About: I've been caring for dogs since I was a child, and my love for animals has only grown over the years. In August 2023, I welcomed two cats into my family, which has given me firsthand experience caring for both dogs and cats and understanding their unique personalities and needs. Over the years, I've helped neighbors, friends, and family by caring for their beloved pets while they were away. Whether it's feeding, playtime, walks, or simply keeping them company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and understand that they often need extra patience, compassion, and attention. I'm comfortable administering medication, assisting with mobility, and providing specialized care, including changing diapers when needed. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining the routines they're familiar with. When it comes to walks, I'm happy to get outside no matter the weather. Rain or shine, hot or cold, I'm committed to making sure your dog gets the exercise, enrichment, and attention they need. As a non-smoker with a flexible schedule, I'm able to accommodate a variety of care needs and provide dependable, attentive service. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family, and I take that responsibility seriously. I'll care for your pets as if they were my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I am currently not working, so this would be my full-time job! I am extremely flexible and am able to move things around in my schedule to fit your needs. Happy to work around your schedule! At this time, I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes through house sitting and drop-in visits. I believe many pets feel happiest and most comfortable in their familiar environment, where they can stick to their normal routines and experience less stress while you're away. My priority is always your pet's safety, comfort, and well-being. I carefully follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, medication routines, exercise needs, and household rules. I'm comfortable crating dogs when needed, administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, and providing any additional care your pet requires. Whether your dog enjoys multiple walks throughout the day, your cat loves interactive playtime, or your senior pet needs a little extra patience and attention, I'm happy to tailor my care to their individual needs. I'll make sure they receive plenty of love, exercise, enrichment, and companionship while maintaining the routine they're used to. I also understand that inviting someone into your home requires a great deal of trust. I treat every home with the same respect and care that I would my own. You can count on me to be dependable, communicate regularly, and send photo and message updates so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is simple: to provide a safe, calm, and loving experience for your pet while giving you complete peace of mind during your time away.

About: I understand not all dogs can be put in big group settings, and I want people to be able to leave their dog in a comfortable environment. I have owned two frenchies and two golden doodles since my childhood. During my time at college I have volunteered at SafeHaven in Iowa, taking dogs outside to play and helping clean the place. I love all animals and just want to spread my love. I just graduated college and will be taking a gap year before dental school. I am an animal lover and would love to spend my free time helping dog parents take care of there babies! I just finished up college athletics and am physically capable of just about any labor needed for dogs. I will treat your homes with respect and help keep everything clean.
“Kristen went above and beyond for my Bruno! And she did it on short notice and a holiday none the less. Couldn't be more thankful for her dropping in. I will ask for her again!!”

About: I have been taking care of my German Shepherd for 11 years! We love going on hikes, walks, and to the beach together. I am a Behavior Analyst that works with children with developmental and social delays. I also have experience with administering medication as my dog suffers from allergies. I've used rover with my dog for years and now am excited to work for this great company meeting great dogs! Can also take care of parrots! I have a 3 year old sun conure. I am currently available full time for week days and weekends! I love forward to working with you and your furbaby/ furbabies. Message me with any questions. Pet friendly, warm, and loving environment! I treat your pets like family! They deserve the best! You will feel at ease knowing that your pups are well taken care of.
“Heather is amazing!!! This was my first experience leaving my dog.. He was injured just before I had to leave. He is on steroids, has head harness, & has never been without family… She went way above & beyond to make him comfortable. She is wonderful & I would recommend her to everyone ❤️”

“Wow, what a great job Peyton did with my 2 dogs! She went above and beyond. She was able to take my puppy, who is extremely energetic, on a long walk, and my pup is a real puller and pretty strong. I feel confident that my fur babies are in good hands while I am away from home. I am going to book her again for tomorrow morning. 😊”

“Rick did a great job and treated my Ozzy like he was one of his own. I would highly recommend his services his background in dogs is impressive. Will be using his services again in the future.”

“Fabulous. Simply fabulous. Everyone was happy, healthy, and well cared for. Even the blind cats took to Sam. She is very good to everyone in the pack we have here, and a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely use her again if possible.”

About: I have had dogs all of my life, and genuinely love the companionship they bring to my home. I have a rescue dog, Remi, who is an Australian Cattle Dog mix and a Jack Russell mix named Henry. I take the dogs on regular walks and have a fenced yard. I have experience with big, small, pups, and seniors, and breeds ranging from pugs to pit bulls. I am skilled in oral medication, doggy first aid, and can assist in continuing basic training while you are away. I have the flexibility to work from home and can come home for lunch if I need to be in the office on a given day. We have a fenced yard and both Remi and Henry are friendly pups that love to play. I always like to take the dogs on at least one walk a day.
“Melissa is top notch. Very responsive and very kind. She politely told me she had another pet sitting obligation booked but was able to stop by afterwards which worked even better for me. My boy is older and does not walk stairs real well and she boosted him up the stairs from behind as well. Absolutely everything you hope for when you come on Rover. 5 stars would not be enough. Thank you Melissa!!”

Amanda was wonderful! She came by twice today to check on and walk Novi while we were at the beach all day, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing Novi was in great hands. We absolutely love her, and Novi does too! We’re so grateful for how dependable, caring, and sweet she is. Highly recommend!

Jennifer did a fantastic job caring for my dog while I was out of town. From the moment we connected, she was professional, dependable, and genuinely caring. She kept me updated, made sure my dog was well cared for, and gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. When I returned home, my dog was happy, healthy, and clearly comfortable with Jennifer. It’s obvious she truly loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. I would highly recommend Jennifer to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate to have her watch my dog again in the future.

Brookelynn is phenomenal! This was our first experience using Rover for our 4 fur babies and initially I was very nervous to have someone outside of our friends and family watch them. Brookelynn put all our worries at ease! Her and her husband were so attentive with our dogs Jax and Leo (who can be an handful) and took extra special care of our cats Opal and Rue. I’ll definitely be working with them again! Thank you both for providing my babies with the best care ❤️

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
