Reliable Pets Caregiver

I've been caring for animals for over fifteen years — starting with my own two dogs and quickly becoming the person friends and neighbors called first when they traveled. What began as favors turned into something I take seriously: I've looked after everything from eight-week-old puppies to a seventeen-year-old cat who needed delicate care and put on a diet on a strict schedule. Two things set me apart. First, puppy and senior dogs: I've raised three puppies through their first year, so I'm comfortable with leash pulling and senior care. As older pets need a slower pace, gentler handling, and someone who notices small changes — a limp, a skipped meal, a little more stiffness in the morning. I send daily updates with photos, and I'm not shy about calling you if something seems off. I also handle the less glamorous parts without complaint: medication routines, post-surgery restrictions, cats who want nothing to do with me for the first three days, and homes that need to be left exactly as I found them.

Momo loves pets! She cared for our pit bull for a week while we were out of town. She also walks him when we aren’t home for the day. She is responsible and makes sure our pup is loved, clean, and well walked. Momo seems to love walking our 63-pound dog!

Momo is a natural with my dog. She clearly loves him and he loves her back! She is meticulous in her care for him and I have a sense of peace leaving him with her because I know he will be safe and cared for!

Schedule

Mornings, before work. Early morning is my best slot. I can walk dogs starting around 6:00 a.m. through roughly 8:30 a.m., so your dog gets a real walk and a bathroom break before the day starts — not a rushed five-minute loop around the block. Mid-day, on my work breaks. I get a lunch break and a couple of shorter breaks, and I can use them for walks or drop-in visits. That's the gap most owners worry about the long stretch between the morning walk and coming home. I can break it up, so your dog isn't waiting eight hours. Exact timing varies a little by the day, so tell me your ideal mid-day window and I'll tell you honestly whether it fits. After work. I'm available again in the late afternoon and early evening, typically from around 5:30 p.m. onward, for a longer walk or a play session. Before bedtime. I can also do a final walk late in the evening — usually between 9:00 and 10:30 p.m. — so your dog ends the day with a bathroom break instead of a long overnight wait. For puppies and senior dogs, that last walk often matters most. Weekends. My availability is wider on weekends, so morning, mid-day, and evening walks are all easier to arrange. I keep a regular weekly rotation, so repeat bookings hold the same time slot week after week, and I'll confirm every booking in advance. If your dog needs a set walk time that isn't on this list, ask — I can often shuffle things around.

Safety, trust & environment

I offer both drop-in visits and walks, and I can care for pets in your home. Here's how I handle each part of it. In your home. I treat your space the way I'd want mine treated. I arrive when I say I will, and I leave things where I found them — doors locked, lights as you left them, trash taken out if you asked. I'll happily follow a written routine posted on the fridge, and I always text when I arrive and when I leave so you're never wondering whether someone showed up. Around your pets. I keep to your pet's normal food, portions, and schedule rather than improvising. I don't introduce new treats, new food, or new people without asking you first. If your dog is nervous with strangers, I'll take the first visit slowly — sitting on the floor, letting them come to me, no forcing. Same with cats: some need a week before they'll eat in front of you, and that's fine. Walks and outings. Every dog goes out on a properly fitted collar or harness and a leash I check before we leave. I keep dogs away from other dogs unless you've told me they're friendly, and I avoid busy roads, hot pavement, and unfamiliar off-leash areas. In warm weather I test the asphalt with my hand before we walk on it — if it's too hot for me to hold, it's too hot for paws. Health and emergencies. I ask for your vet's name and number, an emergency clinic, and a reachable contact before the first booking. If something serious happens, I get your pet care first, then call you — and I won't hesitate to go straight to a vet or ER if waiting seems wrong.

A typical day

Every day starts the same way: I learn your pet's routine before I meet them, then run their day the way they're used to it. The fun comes inside that structure, not instead of it. Morning visits. Dogs get out early, while the sidewalks are still cool and quiet. We walk a route your dog knows, and I let them stop and sniff — that's how a dog reads the news. For high-energy dogs I'll add a short run or a game of fetch if there's a safe spot. Back inside: fresh water, breakfast on your schedule, and a wipe-down if it's been wet or muddy. For cats, the morning is about the basics done well — fresh food and water, a clean litter box, and a few minutes of play before I go. id-day and evening. Mid-day is a bathroom break and a stretch, or a walk if we've set that up. Evenings are the best time for the fun stuff — a longer walk, a game session, or just hanging out while your pet does whatever they enjoy. Senior dogs set the pace themselves: a slow sniff-heavy stroll and gentle brushing are their version of a great day. Before bed. A final walk, water topped up, lights checked, and one more bit of attention — a few minutes of petting or a last round of play for a cat who's just waking up for the night shift. Updates. You'll get photos and a short note each visit, so you see the fun rather than just hearing that it happened. Tell me one or two things your pet genuinely loves — the specific toy, the specific game, the weird thing that makes them lose their mind — and I'll build the day around those.
