am not assertive while the owner is present but I'm always sure to maintain boundaries with pets. In general I think that my calm demeanor is what makes pets enjoy my company.

Kelli has been a true life saver for me and my Pitbull girly. Like most pits, my girl is stubborn. Kelli is able to handle any situation with ease and compassion. There is always great communication and support whenever needed. Kelli goes above and beyond in caring for my dog, whether it’s a quick walk or in-home stays. I truly could not have asked for a better person to be a part of my dogs life.

David was absolutely excellent both professional and personable and my dog Cody loves him. He is the best that I have ever had on rover.com We appreciate him and highly recommend him to Everyone! He also very generously helped me with a few tasks, Clean Cody’s dog water dish and filled it back up and he took my garbage out So highly impressed with him! I was recently attacked by a dog and had surgery and can’t walk for a few months, so everything that he has done has been a wonderful added touch, his kindness & generosity has touched my heart. David is definitely a wonderful man, reliable, responsible, respectful, and many other great traits . Definitely a pleasure to meet him & his wonderful self.

Nancy was incredibly patient and kind with our little yorkie Tiffany who isn’t very sociable and can be a bit cautious around new people, but Nancy took the time to understand Tiffany and quickly found common language with her. Thank you so much, Nancy, for taking such great care of Tiffany 🐾

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
