“Alyssa was wonderful to work with. She followed instructions, communicated clearly and often, and really respected my home. My animals really took a liking to her, as did we! I look forward to using her services in the future.”

About: I have been pet sitting and walking for a decade now and have my own pets. I can handle small and big dogs as well as young and old dogs. I go at their speed with a gentle push so we get some distance in too. I work from home most days and that allows a flexible schedule to get plenty of play time and walks in throughout the day or I care for them like my own and cuddle as much as possible if they like that. If not we just chill and keep each other company
About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all ages, from energetic puppies to calm seniors. I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable while keeping their routines consistent. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet companionship, I treat every pet like my own. I m a full time employee as a school teacher so I am off by 2pm everyday and free for the entire weekend. I will be able to handle your pets care with consistency and dependability. I have a comfortable home with a fenced in yard. I have a dog that does very well with others and loves playing with new friends so your pet will have plenty of company. My home is my pets’ home , they are allowed on furniture and beds so that they can feel comfortable and at ease. I have trails nearby, so there is plenty of new places to explore!
About: As a dedicated pet lover with years of experience, I provide personalized care for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to senior companions. I understand that every pet has unique needs and ensure they feel comfortable, loved, and well-exercised. My reliability, attention to detail, and passion for animals set me apart. Whether it’s daily walks, administering medications, or simply giving extra belly rubs, I treat every pet like my own. I’m currently in school to become a paramedic, so I’m offering pet care as a way to help pay for my education while doing something I genuinely enjoy. My availability is Monday and Wednesday from 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, Tuesday from 4:00 PM–10:00 PM, and Thursday through Sunday from 6:00 AM–10:00 AM. During those times, I’m fully committed to providing dependable, attentive care for your pets. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, feeding, or some extra playtime and cuddles, I’ll make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special needs so I can provide care that’s consistent with what they’re used to at home. During walks, I always use secure leashes and harnesses as instructed, stay aware of our surroundings, and avoid situations that could be unsafe. During drop-in visits or house sitting, I’ll follow your feeding schedule, refresh water, administer oral medications if needed, clean up after your pets, and make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I’ll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own by keeping it clean, locking doors and gates, and sending regular photo and message updates so you can feel confident your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Dylan was a wonderful sitter for my kitties. She was very communicative and did a great job. Everything looked great upon my return and kitties seemed very content and happy. Will definitely ask for her service again!”

“Miranda helped us out a couple of times over the summer in a pinch. She was great with our puppy and provided a lot of photos. I really appreciated her feedback and communication, and the puppy appreciated the attention!”

“Courtney was great. My cats didn't hide when she came over they seemed to really like her. I appreciated the photo updates that she sent me. I will definitely ask her to watch them on my next getaway.”

“Wow, what a great job Peyton did with my 2 dogs! She went above and beyond. She was able to take my puppy, who is extremely energetic, on a long walk, and my pup is a real puller and pretty strong. I feel confident that my fur babies are in good hands while I am away from home. I am going to book her again for tomorrow morning. 😊”

About: I work full-time from home, I love the outdoors, music, and dogs. I grew up having dogs and my boyfriend and I do have a dog together. He loves other dogs! He is very friendly and not aggressive at all. He enjoys having company! I can do weekdays and weekends. Our dog loves dog parks, I have no problem taking yours along with us! I do require the use of a crate for when there is no one home, it just ensures that both dogs are safe and not getting into any funny business - especially with one being in a new home. Also, please be transparent about your dog's energy levels. Since I do work from home, knowing your dogs typical temperament is extremely helpful to ensure I can properly care for your pup! Have no fear, your pup will be well taken care of! It fits pretty seamlessly. My son is at school most of the day and the flexibility in my schedule allows me to give your pet the attention and care they deserve! I rely heavily on the direction of the owner. I think it's best to keep the dogs schedule as similar to what they experience at home. Of course I use my own experience and judgement situationally, however, I have found consistency is best.
About: Hi! I’m Avery, a college student at USF and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve grown up around all kinds of pets and have experience taking care of dogs and cats of all different personalities, sizes, and ages. I’m responsible, reliable, and communicative and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I will also keep you updated with photos and messages to make sure you have peace of mind. I am currently doing summer classes online and babysitting. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to make arrangements. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and check-ins are easy to incorporate into my day. I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free, especially when around someone new. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other specific care preferences. I treat every pet as an individual and adjust my care to fit their personality and needs. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dunedin
Amanda was wonderful! She came by twice today to check on and walk Novi while we were at the beach all day, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing Novi was in great hands. We absolutely love her, and Novi does too! We’re so grateful for how dependable, caring, and sweet she is. Highly recommend!

We invited her twice to have our talk and instructions before we left for 2 weeks. She sent us daily pictures of our dogs and cat from every visits. When she couldn't find the cat one day, we told her it's ok, the cat was raised by the dogs and she goes outside to do her business. Later she found the cat and sent us pictures as proof. We will be using her again whenever we have to leave our pets.
First time using rover and so impressed with the person I chose to watch my girl Tesa. Emily made it easy for me not to worry one bit! She provided clear communication, provided update pictures, and documented all the details to make me feel so at ease. Only a few people I can trust with my dog, Emily is trustworthy and my girl’s new dog-sitter anytime I’m gone!

Brooke did a wonderful job getting to know our little doggy… She was responsible, reliable, and professional. We received lots of pictures and lots of updates about how our doggie was doing in our absence. This made us feel more comfortable about leaving him. Highly recommended!

Alexis did a great job with my dog! From the moment we got to meet her I knew that my dog was going to love her, she is so sweet and knowledgeable. She took bunch of wonderful pictures of Luna and I can tell she was having an amazing time. I highly recommend Alexis to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
