Dogs come in all shapes, sizes, and temperaments -and I love learning the unique rhythm of each one. I've cared for everything from high-energy herders (like Aussies and Labs) to strong, sensitive guardians (like Rottweilers and Shepherds) to sweet, stubborn dachshunds and playful pit bulls. Each one taught me something different. Whether your dog needs a structured walk, mental stimulation, cuddles on the couch, or just a steady presence to check in during the day, l'm here to help them feel safe and grounded while you're away. I take note of body language, mood, routine, and preferences-because that's how trust is built. I'm calm, clear, and consistent, and I always bring warmth and patience to every visit. I'm happy to accommodate quirks, medical routines, or dogs still learning their leash manners. Note: I listed "2 years" of experience to reflect the time l've been formally offering dog care services outside of friends and family. In reality, l've been walking, feeding, playing with, and staying with dogs for much longer through pet sitting, house sitting, and childcare settings. When I'm in someone's home-whether yours or mine— show up with care, respect, and professionalism. I clean up after myself and your pet, make sure they have everything they need, and give them both freedom and structure depending on their personality. I tune in to how your pet communicates. I notice changes in appetite, energy, and bathroom habits, and will let you know if anything seems off. I'm gentle but direct, and I take pride in earning trust slowly and steadily-especially with anxious or quirky animals. Note: I love sending daily photo updates during each stay or visit so you can see how your pet is doing! If you prefer fewer updates or no photos, just let me know—l want to make sure communication fits your style.

Alyssa was amazing! both my cats were taken care of so well despite their medications, issues, and all the other obstacles that kept happening during this trip. Alyssa was amazing! She took great care of our three cats, two of which are special needs. She spent quality time making sure they were well fed, cleaned up after, exercised, and loved. Our special needs boys make quite a mess and she endured everything was pristine! I would highly recommend Alyssa! We hope to schedule with her on future trips!

Schedule
I work from home full-time (8am-5pm), which gives me flexibility to offer house sitting, overnight care, and scheduled drop-ins with real presence. I'm available most evenings after 6:30pm, and I can offer mid-day walks or visits during lunch my lunch hours if given a few days notice. I aim to fit seamlessly into your pet's rhythm, not disrupt it. I offer consistent communication, schedule transparency, and updates you can count on.
