“Blue absolutely loved them and I will definitely be rebooking with them on my next trip. My high energy dog was worn out each time and my family was comfortable with them. They were super attentive and friendly. I was comfortable with them taking care of my dog while I had no service and was not worried because of how much he loved them at the meeting.”

“Reagan was amazing to us and to our dogs. This was our first time using Rover and she made us feel very comfortable. Communication was great and she updated us with photos daily. The dogs seemed really happy and well taken care of when we got home this evening so they obviously loved her too! We also had a couch that was unexpectedly delivered while we were away and she managed to get the heavy boxes inside without us even asking her to. So sweet! I can’t recommend her enough and will be using her anytime we go out of town in the future if she is available!”

“Ashley is a very reliable sitter. She did well visits for our cat Bailey. She sent pictures and updates on Bailey. She sent updates on what she did. Thank you very much. We will recommend and use Ashley for future visits when needed”

“This was my 2nd booking with Sierra and both times she has been excellent with my babies ! Appreciate her photos and detailed notes about everything. Can’t wait to book again!”

“Valerie was once again amazing with our pups. She is so dedicated to the care and well being of our fur babies. She kept us informed on every visit and included pictures. We knew that they were in good hands. Thank you so much Valerie.”

“I can't say enough positive things about Angela. She was able to accommodate my last minute trip. She kept in contact throughout the day, provided adorable updates and pictures. Even though I was out of town, I felt my animals were in good hands, and I had peace of mind. I'm actually looking forward to going out of town again because I know my babies will be well taken care of. Thank you Angela!! I appreciate you!”
“Karina is kind and reliable. She visits my friend Gus. She sends me pictures of their time together. She answers all text messages promptly. I have such peace of mind knowing she is providing fun, treats and bathroom breaks while I'm working. Thank you Karina!”

About: I provide reliable drop-in visits and dog walking with a focus on keeping pets comfortable in their own home. I have years of experience with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including pet sitting, training, and working in a veterinary office and animal shelters. I’m patient, attentive, and treat every pet like my own. I offer afternoon and evening walks, as well as drop-in care. I work about 30 hours a week outside the home, but only in the morning/ early afternoons. I make sure each pet gets consistent, dependable care, attention, and companionship while you’re away. I prioritize maintaining your pet’s normal routine to reduce stress. I follow all instructions closely and provide a calm, safe, and clean environment during each visit. My goal is to help pets feel secure and owners feel confident in their care.

About: Hello there! I’m Kelly! I pride myself on being very open and communicative, especially with someone else’s furbaby! I know how hard it is to leave your pet, and you can expect a "love note" from them when you're away! April of 2016 I adopted an Australian Shepard--my copilot Marley. I quickly became "that dog woman." She goes everywhere with me. I started to take my neighbors two aussies with us on side adventures when their humans had to work. I took a lot of time to train my girl and we are working towards therapy dog certification to be able to spread the puppy love to local children's hospitals. I'm a graphic designer by trade which gives me the flexible schedule that I have! Love to draw and also an avid runner! In my off time i'm usually training or off adventuring with my Aussie and kiddos. I have a 2 and a 4 year old that are just as obsessed with doggos as I am! My dog loves people and other animals so much that I want to be able to the take care of dogs while their people are away or working. I know it puts my mind at ease knowing if I am out without my dog that she is safe, happy and having a good time. I want to do the same for other "pet parents." I work at night and during the day I’m living that mom and dog mom life. I’m mostly available for walks and possibly boarding in home if your doggo is pleasant and fits. I have a fenced in backyard with a shaded deck. Oh and a GIANT fan. We’re on our back porch often and it’s nice to have a break from the sun but still get fresh shady air!
“We can’t recommend Andres enough! Our English bulldog is very anxious and can be a handful, but she handled everything with so much patience and care. From the first meet-and-greet, it was clear that Andrea truly understands dogs with special needs. We got regular updates, photos, and videos, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. Our bulldog warmed up quickly and seemed so relaxed and happy in all the pictures. It’s such a relief to have found someone we trust completely with our fur baby. If you have a pup who needs a little extra TLC,Andrea is the one!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 15 and over the years I have gained the hearts of many families and their fur babies. I know how to read animals body language, gain the animals trust Before going to school I will always check up on any animal I am taking care of and after school I will go straight to take care of the animals and let them out. Before bed I will let the animals out to use the bathroom I will follow the list the owners give me and if the owners says I need to sleep at their house I will to make sure their animals are safe and happy. When caring for my animals at home I always makes sure they have fresh water, food and enough love
“Jessica did an outstanding job taking care of our kitty for a few days. While you can tell she loves animals, she also treats caretaking seriously as a business. Jessica was right on time for each visit. She took the time to provide detailed feedback on each visit- not just providing cursory info. She was very responsive each time I reached out to her. I asked that she wear our cat out with play each time, and Jessica delivered. Can't recommend more highly. Your fur babies will be in trustworthy hands.”

I will take care of your fur babies will all love and as if they were my own. If you have a set schedule/routine I don’t mind at all following it.
“Great sitter. Came for meet and greet ahead of trip and had great communication. My dog was stressed after being left behind but Megan was beyond patient and made sure she was cared for. Will definitely rebook with Megan in the future.”

About: I have had all kind of pets my whole life ranging from 130 lb mastiff bulldog mix to a 7 lb cat and I also have plenty of experience with fishtanks as well so I would be happy to take care of those too I'm very passionate about the well being of animals and will not only give them the best care but rest assured they will get lots of love aswell. I'm never intimidated by cats with strong boundaries and large dogs, I actually prefer large dogs. I look forward to taking care of your pets thank you!!! I'm currently working Friday through Monday in the evenings so weekdays I am pretty free for all pet care, and can be free for morning visits Friday through Monday I'm not currently offering to board pets, definitely in the future when I get my own place as of now I am just doing house sitting and pet visits and I will always make sure to respect your property and rules of your house and make sure your animals get the best care possible!

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Holiday
We couldn't be happier with our experience! From the moment we met Christy during our meet-and-greet, we felt confident that our kitties would be in wonderful hands — and she exceeded every expectation. Christy was incredibly reliable, always on time, and followed every instruction carefully, from feeding routines and cleaning the Litter-Robot, to making sure our cats got plenty of playtime and attention. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about their well-being and treated them as if they were her own. She provided thoughtful updates and photos throughout our trip, which helped us feel connected and confident that everything at home was going smoothly. Knowing our cats were happy and well cared for allowed us to truly enjoy our trip. Christy told us that caring for our cats felt like a dream gig because she lives nearby and they were such sweet companions. The truth is, finding her felt like a dream come true for us! We feel incredibly fortunate to have found someone so dependable, caring, and professional. Exactly the kind of person you hope to find when entrusting someone with your pets and home. We wouldn't hesitate to book her again – she is an exceptional pet sitter and person. Highly recommended!

As always, Ashley is amazing with our 3 boy cats. We even had an incident where one of the babies managed to get himself wedged in a tight spot, our neighbors were able to get him out but then he ran and hid. Ashley stayed an extra 25 mins after her drop-in was over just to make sure he was okay. So grateful for wonderful sitters like Ashley!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Holiday. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
