About: I have had all kind of pets my whole life ranging from 130 lb mastiff bulldog mix to a 7 lb cat and I also have plenty of experience with fishtanks as well so I would be happy to take care of those too I'm very passionate about the well being of animals and will not only give them the best care but rest assured they will get lots of love aswell. I'm never intimidated by cats with strong boundaries and large dogs, I actually prefer large dogs. I look forward to taking care of your pets thank you!!! I'm currently working Friday through Monday in the evenings so weekdays I am pretty free for all pet care, and can be free for morning visits Friday through Monday I'm not currently offering to board pets, definitely in the future when I get my own place as of now I am just doing house sitting and pet visits and I will always make sure to respect your property and rules of your house and make sure your animals get the best care possible!

About: Hi, I’m Skyy — a 27-year-old animal lover based in Tarpon Springs, Florida. What sets me apart is that I genuinely treat every pet like they’re my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, so I focus on creating a safe, loving, and stress-free experience for both pets and owners. Whether your dog loves long walks, extra playtime, cuddles, or just someone patient and calm to keep them company, I adjust my care to fit their personality and needs. I pay attention to the little things — keeping routines consistent, making sure pets feel comfortable, and giving them the affection and attention they deserve while you’re away. I’m dependable, communicative, and truly passionate about animals, so you can feel confident knowing your pet is being cared for by someone who genuinely loves what they do. One of the reasons I’m able to provide reliable and flexible pet care is because I work part time from home. This gives me a more open and adaptable schedule compared to many sitters and allows me to dedicate quality time throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and check-ins. Because I’m not tied to a strict 9–5 office schedule, I’m able to be more available for midday walks, last-minute needs, consistent potty breaks, and extra attention for pets who may need more companionship during the day. I genuinely enjoy getting outside, staying active, and spending time with animals, so dog walking fits naturally into my daily routine rather than feeling rushed or squeezed in. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I provide a clean, calm, and trustworthy environment where pets can feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I have a fully fenced-in yard that allows dogs to safely play, explore, and get exercise in a secure space with close supervision at all times. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can truly trust, which is why I focus on creating a stress-free and loving environment where animals feel comfortable and at home. I’m attentive, patient, and always mindful of each pet’s individual needs, routines, and safety. Whether it’s during walks, playtime, feeding, or relaxing indoors, your pet will always be cared for with love, responsibility, and close attention.

About: I have a passion for all types of dogs and cats. I have experience with both small and large dogs, and all ages as well. I will care for your dog or cat like they are my own. I recently lost my 17 year old mini poodle, and would enjoy the fun and joy that pets bring. She was a rescue, and I have worked with a couple of Rescue Groups from my hometown in Philly. I live in Palm Harbor and have watched dogs in many local areas including Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Clearwater and Trinity. I would enjoy long walks (or short walks if they prefer) with your dog, in the beautiful Florida sunshine. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

About: I am currently raising my second labrador retriever. Jackson is a highly energetic, friendly dog that loves his friends and loves to make new friends! Additionally, to raising my own dogs, I have sat for my friend's dogs for years both in my home and in their own home. I currently work from home and will accommodate all of your furry friend's needs as best as I can! I am currently working from home and have a dog of my own that keeps me busy! I have a very flexible schedule, and I do my best to accommodate all requests. My own dog is very social and friendly. I will always make sure your dog is cared for as I would care for my own. I do not charge extra for feeding, refreshing the water, or administering oral medication. My own dog has the run of the house - he either runs around in the yard or snuggles on the couch at his leisure.

About: I’ve had dogs in the family since a little kid. I truly love dogs and went to spend as much time as I can with them I’m currently in school only 2 days for 3 hours. So that leaves plenty of time to go on walks, play at the park, and go to the beach I have a fenced in yard and I have 2 friendly dogs myself to keep your dog company. But if your dog isn’t friendly we can keep them separate in the house

About: I have been around and taking care of dogs since I could walk. I love all kinds and sizes of dogs. I will always put your dogs interests ahead of me when I take care of them. Making sure they are let outside, feed, fresh water, loved. Also if you’re interested in a dog lover look no further. If your dog gets dirty or has a mess I’ll clean up. If you need plants watered I’ll take care of it. If you need light cleaning around the house I’ll take care of it(like vacuum only if provided) bring in the mail. If needed to take you dog to their favorite place if able to or if your dog wants to just snuggle on the couch is awesome as well. I like being able to help whenever I can. I have a somewhat flexible schedule. I love dogs. If I get into a good routine with your dog all the better. I provide in your home service from walking or if you have a fenced in yard I’ll play with your dog outside. I provide safety by knowing my surroundings and knowing what your dog is capable of.

About: I am deaf. I worked at Petco for 2 years and at the Animal Daycare and Boarding for a year and half in Anchorage, AK. I worked and volunteered at the National Zoo for community and at the National Museum of Natural History for my biology internship in Washington, D.C.. I have a dog with me in FL, and I have other three animals (2 ferrets and a leopard gecko) in Alaska. I work at Best Care Animal Hospital since September 2022, as an animal care attendant, kennel duties. I am very good at taking care of other animals included small animals, birds, reptiles and sometimes fish. I completed all my three online programs included Veterinary Assistant, with diploma; Pet Grooming Certificate; and Dog Obedience Training for about 3 years. I was an animal care attendant at the animal hospital since September 2022 before I am promoted to being technician assistant since March 2026. Interested to know more about me (which I will provide my resume)? I would offer services once I have my own place but not right away. I need to focus on dog walking mostly. I am available those evenings, Sundays and Mondays. Saturdays every other weeks, depending on my kennel schedule at the hospital. I’m currently working full time, doing my kennel duties. Sometimes i do my janitorial duties, it is part of my kennel job. Walks, poop scoop, feed, do cats, cleaning chores (daily, weekly and monthly), clean cages, setting up cages for boarders. Numerous tasks to do in kennel. I live in an apartment, allowing the limited number of pets is 2. Hard to care animals at my apt. I have a dog. I prefer to wait on owning a place to pet sit.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
