“Jillian is amazing! My boys love her… even the one who can be standoffish warmed up quickly to her. She’s incredibly reliable and thorough in providing updates on walks. I’m super grateful she’s available to take care of my pups and highly recommend her for any pet care! She’s awesome!”

“Pua loves Kelly and warmed up to her quickly, which is rare since she is a rescue and still very timid towards people. Would recommend her to take care of your dogs, even those needing special care and patience like Pua.”
About: I’ve had dogs in the family since a little kid. I truly love dogs and went to spend as much time as I can with them I’m currently in school only 2 days for 3 hours. So that leaves plenty of time to go on walks, play at the park, and go to the beach I have a fenced in yard and I have 2 friendly dogs myself to keep your dog company. But if your dog isn’t friendly we can keep them separate in the house
“Diane is absolutely marvelous. Always readily available and provided the best and funniest updates on our goldendoodle Luna. Makes sure our Luna has ample amount of play time, excersise and cuddle time. Would recommend 100% and you will love her!”

About: I've had dogs since I was a kid.Worked in boarding kennel for years while in the Navy. Trained hunting dogs in high school, housebroke many. Love and understand dogs. I've retired a few months ago, so I spend most days playing ,walking my beagle. Gunner likes other dogs and is playful but I think he's a little lonely,so a play friend would keep him company and in shape! I have a fenced yard and live in a pretty big house. I walk my dog at least three times a day and he has access to fenced yard and food and water ofcourse.
About: My whole life, I’ve grown up caring for and loving both cats and dogs. Currently, I have one dog, Gus, and one cat, Vanna, and they are the sweetest! I truly believe we’re all lucky to have furry friends in our lives. Over the years, I’ve helped my stepmom with her Rover account by completing drop-in visits, boarding dogs, and taking them on walks. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals—they always make my day better, and I love meeting new furry faces! Pets never fail to make me smile, make me laugh, or brighten my mood, even on tough days. My goal is to provide your pet with the same love, attention, and care they receive at home while you’re away. I hope to give you peace of mind by doing everything I can to ensure your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I am 19, I currently work doing photography at restaurants, my schedule is pretty flexible & open! In a few months I will be moving - the areas surrounding me will be Dunedin, Safety Harbor, Clearwater, and Largo. I’m looking forward to bringing my services to these areas and continue working with all my amazing clients—both old and the new ones I get to meet! :) I will do all of the things you ask of me to the best of my ability. I am here to help you & provide for your pet. Whatever it is that you need whether it’s refilling their food & water, giving them their medication, taking them on a walk, taking them outside for a potty break, playtime with their toys, giving them some love & attention etc.. You name it I probably can do it!

About: I am currently raising my second labrador retriever. Jackson is a highly energetic, friendly dog that loves his friends and loves to make new friends! Additionally, to raising my own dogs, I have sat for my friend's dogs for years both in my home and in their own home. I currently work from home and will accommodate all of your furry friend's needs as best as I can! I am currently working from home and have a dog of my own that keeps me busy! I have a very flexible schedule, and I do my best to accommodate all requests. My own dog is very social and friendly. I will always make sure your dog is cared for as I would care for my own. I do not charge extra for feeding, refreshing the water, or administering oral medication. My own dog has the run of the house - he either runs around in the yard or snuggles on the couch at his leisure.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
