We are very pleased w the care she provided, her dependability, and feedback after each visit. You can tell she truly loves animals! I will continue to book w her as my needs arise.”

“Mason is great with my Lola! He has a gift with making dogs feel at ease, which in turns helps me feel at ease. He’s very attentive to her needs, and she enjoys his playful nature and company! We look forward to continued walks/visits/ and stays! Lola will be in great care!”

About: Hi! I’m Avery, a college student at USF and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve grown up around all kinds of pets and have experience taking care of dogs and cats of all different personalities, sizes, and ages. I am more than happy to tailor to your pets needs whether it’s a long walk, playtime, or just a friend to keep company. I’m responsible, reliable, and communicative and will treat your pets like they’re my own. I will also keep you updated with photos and messages to make sure you have peace of mind. I am currently doing summer classes online and babysitting. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to make arrangements. I enjoy spending time outdoors, so walks, playtime, and check-ins are easy to incorporate into my day. I do my best to keep pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free, especially when around someone new. In a client’s home, I follow all instructions for feeding, walks, medications (if needed), playtime, and any other specific care preferences. I treat every pet as an individual and adjust my care to fit their personality and needs. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.
“We had a great experience with Alexis! She took wonderful care of our cat and followed all of our instructions perfectly. We really appreciated the updates and photos, they gave us peace of mind while traveling. We would definitely book her again and highly recommend her to others!”

“Dawn is absolutely phenomenal and went above and beyond all expectations caring for our pets and home while we were away. I felt at ease knowing she was there and sending pictures with updates at each visit. Dawn is a total professional and I’d highly recommend her!”

“LizBeth, or Grandma Liz like she calls herself, was nothing short of AMAZING!!! My babies were so well cared for, and probably even more spoiled than when I'm around. She fed my senior dog his pills and took him on walks. She went above and beyond and even brought inside some mail packages for me. I was away for 10 days, and I'm pretty sure my pets wanted to see her rather than me when I came back ? All in all, I would 100% here her again.”
“Olga took great care of our cats. She’s very reliable and responsive, which made our time away from home free of headaches. We absolutely loved the pictures we received every day, which was one of our trip's highlights.”

“Linda is always so flexible with being able to walk my dog at the last minute. She is very communicative and makes me feel comfortable when I have a day of plans and cannot take my dog out ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind and any age since I was 14. I had my soul dog very young and brought her along for all the big life moments. Sadly, she’s no longer with me so I enjoy spending my time with other fur babies! I love giving my attention and time to the babies. I am currently serving as my main job. I have light hours and can be flexible with what is needed to make it work. I love all the babies. I have 3 cats in my home, and need to check on them daily if staying in a clients home. I can stay over night or I can come back early in the morning, whatever the preference may be.

With my gentle touch, I will care for your dog as if they are my own with compassion and lots of love. I will send photos and videos as you wish during visits. It's 2024 and I am back petsitting! I am available during days of the week to schedule time to spend with your fur babies and give them all the attention they need. I do not care for pets in my own home at this time. That could change in the future, but as of now, it is not an option.
“David help us out last minute after other sitter bailed on us the day before our vacation. David was very responsive. He took care of our 2 dogs without any issues. We will definitely book David again!”
About: I love dogs! I have cared for my own most of my life. As a child and an adult. I have also had the opportunity to care for dogs for friends and family. I am home full time and I am available to spend lots of time with your dog. I volunteered at an animal shelter for short time and handled a variety of different dogs. I have experience in caring for senior dogs and with giving medicines and vitamins. I will snuggle with your dog on the couch, bed or right down on the floor and make sure they are well cared for. I understand the need for finding the right person to care your baby as I have had to do so for my own. I would love the opportunity to do that for you.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dunedin
Amanda was wonderful! She came by twice today to check on and walk Novi while we were at the beach all day, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing Novi was in great hands. We absolutely love her, and Novi does too! We’re so grateful for how dependable, caring, and sweet she is. Highly recommend!

We invited her twice to have our talk and instructions before we left for 2 weeks. She sent us daily pictures of our dogs and cat from every visits. When she couldn't find the cat one day, we told her it's ok, the cat was raised by the dogs and she goes outside to do her business. Later she found the cat and sent us pictures as proof. We will be using her again whenever we have to leave our pets.
First time using rover and so impressed with the person I chose to watch my girl Tesa. Emily made it easy for me not to worry one bit! She provided clear communication, provided update pictures, and documented all the details to make me feel so at ease. Only a few people I can trust with my dog, Emily is trustworthy and my girl’s new dog-sitter anytime I’m gone!

Brooke did a wonderful job getting to know our little doggy… She was responsible, reliable, and professional. We received lots of pictures and lots of updates about how our doggie was doing in our absence. This made us feel more comfortable about leaving him. Highly recommended!

Alexis did a great job with my dog! From the moment we got to meet her I knew that my dog was going to love her, she is so sweet and knowledgeable. She took bunch of wonderful pictures of Luna and I can tell she was having an amazing time. I highly recommend Alexis to anyone!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Dunedin with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
