“Absolutely would recommend Stephanie she made me feel completely confident and safe that my fur baby would be completely taken care of the whole time. She updated with pictures and descriptions of everything. Lucy did while she was there. She made sure she was fed and had freshwater litter box cleaned, and that all my stuff was locked up before she left. She even took the trash out as well. My cat loved her from the moment she met her and felt connected to her. I would highly recommend you book Stephanie she is trustworthy and absolutely a great pet sitter.”

About: My family and I have been fostering dogs for over 10 years. I am a HUGE animal lover and literally treat them like my child haha! I’m actually wanting to start my own pet business one day and figured I should get as much experience as possible! I do currently have a part time job but am home after 2pm with the rest of my day available. After that timeframe, I’m more than happy to take your pets out every 0-2 hours to use the restroom and also play with them at least once a day I’m located in a golf course neighborhood with a patio. The area is definitely big enough to take long walks around the neighborhood so that they can burn some energy! I have experience with unfriendly animals as well and are able to take care of them regardless of how they act

“I can't say enough positive things about Angela. She was able to accommodate my last minute trip. She kept in contact throughout the day, provided adorable updates and pictures. Even though I was out of town, I felt my animals were in good hands, and I had peace of mind. I'm actually looking forward to going out of town again because I know my babies will be well taken care of. Thank you Angela!! I appreciate you!”
“Ashley is awesome!! Very caring towards the pups and very flexible and communicative with scheduling! We will absolutely be working with Ashley again whenever we need some help :-)”

“Kayleigh is hands down the best dog sitter/walker of all time. She is very timely, organized, communicates well and truly loves my dog George. He knows her name and gets so excited with I tell him she is coming by today. I have referred her to many of my coworkers and friends.”

About: I will always go above & beyond to treat your pup with the utmost care, they are family. I have experience with administering medication and any special needs. I am a stay at home mom and can provide daycare. I will give you updates and photos - help me keep your pup on a similar routine by providing a detailed schedule - include meal times, how often they need to go out, if you allow them on furniture, as much information you can give ensures a fun and comfy stay! I have a beautiful, clean home that backs to a conservation area. Our yard is fully fenced and we have a pool, should your pup like to take a swim!! Your dog will have the run of all main indoor living areas too. We have a 8 year old black female lab, called Luna, who is very sociable - been to her own doggie daycare too!! She loves to meet new pups and has lots of energy! We also have one cat which is used to dogs but will ‘disappear’ when they have enough!
About: When I was 8 years old me and my sister were gifted a puppy, it was our responsibility to walk, feed, play with, and train the puppy and we absolutely loved it. From then on my passion for dogs grew and I started taking care of neighbors, friends, and extended families dogs. Routine walking, dog sitting overnight, scheduled check ins, and training sessions are all things I learned how to do early on. Now, I have an 8 year old dog of my own who I've cared for and trained since she was only 3 months old. I'm a freshman in college and I am in summer right now so I have loads of time to spend with your pup and provide attentive care. I am not currently working so I also wont have the issue of fitting in time around another job. I am available any day of the week! I am extensively observant and also creative, so I can easily enrich your sweet pup while also protecting their boundaries and wellbeing. I keep a watchful eye on the pets I care for at all times and I'm very mindful of any risks. I have plenty of dog toys and treats I can provide to entertain your dog and keep them happy. I am very respectful and trustworthy and I hate letting people down!
“Jessie is absolutely awesome with my beagle mix, Jake! She walks him around the block and then brings him in and plays with him. He listens to her (not us, so much) and does what she says. Jake loves her and looks forward to her visits. I have Jessie booked until the end of the year because she is so good with him!! Highly recommended!”

