I now own a 3 and a half year old english bulldog/pug mix who is super friendly and loves to be around other dogs! I also own a 4 year old german shepherd, who is also super friendly and loves to play. I do live in a house with a fenced year for plenty of room to run around. I have plenty of toys to play with, but you are welcome to provide your own! I do request that you provide their food and treats. I work remotely giving me the ability to be able to be attentive to your animal and have flexibility. I am free on mornings, late afternoons and evenings. I have a good sized yard for the dogs to play. I want every dog to feel the least amount of disruption/stress, so I try to ensure their typical daily routine is followed when staying with me.
About: Starting at age 9 I raised pigs on my grandpas farm and showed them in the fair. I then decided to become vegan at age 13 after realizing the brutal way animals were treated. Last year I enrolled as a foster parent for the local animal shelter. I fostered a sweet, active pit bull named Rebel for two months. Then I fostered a few kittens. I now have my cat that’s grown up with me since I was 4. Unfortunately I can’t commit to having my own dog right now which is why I am on Rover. I have also fostered a kitten from the street that needed to be bottle fed and kept warm. I have open availability to pet sit as I am in the process of finding a job. About: My husband Chris and I have an over 1400 square ft home with no kids. We love to spoil our furry guests and Chris is disabled so at home 24/7. We have a fully fenced in backyard with a doggie door for your fur babies to go outside anytime they like. We have a medium sized Dashund Lab Mix that we rescued. She is extremely docile, fixed, has all her shots and was raised with a little Chihuahua so is friendly with all sized dogs and cats. If you have any questions or would like a tour of our home just let us know. We are always happy to ensure you can enjoy your time away stress free. I go to work at noon and come home at 10pm. My Husband Chris is disabled and at home 24/7 to give your fur babies all the love and attention they need. We have a doggie door for outside access to our fully fenced in backyard. So they can roam freely through the house and yard as they please. We will follow all requests for care in clients home and if unable to do so or are delayed will always be transparent and let them know.
About: I've taken care of animals since I was younger. We've had quite a few different types of animals from bunnies and hamsters to cats and dogs. I care for my own two dogs, one which is senior requiring medication and special care so I can easily work special needs into your care too. My husband also works from home so if a dog is staying with me, it will rarely be alone and always able to have outside time as needed. I treat other dogs how I would want my dogs treated. I am extremely respectful of other people’s homes, knowing it can be very uncomfortable, allowing strangers into the home.

One of our dogs is “special” and usually gets gastritis after boarding due to her high anxiety. For the first time, she is a happy, healthy pup after vacation! No gastritis at all! They actually didn’t seem to be in a hurry to come home! Due to the extraordinary care she gave, we didn’t worry about our pups as much as we normally do while away. “Jen was an absolute angel helping with Journey during a transportation hiccup and scheduling miscommunication between my trainer and me. I needed someone to bridge the gap between Journey being dropped off by her transporter and my trainer's daughter being available to receive her, and Jen stepped in without hesitation.
