About: I have had all kind of pets my whole life ranging from 130 lb mastiff bulldog mix to a 7 lb cat and I also have plenty of experience with fishtanks as well so I would be happy to take care of those too I'm very passionate about the well being of animals and will not only give them the best care but rest assured they will get lots of love aswell. I'm never intimidated by cats with strong boundaries and large dogs, I actually prefer large dogs. I look forward to taking care of your pets thank you!!! I'm currently working Friday through Monday in the evenings so weekdays I am pretty free for all pet care, and can be free for morning visits Friday through Monday I'm not currently offering to board pets, definitely in the future when I get my own place as of now I am just doing house sitting and pet visits and I will always make sure to respect your property and rules of your house and make sure your animals get the best care possible!
“I spoke with all of my fur balls and they unanimously agreed that they enjoyed Diane’s visits very much. She did a great job on taking care of my babies and giving me updates each time on how it went. I would definitely recommend her again!”

“Our dog, Ranger, loves Christy! Christy takes the best care of Ranger when we are out of town. He always looks so happy in the pics Christy sends. Christy gives the best updates so we can enjoy our trip and know Ranger is doing good at home. 1000% recommend Christy!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and have experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I am comfortable with all stages of a dog’s life, from high-energy younger dogs that need structure and attention to older dogs that require more patience and gentle care. I also have experience administering medication and following specific care instructions, so I understand the importance of consistency and attention to detail when it comes to a pet’s health and routine. I have cared for dogs in a variety of settings and am confident handling different temperaments, energy levels, and needs. I am reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, which allows me to build trust quickly with both pets and their owners. My goal is always to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Pet care fits naturally into my summer routine, as I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the day for walks, drop-ins, and consistent care based on each dog’s needs. At this time, I focus on caring for pets in their own home, as I believe it helps them feel most comfortable and secure in a familiar environment. When caring for dogs, I prioritize safety, routine, and trust. I make sure to follow each owner’s specific instructions closely, whether that involves walking schedules, feeding, or any special care needs. I aim to create a calm, reliable experience so both pets and their owners feel confident and at ease.

I have developed more knowledge of pet allergies, sensitivities, and pet anxiety since having them. Animals hold a special place in my heart and I have always loved being around them. I’m currently working full time weekdays. I am open to house-sitting on the weekends. Checking in on your fur babies during the weekdays after work. “Claire was very communicative and went the extra miles to make our pups feel loved during her check ins. She was a great dog sitter and we’d recommend her for your furry friends!”

“Alexis and her Mom Debbie were so gracious to meet at our home prior to taking care of our dogs. They are both so sweet and caring. They took to our dogs very quickly and made us feel comfortable with them caring for them. Debbie did a great job of taking care of our dogs needs, checked in with us, took photos of them and provided feedback. She really was everything we hoped for! Will definitely book again!”
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was about 10. I have had different breeds of dogs such as Schnauzer, Poodle, Maltese, and an Australian Shepherd/lab mix. I have experience in taking care of multiple animals at a time and some experience administering medication to senior cats and dogs. I am going to be doing gig work so my schedule is as flexible as it needs to be. I can sit or drop in during the morning, day or evening. Since I will be taking care of pets in your home, I would utilize what is at my disposal as far as taking dogs out whether that's a fenced in yard or on a leash. I'd like to have a meet and greet to get to know where the food is kept and learn if your pet has any particulars when it comes to feeding, playing, etc.

Alex did a great job with my “kids” The doors to the house were locked … all 4 he would have used. The two water bowls were full and clean (no days of residue in the bottom ) Their dishes were clean and ready for the next meal . The cats litter boxes clean. For me it was having a stranger in my home that I was most concerned with… Alex came in, attended to the kids promptly, sent communication when needed and left the house. I am very pleased will use Alex in the future ☺️

Christina is an amazing sitter! My foster white German Shepherd, Lolly, was not used to being alone, and I work four days a week. Once Christina came into our life, Lolly came out of her shell. I love when I come home and Lolly is so happy and has energy, and a pep in her step. Christina leaves thorough notes about their time together, what they did, and how Lolly was, including her bathroom breaks and water bowl refills. It's essential for me to know all of this because we're getting Lolly ready to be adopted. I can't say enough good about Christina. She is the best! Signed, Carol and Lolly

Lindsay was fantastic with Indie, Francine, and Pearl. She was punctual, attentive to each dog’s individual needs, and went above and beyond—cleaning up messes and making sure everyone was comfortable. We appreciated the personalized care and will definitely be using her again. Highly recommended.

I can't say enough positive things about Angela. She was able to accommodate my last minute trip. She kept in contact throughout the day, provided adorable updates and pictures. Even though I was out of town, I felt my animals were in good hands, and I had peace of mind. I'm actually looking forward to going out of town again because I know my babies will be well taken care of. Thank you Angela!! I appreciate you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Holiday with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