“She took such good care of my two dogs! Was in contact with anything she had questions on and was so attentive with them! Absolutely will use her again when we need someone to watch our dogs”

About: I'm experienced with feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up after pets, administering medications, and keeping routines consistent while you're away. I also have plenty of experience caring for cats, including litter box maintenance (even robot litter boxes!), giving medications, and making sure they get lots of attention—or space, if that's what they prefer! I treat every pet like they're my own and always strive to provide reliable, loving care so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I currently have a complete open schedule so I can be flexible with your pets needs. I do go to the gym but that doesn’t take more than 2 hours. I can stay or just drop in your home & watch your fur babies so they feel safe, comfortable, and happy without disrupting their routine.
“Ashely is amazing. She truly cares about the pets she looks after and makes sure they eat and are okay before she leaves. She even fed them an extra day when my flight got cancelled! I will definitely be using her again”

“Thank you so much Karina! Your service is so appreciated and it is so amazing to know we can go out of time and trust our baby is being checked on and in good hands! Thank you for your time and effort with your drop in visits to keep or cat happy! We couldn’t be happier with the care provided 💕!”

“Linda goes above and beyond. Very caring, compassionate with my Buster and Blondie. Buster had stopped eating and drainage from eyes. He was dying. She talked to him and put the phone up to him for me to talk to him. He waited for me to get home Monday. Tuesday I took him to the vet and he had a very peaceful passing. A million thanks to Linda fir all she does. Debbie M”
“This was an excellent experience Katherine was on time every day and Oliver was well taken care of. All drop in visits lasted the full half an hour. I highly recommend Katherine she was amazing.”

About: I have three years' worth of work experience, with the last two years being at an animal hospital right here in Tampa! I worked as a veterinary assistant for the past two years where I trimmed nails, expressed anal glands, thoroughly cleaned ears, administered medications, preformed sanitary bathes on certain animals, and provided compassionate care. Before that, I worked in a furniture warehouse where I was forced to multitask, problem solve, think critically, perform organization, and communicate properly. I’m currently unemployed but attend an online university, so my schedule is very flexible. As far as animals go, I have two dogs and one cat. Both of my dogs are senior, so I’m used to providing senior type care. I’ve also had reptiles in the past. I have a fenced in yard and a screened in patio as well. My two dogs are both seniors and haven’t paid any attention towards strangers animals in the past. They wouldn’t be an issue.
“Great sitter. Came for meet and greet ahead of trip and had great communication. My dog was stressed after being left behind but Megan was beyond patient and made sure she was cared for. Will definitely rebook with Megan in the future.”

“Nadia was incredible with our 6-month old golden doodle puppy. She treated her like one of her own and wore her out (with walks and playing) each visit. She sent tons of pictures and it was clear both our pets were spoiled in our absence. There’s nothing better than peace of mind with the furr babies when we are out of town. Highly recommend Nadia!!!”

“I can't say enough about how awesome Sarah is...my dog runs to her when we arrive. Sarah is very flexible and responsive immediately...I had several sitters make appointments and cancel last minute...Sarah came through for me. Very reliable, and treats my dog so well!!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Seven Springs
Karina did a great job with our kitties. We could tell she was the one by the way she approached each of them when she came by in our pre-visit. She kept us in the loop while we were gone and was prompt and complete during her visits. We'll use her again if available for our future trips away.

We were initially nervous about leaving our clingy cat alone for a week+ but Stephanie immediately calmed those fears! A cat mama herself she was the perfect person to keep our sweet Sterling company while we were gone. We very much appreciated the pictures & videos she’d send from each visit and wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again. Thank you, Stephanie!

Holly is our ONLY choice for kitty cat sitting when it comes to our 14 year old Benny, who is very independent, sassy, set in his routine that Holly totally understands. I absolutely have not ONE worry when away from home because I know Holly is in charge. She goes above and beyond every time she kitty sits for us. What a gift to have peace of mind knowing Holly will take care of Benny the way we do, his routine isn't interrupted, he is well fed / fresh water , litter box changed, played with, pictures and updates were daily sent. Most of all, Holly truly loves him...this is very evident and genuine. We will be calling Holly again very soon for future pet sitting !!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Holly so much for your caring heart and attention to every detail !!!!!!! Appreciate you so much !

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
