About: My family is grateful to still care for our 17 year old senior dog, Ace. We have had Ace since he was 8 months old. I have the energy to handle a puppy and the patience to handle a senior dog. I also have my own cat, Sophia. I truly understand the temperaments of both animals. I’ve been trusted to care for my own pets as well as my friends. I am available throughout the week as I am dedicated to Rover full time. I have my own vehicle so that makes traveling seamless. I am available from 10am-10pm most days. I understand that each pet will have their own specific way to be cared for. A pet is absolutely individualistic and there is no one way to care for everyone’s pet. Therefore, I will follow the directions as explained in order to keep the fur baby’s routine.
About: Hi! My name is Ashlyn Turner. I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember! I grew up in a home with dogs, cats, and even some small animals like hamsters and reptiles! I now have two cats myself, which is why I love rover- then I can still get my puppy fix! While I am watching your animals I will treat and love them just like my own two (spoiled) cats I look forward to hearing from you and getting the chance to meet your fur babies! Why I love dog sitting I've had dogs ever since I was born! My house has never been dog free, and I never intend on in being that way! My experience administering medication Yes, I watched a dog who had a seizure disorder who I administered daily meds to. (I am also an RN, so i administer meds to people daily!) I’m currently taking a break from my job (registered nurse) so aside from when I’m away on a trip etc I am available full time! I do not have a fenced in yard, so this depends on the situation. I do have an empty guest room if the animal needed its own space!
“Sophiya was fabulous! I have a very shy cat, so she gave her the room she needed and was just there for her to make sure she needed anything. Will definitely will be booking with her again!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Anthony as our pet sitter. From the moment we met him, he was extremely polite, professional, and trustworthy. Our cat Betty was clearly in great hands while we were away, she was calm, healthy, and very well cared for when we returned. On top of that, everything was left clean and perfectly in order, which we truly appreciated. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing both our home and our cat were being looked after so carefully. We would highly recommend Anthony to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, and we will absolutely ask for his help again in the future.”

“Kayleigh responded quickly and was very accommodating. She was very nice and helpful. Would recommend her to anyone! My dog who can be a bit shy around strangers warmed up to her right away. Thank you so much!”

“I can't say enough positive things about Angela. She was able to accommodate my last minute trip. She kept in contact throughout the day, provided adorable updates and pictures. Even though I was out of town, I felt my animals were in good hands, and I had peace of mind. I'm actually looking forward to going out of town again because I know my babies will be well taken care of. Thank you Angela!! I appreciate you!”

I currently work full time at a veterinary office but love taking care of animals outside of work as well. I am home in the morning during the week and home in the afternoons on weekends. “Linda goes above and beyond. Very caring, compassionate with my Buster and Blondie. Buster had stopped eating and drainage from eyes. He was dying. She talked to him and put the phone up to him for me to talk to him. He waited for me to get home Monday. Tuesday I took him to the vet and he had a very peaceful passing. A million thanks to Linda fir all she does. Debbie M”
About: Hi! We’re Amy and Keith — a dependable, animal-loving couple offering overnight and long-term pet sitting in your home. Caring for animals has always been a natural part of our lives. Over the years, we’ve loved and cared for many types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and small animals. As lifelong pet parents ourselves, we understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you truly trust. Even though we don’t currently have pets of our own, our love for animals remains a huge part of who we are. Friends and family have trusted us for years to care for their pets, and we treat every animal like family. We’re comfortable administering medications, maintaining established routines, supporting senior pets, and adjusting to each pet’s unique personality and needs. Whether your pet needs structure, patience, playtime, or extra TLC, we provide calm, attentive care. We specialize in caring for pets in their familiar environment, where they feel safest and most comfortable. Please note: we do not offer boarding in our home. What you can expect from us: • Calm, patient, and attentive care • Comfortable with medications and special needs • Experienced with multiple pet types and temperaments • Clean, respectful, and highly responsible • Ideal for overnight and extended stays Having nearly 60 years of combined federal service, our careers required exceptional levels of trust, reliability, and accountability. We held secret security clearances throughout our professional lives, which reflects the integrity and responsibility we bring into everything we do. We’re also previous landlords, extremely handy, and very thoughtful when it comes to caring for a home. We understand how important it is to respect someone’s space, maintain order, and handle small issues calmly and responsibly if they arise. We genuinely enjoy working as a team and providing pet parents with peace of mind. Our goal is simple: keep your pets happy, maintain their routines, and ensure your home is treated with care and respect while you’re away. If you’re looking for trustworthy, mature, and highly dependable overnight or long-term sitters, we’d love to help. Because we’re retired, pet care easily becomes part of our daily and weekly rhythm. We genuinely enjoy being present, maintaining routines, and giving pets the time and attention they’re used to. Your pet’s schedule becomes our schedule — whether that means morning walks, medication timing, play sessions, feeding routines, evening wind-down time, or simply companionship throughout the day. Our flexibility allows us to adapt to your pet’s needs rather than fitting them into a busy lifestyle. This lifestyle is exactly why we love long-term and overnight care. Pets thrive on consistency, and we’re able to provide calm, steady, predictable attention while you’re away. Caring for pets in a client’s home is something we take very seriously because we understand we are stepping into both their pet’s safe space and their personal environment. We approach every stay with one simple mindset: maintain comfort, routine, and emotional security. For example, we once cared for a senior dog who had very specific medication timing and a nightly ritual of being tucked in with a particular blanket. Rather than seeing those as instructions, we saw them as part of what made that pet feel safe. By the second night, he would calmly wait for us, tail wagging, ready for his routine. It was a small but meaningful sign of trust. In another home, we cared for a shy rescue cat who spent most of the first day observing us from a distance. Instead of forcing interaction, we respected her pace. By quietly sharing space, maintaining feeding routines, and offering gentle consistency, she slowly became curious, then affectionate. By the end of the stay, she had claimed her preferred spot beside us on the couch. Those moments never stop feeling special. We have learned that pets communicate comfort in subtle ways. Relaxed posture, playful energy, peaceful sleep, or simply choosing to stay close. Those are the signals we pay attention to. Our care typically includes maintaining established feeding schedules, walks, exercise, playtime, medication if needed, and of course companionship. Beyond the basics, we focus heavily on emotional well-being. Some pets want activity and engagement, while others simply want calm presence and reassurance. Because we work as a team, pets are rarely left without attention for long periods. This helps maintain stability and reduce stress while owners are away. For us, pet sitting is not just supervision. It is about creating a sense of normalcy and comfort in your absence.
New Port Richey dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lindsay was fantastic with Indie, Francine, and Pearl. She was punctual, attentive to each dog’s individual needs, and went above and beyond—cleaning up messes and making sure everyone was comfortable. We appreciated the personalized care and will definitely be using her again. Highly recommended.

Christina came over almost right away, pausing her day, just to sit on the couch with my Zoey for 30 minutes while I return my rental car. She had a small surgery today and has an open wound and I didn't want to leave her alone. Thanks so much, Christina!! You're a life saver, two days in a row.
I've lost track of how many times we have booked Karma and she has done a great job every single time. It's gotten to the point where I'm not sure we would ever leave town if Karma couldn't take care of our three dogs! :-) We were away for a full week this time and knowing the pups were in Karma's care gave us complete peace of mind. There is a reason (actually a LOT of reasons) why she is at the top of Rover's ratings!

Holly was super amazing with my girl! She came over beforehand just to meet my dog and try and be friends. She took the time to love her and was super patient. This was my first time leaving my baby with someone new and I was nervous, but Holly made it such a great experience! Thank you!!
