His breed needs a lot of time to warm up to strangers and new caretakers/sitters when someone he knows isn’t present and she’s been very understanding and patient learning that he will not be okay going on walks with her alone without me going too for an initial period of time but my Auguste is starting to warm up to her after just a few visits! I think soon he’ll be excited to see her when she comes to walk him!”

About: I've taken care of dogs/cats personally for 20+ years whether it be my own pets or neighbors. Walk, bathe & medicate with lots of love to dole out. I am currently an empty nester and available to come to your location to care for your fur babies so they are comfortable from the sounds of a kennel. My schedule is flexible. My home is currently not available for home services as I have 6 cats but I am very willing and able to come to your home so your fur babies can stay in their environment and enjoy their creature comforts.
About: I have 1 year of experience working at dog shelters and around 1.5 years of experience working as a dog daycare attendant. I have worked with dogs that have mild behavioral issues and am familiar with medications and allergies that dogs may have. I’m capable of meeting needs of low maintenance dogs, and I’m perfectly comfortable with hyper or large dog breeds. I’m a college student who will have classes during the first part of summer on Tuesday and Thursday. All other days I am available and may be available all days of the week after July 26 until August 20, 2025. I am flexible with times on the days I am available. I have 1 cat and 2 dogs in my own home, with frequent visits from other family members’ pets. I am familiar with crating dogs from my previous work experience as well as basic training or discipline (sit, paw, etc.). I have used a variety of collars, leashes, and harnesses based on the dog’s needs or personality. I have worked with dogs of all sizes, backgrounds, and varying temperaments. I am comfortable caring for multiple dogs at a time and for prolonged periods. I enjoy playing with hyper dogs, but also loving on calmer, more relaxed dogs.
